Yes, it would be an ACE, as Honda specifically designed that engine to have a single pin crank so it will sound like a H-D. H-D actually tried to sue for copyright infringement of the 'sound of an American V-Twin,' and lost lol
Time to look into your carburetors jetting . It should not pop on deceleration ! That is a sure sign of a lean situation . 🤔 Also , plug back in your speed sensor . 😐
Pop on decel is sign of rich. Not lean. Bike is healthy. I’ve never heard of oxygen igniting without a combustible. Do your research. You can literally hold a flame to oxygen and it will not ignite. Light a combustible on fire and apply oxygen,, it will almost explode.
With the right exhaust, the Shadow 750 can sound absolutely amazing. I've got V&H Short Shots on mine and it sounds like a proper beast. So yep, I'll give you the "pure sound" part of this video. But raw power? Don't get me wrong, I totally love my Shadow and it has adequate power, but my old Ninja 250 could run circles around this thing in terms of acceleration and top speed. The Shadow ain't no muscle bike.
If there is a problem with your muffler that came with this bike, then the only easy thing to do is to by a new muffler and attach it. There is really no way to make the muffler quieter once it has been damaged / modified.
Raw Power of 48 HP 😂 I own one of these, so i know there is no Power. And always quick Turns of the Right Hand to make sure its coming some Pops out of the Exhaust, just to cover the unsmooth running Engine😂
You need to rejet your carbs brother. I advanced my timing, dropped 3 teeth off my rear sprocket, bean boxed my air box and rejet my carbs. I have zero throttle lag. The throttle lag is intentional. In my service manual on page 55 or 56 (carb and choke adjustments) it calls for a bit of slack in the throttle. Yeah fix that. Honda was being conservative just like when they put 41 and 42 tooth rear sprockets on them. But they had to. The first shadow 700s were monsters. Harley sued the pants off of honda to change the shadow. I own one of the lawsuit models because it's a single pin crank shaft and harley riders genuinely can't tell it's not a harley
What I h8t3 about my Shadow is that like this one, it has the most boring handle bar cluster ever. It's like not even there, there's nothing there. It's on the tank where you don't even see it, and they use the most boring font ever. That's a weird model where the gas cap is right below the speedo. It looks worse on this bike because he's removed the rear view mirrors so there's even less...

Learn to ride. Shifting skills suck and I sure hope you only unplugged the speed sensor due to not having anything incriminating you for speeding. If any other reason your scummy for not tracking the mileage

That’s the magneto you’re hearing , a lot of Hondas have that sound to them
