I suspect you have an ear for songs that are well-writtened & produced. Most songs in that era were made by 'record people', those that loved music. Today most companies are run by corporations who are only interested in the "bottom line". Most of today's recordings will be forgotten in 10 years.

Songs from this era were really good. No auto tune, the people could play their instruments and sing etc. They looked smart too! I was a teenager in the 1980s but I've always loved songs from the 40s, 50s, and 60s (as well as a few centuries earlier lol)!

I suspect you have an ear for songs that are well-writtened & produced. Most songs in that era were made by 'record people', those that loved music. Today most companies are run by corporations who are only interested in the "bottom line". Most of today's recordings will be forgotten in 10 years.

He’s not dead, he’s in his crate, because he’s a puppy.) I also used to have a dog. Sierra was a big part of my life before she passed away this past year. She was 14. My parents put her down while I was at camp. 🪦
