I like the option with the chicken on top and the book to the side. It might be cute with hay/ moss and then the little chicken..like it’s in its nest.
Girl I am flattered that you would ask for our opinion, but in my opinion, there is nobody on this planet better than you when it comes to decorating. Love your booth.
Donna, I’m so enjoying your videos. I have to admit that I’ve watched them off and on for a while but when you did vlogmas, I began to so look forward to meeting you each day over your cup of coffee❤ so now when they come out, I’m excited! It’s like I’m getting to visit a good friend and see what she’s up to 🥰 Thank you for sharing how easy it is to convert an oil lamp to electric! I’m definitely going to be using that in the future!
Option 2 because it doesn't look as busy and a different level keeps your eye moving.. btw booth is lovely and love the wrought iron decor with greenery and red shade lamp
Thank you so much for showing us how to make an oil lamp an electric lamp! I’ve got a new interest: oil lamps! It was beautiful!! I think your idea for the sleigh was great 👌🏻👍🏻. I’m not much help with the kitchen scale, lol! I liked them both. With the book as a riser you could see more of the cover. I loved the chicken on top! But I also liked the second option 🤷🏻♀️, so there you go, me being helpful (not!!) Thank you for bringing joy each day!!
I love your thrift haul! You got a good deal on that table, for sure! I think your scale and cookbook looks good either way, but option 2 is my favorite. ❤
I like option 2 with cookbook standing. Thanks for showing the oil lamp switch to electric. Nice. I do use mine as oil lamps whenever power is out during winter or storms. But could switch when needed. Hope some more snow melts today, high 45 later. Still so much on the ground. I like the corner table, so cute. Have a good week. ❤😊🙏🇺🇸🐾🦌
Good morning Donna. You got some great finds. I am so glad that you showed us how to turn an oil lamp electric. I wanted one. Now I know how to fix the one I have. I like the chicken on top with the book by the side. You have got to go and get that cook book that you want. It will look great in your kitchen.❤
I didn’t realize how easy it was to convert an oil lamp to electric… so thank you! I like the book on the side of your scale and chicken in the top. You picked up great stuff as usual!
Option # 2 ❤! But both ways look good. I love your booth and the other booth is nice too, nice and open in both booths. The clock timer is so cute. Nice Avon candle holders. How sweet was the plate? Pretty fruit tin. The sleigh is gonna be so pretty next Christmas. Nice way to enjoy the oil lamps. Great video! God bless your day…..🍃♥️🍃
I like the cookbook beside it. The metal container is neat, it reminds me of an ice bucket too. You found some nice items again. Good for you. It’s supposed to warm up over the weekend so we decided to head south and see if we could find some inventory. I’ve been trying to get my new work area organized and ready to start decoupaging the cutting boards. I’m tired tonight 😁
I like option 2 for the scale and chicken because it looks safer. I’m afraid something’s going to break in the option before that. Everything looks cute. Thank you for sharing.😊
I like the scale on the book. My thrift stores are very hit or miss. I have a thrift haul video coming and most of my stuff came from a store that has been virtually empty for months. We have one American Thrift but the last time I went (which I talk about in my video) their prices were HIGH! LOVE the sleigh!!
Thank you for showing us how simple it can be to change out our oil lamps. I have one from my mom, but I always struggle with where it’s home should be. Making it an actual lamp will give it a purpose, and hopefully, after 20+ years, it will have a designated “home”. And that Holy Family is such a great piece! I hope you go ahead and redo it soon, so we can see it. Sure did miss Buster today🙁. Not even a peep. I hope he’s ok❤️❤️
Hi Donna Still like the cookbook the way you originally had it 👍. Like the red sleigh. I think I would keep it red....refresh it with new paint and buy a better ribbon to go through it. Something red and white with Snowmen or Santa. I would buy it looking like a Christmas Decoration for sure! Hugs, Pam ❤🌹😊
option 2❤ but I would put either a doily or a nest underneath the hen❤ just my opinion❤ I love that table that you bought for $10. Myself I would use it in my home for a plant table because I have so many plants. I actually use my scale to put my placemats on. It is sitting on my jelly cabinet. It does have the top to it though. Have a blessed day love me and Otis, Massachusetts.
