I made one nicely. Used white plastic (from used shampoo bottle) for the eyes. Put L.E.D.s and 9volt batteries to make the eyes glow. Thank you. P.S.: I use your water-glue mixtures #1 (1:1 ratio) & #2 (1:2 ratio) to harden and protect similar projects as protocol. It also provides water-resistance since I apply the mixture thoroughly. It also works to protect EVA Foam from paint applications.
Tip: To give the helmet a steel look with scratches .spray paint like dali did till the silver . and then spray paint a bit black at one place and then push paint with a crushed ( like a circle :P) plastic cover softley and then repeat the steps...:)
so if i paper mache even more layers there will no be visible cardboard texture? maybe if each layer i change the mixture of the pva, first 50/50 then 70/30 and then 90/10 and then a single layer pva glue without anything else, there should be a way to make it super smooth. without using wall filler what you think?

You should do a 2002 spiderman face shell, ive tried making the one you have but the eyes were to big and i couldnt get it to the right size. always turned out crappy. idk what it is you do man but you do it better than me.
Your helmets are most amazing my friend. I have a question about the paper mache part: do you cover the entire outside of the helmet, and will doing it on the inside increase stability? I want to build a helmet without using resin (don't want to kill the brain cells) and I'm going there is a way to increase the durability and longevity of the helmet
+TheLastTrueblade yes, papermache the inside too if you want your helmet to be very solid, but make sure the outside is completely dried first, because you don't want the cardboard to be too wet, it will get soft, i suggest put it under the sun or under a fan :)
+Dali DIY One more question friend. When printing off the template after i get my head measurement, should i make the template a little larger like 5mm or so or exact size of my head? The last time i was making a helmet the helmet was too small for I had to split it into a mask and a helmet.
WHAT IF... you used wax parchment paper for the eyes, and then put a small LIGHT within the mask that wouldnt touch your eyes, but would shine on that parchment paper to give that glowing eye look? Maybe even put aluminum foil on the inside around the eyes for reflection to help make it even brighter??

you can't wear it in the pool, but if you want rain-proof, you can seal it with outdoor wall paint before painting your final color :)

wall paint is very versatile, mix more water you will get thin smooth paint, less water you can use it to fill tiny holes & make texture :)
