It's up to you :) Use 1 strand for similar size, but if you want it to be bigger, add up 2 strands is an easy way to increase the size.

may be start with this video th-cam.com/video/hliktc4ayHU/w-d-xo.html , they share the same pattern for first 3-4 round. And it may be easier to spot the stitch with only 1 strand of yarn. Hope this help :D

Está fácil:
Anillo mágico con 6pb
2- aumento en cada uno de los 6 puntos.
3- 1pb y un aumento hasta terminar la vuelta.
4- 1pb, 1pb, aumento.
5- 1pb, 1pb, 1pb aumento.
6- 1pb en cada uno de los puntos
7- 1pb pero en el punto del frente (agarrando todo el punto bajo) vea 5:20
Cortar y dejar lana para coser las piezas
Hacer 2 iguales.
Luego en blanco:
1- Anillo mágico con 12 pa, cerrar la vuelta con punto deslizado y subir 3 cadenas.
2- 2pa por cada uno de los puntos, cerrar la vuelta con punto deslizado y subir 1 cadena.
3- 1 pb en los 3 puntos siguientes, 2 pb en el siguiente punto hasta terminar vuelta punto deslizado y cortar hilo.
Se rellena una pieza celeste y se le pega el blanco como tapita vea 10:21
Coser la otra pieza encima para formar el macaron.
Listo!!