Good afternoon Donna Great thrift haul. The sleigh is so adorable, I can’t wait to see how it looks after you paint it. I’m sure it’s going to looked amazing. The table is so nice, especially for $10 what a great buy. I like option 1 but both of them look good. Booth came out really good.
I liked the cookbook as a riser with the chicken. Enjoyed watching the oil lamp conversion. Want to make a lamp from a pewter tea pot too. Thanks Donna.
Hey Donna! I like the cookbook as a riser. Those little bunnies are precious! Funny thing, last week we went antique shopping and I scored 10 vintage Christmas ornaments for a dollar each! One of them was a Dove made by Avon in 1981! Isn't it great when we find such treasures :)
Donna, that sled is amazing! I love it. Wish I lived closer and I would buy it from you! I love red so I think it looks awesome as is, but will be pretty any way!
I found a flag scarf in the Goodwill bins years ago that looks just like that. I put it across my fireplace mantel around July 4th. I love the sleigh. It would look good on your front porch.
Hi Donna, love both the options, but option 2 is my favorite. Love the holy family, timer, the tin is gorgeous, the bunny candle holders are so adorable and the sleigh, have never seen a sleigh like that. Thank you showing us how to change the oil lamp to electric. The table was a steal for $10.00. You find the best treasures!!! Have a blessed day.💞💞💞💞
Donna, I’m going with Option 2, TYFS the part to make an oil lamp into electric without ruining its integrity that’s so awesome. Going to have to try this as I love the oils lamps but need the ease of electric light sometimes. Can’t wait to see the bust of Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus transformed. I think it would be beautiful done with your other paint technique as well. Have a great week. 💜💜💜
I like option 2, you said you had a matching chicken on the scale. I know you have small stack of maybe 3 plates, platters to sit the additional chicken right under you electric plug scooted next to the scale. I was thinking brass before you said it regarding the holy family you picked up. Happy thrifting 😊😊😊
Wow, some great hauls ! And what a super hack to change over an oil lamp but still can change back (what will they think of next 😂 lol). Now if I can locate my oil lamps 😎. Love ya lots and God bless you every minute of every day❣️
I like option#2. I can’t believe all the goodies u find at the Goodwill! Ours is so sparse! I never find any chickens or roosters which I live. I have very few in my kitchens but not by choose! Haha!
Good morning sweet friend! I think i like option 1, I like seeing the book a little better. I like the suggestion someone made about making a nest under the chicken, now that would really be super cute!😊 Love the lanterns too! Girl I been looking for one of the table top scales for the longest time! The few I've seen were priced way Too high🫤 But doggone it, I'm determined to find one!😁 I'm looking for a Better Homes cookbook 1964, or older. No luck yet! Mmm those lantern sconces sure were beautiful!! That, what i think is an ice bucket, is really pretty! I love the big tin, so cool that its double sided! The cane reminds me of Danielle!😉 Now I love the globe! I love to find A smaller one. You may could find out the age if you google lens it but make sure you get the entire base in the picture🤷♀️ Oh Donna i can already tell you the hobbiest piece is going to be gorgeous when you get done! Oohh my i love that sleigh!!😮 I don't know why but i just love sleighs! The table is really nice, love it!❤ Oh Wow! Thanks so much for the tip & links for making the oil lamp into a lamp! I'd love to make one of the old ones that belonged to my FIL into a lamp. I'm sure my husband would love it too!!🥹 There's one with a dark emerald green base i think would be so pretty as a lamp. I'm excited to try it!!😁 Nice little haul, nice pieces! I get to go see the house this weekend.. my husband was at the shop Saturday & the family was outside so he walked over & they took him in. He said its really nice. I'm actually going to have A laundry room instead I'd a closet😄 So you know I'm gonna hang some shelves so I can decorate in there! But anyways, enjoyed hanging out this morning & see you tomorrow hopefully!😊 Love & hugs❤🤗
I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! I bet you'll find a scale, and a Better Homes cookbook, soon! I know you can’t wait to get into your house. As far as the lantern, this is a great way to use them as a lamp without messing them up. Thank you for hanging out with me. 🥰
Good morning Donna! Love the option #2…chicken atop the scale and cookbook to the side because using the book as a riser competed with the height of your bread box vignette height plus the copper chicken mould looks great layered in front of the platter. And, with the cookbook standing makes it easy to pull and look through. I’m with you on painting the sled black and gold because it will appeal to a wider group of shoppers. It can always be accessorized with colors of the season. Thank you for sharing how to convert the oil lamps to electric! 💕
Good morning, Kathy! Thank you so much! I’m so happy you liked the lamp conversion. 😊 I agree painting the sled will be more versatile. I’m not sure it came across in the video, but that is a “bright” red and I didn’t prefer it. If it was more toned down it might’ve looked better. Just my thoughts. It’s only paint, right? 😉🥰
Good Morning sweet friend In the kitchen I like option 2 if it is pleasing to your eye 👀 then thats the one you want to go with. Cause every time you look at it you will smile😊. Glad your booth is doing great. And such a nice little haul. Love the sleigh. Hugs to buster. XOXO
I like option 2 with the cookbook next to bread box and the scale sitting on counter with chicken on top. Great thrift finds! Thank you so much for the tutorial for the oil lamps to become electric. So easy. Love it. Thanks Donna. Have a wonderful blessed day. 🙏❤️🤗
Love all the items! You have such a great eye for things girl! Thanks for the lamp info i have one I need to make that way! Super easy! Have a blessed day! Love ya! Much love and hugs, Lori
WOW 🤩 You are the QUEEN! 😂❤ I always wanted to know how you make an oil lamp electric!! So easy! Is there anything you can’t buy from Amazon???? LOL 😂😂 THANKS SO MUCH!!!!👍💚💙💚💕💖
Hi Donna ❤Love the chicken on top. That cookbook is so tall it looks better to the side Option 2. Turn the spine out so it shows instead of pages. See how that looks. Marking big pieces down? You will need back up😂
That Corner table is AMAZING. I would Old English it. The dark. That lamp conversion is awesome. And if it's clear and you want to add some sparkle down below. Put some craft vintage jewelry with some old lace. Or some of the shredded milar used in gift baskets. SO Many possibilities. Thank you for sparking my creativity. LOVE the sleigh. I love them. And that one is special
I just love you Donna!! You have such great ideas and you have taught me so many things on your channel!! I don’t always respond after each video but just know I am watching you faithfully!! You are my favorite TH-cam channel in all the ones I watch!! Keep the ideas and inspiration flowing in my head!!! Love your haul as usual!! lol ❤️😊🐓P.S. We have so much snow here in West Virginia, it’s beautiful but it needs to go!! We have icicles so big that they would kill somebody if they broke off and fell, Lord Almighty!! Love ya girl!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much! I appreciate you. I would think it’s pretty to look at but I can understand how it would get old too…😬😄. Hopefully it will warm up enough to at least melt.
Thank you for showing how easy it is to convert an oil lamp. I am going to do that when I find one. I was so happy you got the urn and yes it is an ice bucket. The liner prevents it from sweating when filled with ice. Fabulous find!❤
Loved Option 2 in the kitchen, with the cookbook standing up next to the kitchen scale. Personally, I didn't think it looked good sitting on top of the cookbook. That little chicken sitting on top nis so cute - I just love it. Wow Donna, that Christmas sleigh you thrifted is amazing, and you're right, it would not have ever been around at Christmas time.
I like option 2, but put him in a little basket with straw. So cute. Love that table. Alao the Holy family. I know you will do a wonderful job on it. Love alk you do. And you always make it look easy. Hugs to Buster ❤
Good morning, Donna! I like the cookbook beside the scale better. What a fantastic haul! That sleigh is gorgeous! I used to have a large collection of oil lamps, I only kept a couple. I just might have to make them electric, so thank you for showing us that. See you in the next one!
Good morning, I like option 1. You can swap out the options and use each one for a while. That’s the way I do things. Option 1 draws your eye to that whole side, but your house, your things. Love the haul too. The booth looks great and I’m glad you are selling a lot. Have a wonderful day Donna
I like the option with the chicken on top and the book to the side. It might be cute with hay/ moss and then the little chicken..like it’s in its nest.
Thank you! 🥰
Girl I am flattered that you would ask for our opinion, but in my opinion, there is nobody on this planet better than you when it comes to decorating. Love your booth.
Awe, thank you!! I feel like we are all friends here sharing decorating ideas and tips. Y’all have helped me and inspired me so many times. 🥰
Donna, I’m so enjoying your videos. I have to admit that I’ve watched them off and on for a while but when you did vlogmas, I began to so look forward to meeting you each day over your cup of coffee❤ so now when they come out, I’m excited! Thank you! I’m so glad you liked the oil lamp hack! You’re not the only one who can’t decide on the scale. 😄. Either way is so cute.
Donna I loved your haul I love that oil lamp It's so pretty And so easy to fix Thank you for sharing sweetie God.Bless you VA. ♥️👑🙏🕊
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it. 🥰
I like the book as a riser but it’s cute either way. I would paint the sled gold, I think that would be beautiful! ❤
Thank you! Gold would be gorgeous! 🥰
I love your thrift haul! You got a good deal on that table, for sure! I think your scale and cookbook looks good either way, but option 2 is my favorite. ❤
Thank you so much! I prefer option 2 too. 😉
I love chickens too and I collect them so I think put the book on top of the scale put the chicken on top of the book beautiful❤😊
Thank you! 🥰
I like option 2 with cookbook standing.
Thanks for showing the oil lamp switch to electric. Nice. I do use mine as oil lamps whenever power is out during winter or storms. But could switch when needed.

Good morning Donna. You got some great finds. I am so glad that you showed us how to turn an oil lamp electric. I wanted one. Now I know how to fix the one I have.

I like option 1 with the book as the riser
Thank you for the change for the oil lamp 🤪that’s me lol !!
Love your haul, everything is fantastic! Thanks for sharing about the oil lamp!❤️❤️❤️
I’m so happy you liked the oil lamp hack. 🥰
I like option 2 for the scale and chicken because it looks safer. I’m afraid something’s going to break in the option before that. Everything looks cute. Thank you for sharing.😊
I think option 2 is safer too. 🥰
Thank you! I’ve noticed the prices are all over the place. It really depends on who is doing the pricing.😄
Thank you for showing us how simple it can be to change out our oil lamps. I have one from my mom, but I always struggle with where it’s home should be. Making it an actual lamp will give it a purpose, and hopefully, after 20+ years, it will have a designated “home”.

Thank you! Buster is good. He was snuggled up. 🥰. I will be showing the holy family very soon. 😉
Hi Donna
Still like the cookbook the way you originally had it 👍. Like the red sleigh. I think I would keep it red....refresh it with new paint and buy a better ribbon to go through it. Something red and white with Snowmen or Santa. I would buy it looking like a Christmas Decoration for sure! Hugs, Pam ❤🌹😊
Thank you, Pam! 🥰
I like the scale with the hen.
Thank you! 🥰
I like option 2.. also the flag scarf is so pretty, looks so old. See ya next time....
Thank you! 🥰
option 2❤ but I would put either a doily or a nest underneath the hen❤ just my opinion❤ I love that table that you bought for $10. Myself I would use it in my home for a plant table because I have so many plants. I actually use my scale to put my placemats on. It is sitting on my jelly cabinet. It does have the top to it though. Have a blessed day love me and Otis, Massachusetts.
Thank you! I love the idea of a doily under the hen. That table would be great for so many things. It’s the perfect size. 🥰♥️🐾
Good afternoon Donna
Great thrift haul. The sleigh is so adorable, I can’t wait to see how it looks after you paint it. I’m sure it’s going to looked amazing. The table is so nice, especially for $10 what a great buy. I like option 1 but both of them look good. Booth came out really good.
Thanks so much! 🥰
I liked the cookbook as a riser with the chicken. Enjoyed watching the oil lamp conversion. Want to make a lamp from a pewter tea pot too. Thanks Donna.
Thank you! I bet a pewter tea pot would be stunning!🥰
Love the oil lamp transition looking forward to do a couple of mine. 👍🏻🙏❤️
You are going to love the easy conversion! 🥰
Cookbook to the side. I liked both the chicken and stoneware. I'd decide based on where you'd style whichever you don't select for this area.
Thank you! I think I finally got it figured out. Will share soon. ☺️
I liked option number one!! I love the idea of the lantern!!
Thanks so much! 🥰
Hey Donna! I like the cookbook as a riser. Those little bunnies are precious! Funny thing, last week we went antique shopping and I scored 10 vintage Christmas ornaments for a dollar each! One of them was a Dove made by Avon in 1981! Isn't it great when we find such treasures :)
Oh wow! That’s awesome!!! 🥰
Slide down the bread box and put the cook books together on the other side. Then the chicken on it scale.😊
I’m going to try that! 🥰
Option 2 is my favorite.
Option 1. Neat idea for the oil lamp.
Thank you! ☺️
I love image number to you, and as far as the metal pot, I think it was the urn for peoples ashes
Thank you! It’s actually an ice bucket. Someone found one like it for sale on Etsy. 🥰
Option one and I agree a nest under the chicken would be so cute.
Thank you! 🥰
❤ I like option 2❤ soooo cute 🥰
Thank you! 🥰
Thank You for showing how to make the oil lamp electric.
You're welcome! 🥰
Donna, that sled is amazing! I love it. Wish I lived closer and I would buy it from you! I love red so I think it looks awesome as is, but will be pretty any way!
Thanks so much!♥️
I vote for option 2. Great thrift haul! 🙋♀️💓
Thanks so much! 🥰
I found a flag scarf in the Goodwill bins years ago that looks just like that. I put it across my fireplace mantel around July 4th. I love the sleigh. It would look good on your front porch.
I love that scarf. I love using them on my mantel too. 🥰
Love the oil lamp Idea! ☕️
I love having mine electric. 🥰
I got my oil lamp at a thrift store $16 love it!
Have a blessed day.💞💞💞💞
Thank you! I’m so glad you liked the finds. 🥰 I could believe the price on that table. I thought it was a steal too.
Donna,
I’m going with Option 2, TYFS the part to make an oil lamp into electric without ruining its integrity that’s so awesome. Going to have to try this as I love the oils lamps but need the ease of electric light sometimes. Can’t wait to see the bust of Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus transformed. I like option 2 best 😊
Thanks for your input, I love how you think! I'll be sharing the final look soon. 🥰
I like the book on the side, also liked the intro music better.
Thank you! 🥰
Love option 2 for the scale. For the wicker sleigh, I like the idea of repainting but I would lose the ribbon.
Thanks for the idea! I think repainting it will look great. 🥰
I like option #2.❤
Hard to pick...both cute❤
Thank you! 🥰
I love option 2 with cookbook to the side.
Wow, some great hauls ! And what a super hack to change over an oil lamp but still can change back (what will they think of next 😂 lol). Now if I can locate my oil lamps 😎. Love ya lots and God bless you every minute of every day❣️

I like option 2 love that little chicken on top and always love your videos!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you liked the chicken on the scale.🥰
Donna I love the holy family but I would do your paint technique like you do on your chickens, the white with wax.
Thank you! 🥰
I like option#2. I can’t believe all the goodies u find at the Goodwill! Ours is so sparse! I never find any chickens or roosters which I live. I have very few in my kitchens but not by choose! Haha!
Thank you! I’ve learned you just gotta keep going in often. The stores are very hit and miss. 😬
That is exactly what i was thinking on the sled.
Great minds! 😉♥️

Good Morning sweet friend
In the kitchen I like option 2 if it is pleasing to your eye 👀 then thats the one you want to go with. Cause every time you look at it you will smile😊. Glad your booth is doing great. And such a nice little haul. Love the sleigh. Hugs to buster. XOXO
Good morning sweet friend! Thank you! I prefer option 2. Less chance of messing up my cookbook. 😉♥️. Love you.
Love the cane. Great finds
Thank you so much! 🥰
I like option 2 with the cookbook next to bread box and the scale sitting on counter with chicken on top. Great thrift finds! Thank you so much for the tutorial for the oil lamps to become electric. So easy. Love it. Thanks Donna. Have a wonderful blessed day. 🙏❤️🤗
Thank you, Judy! 🥰♥️
Do which ever you like and alternate them when you are tired of one style.
Love the sleight!!
Love the corner table!

Love all the items! You have such a great eye for things girl! Thanks for the lamp info i have one I need to make that way! Super easy! Have a blessed day! Love ya! Much love and hugs, Lori

Thank you! I’m blessed to have several back ups. 😉
In the early 90’s we would make cloths shades for the oil lamps, after concerting to electrical. This is something that has come back around.
That’s really cool. ☺️
Love the Ga pillow!! Go dawgs!❤
I figured someone would love it. It’s such a nice pillow. 😉
That Corner table is AMAZING. I would Old English it. The dark. That lamp conversion is awesome. And if it's clear and you want to add some sparkle down below. Thanks for the tips! I already told James I was gonna old English the table…😂. We think alike. 😉
Option 2 looks great!
👍💯💕
Thank you for showing how easy it is to convert an oil lamp. I am going to do that when I find one. I was so happy you got the urn and yes it is an ice bucket. The liner prevents it from sweating when filled with ice. Fabulous find!❤
Thank you! 🥰
Donna, I like option 1 of the scale. However you style it I know you'll love it. Your thrift haul was great as ever. You are one clever lady. 💗🥰
Thank you! I’m glad you liked the haul. 🥰
Thank you! I prefer option 2 myself. I would hate for the cookbook to get messed up. I love trying different ideas though. 🥰
Donna, you may want to hang on to the Avon bunny candle holders. I just researched and they are rare and worth way more than you paid! 👍❤️
I knew they were a rare find. 🥰
I like option 2 for the scale, book and chicken ❤
The items you find at your thrift stores are amazing. You are made for the job of having a booth ❤!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Option#1. The minute you turned it into a riser, it was perfect. This was a great video. Thanks! hugs🌸
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. 🥰
I love the Holy Family and look forward to their new paint refresh.
Thank you! 🥰
I like option 2, but put him in a little basket with straw. So cute. Love that table. Alao the Holy family. I know you will do a wonderful job on it. Love alk you do. And you always make it look easy. Hugs to Buster ❤
Thank you! 🥰
Hi Donna! I'm new to your channel (from the shout out by Thrilled Thrifter). I liked Option 1 the best. Love your style! ♥ And love your booth too!
Thank you for coming over and Welcome!! 🥰
Option 1 for me ~ get to see the book more ~ the solid light is less distracting 😊💕
Thank you! 🥰
Lots of great finds Donna. I always enjoy watching you flip things and I really look forward to seeing your flip of the Holy Family.
Thank you so much! 🥰
Good morning, Donna! I like the cookbook beside the scale better. What a fantastic haul! That sleigh is gorgeous! I used to have a large collection of oil lamps, I only kept a couple. I just might have to make them electric, so thank you for showing us that. See you in the next one!
Good morning! Thank you! It’s an easy way to enjoy the oil lamps without messing it up. 🥰

HI DONNA..BEAUTIFUL BOOTH..LOVE THE SLEIGH..
Hello. Thank you so much! 🥰
Good morning, I like option 1. You can swap out the options and use each one for a while. That’s the way I do things. Option 1 draws your eye to that whole side, but your house, your things. Love the haul too. The booth looks great and I’m glad you are selling a lot. Have a wonderful day Donna
Thank you! 🥰
Option 1 but with the ironstone instead ❤
