42 Inches to the center of the call station.
Centered no more than 42 inches off the floor.
The buzz on the Thyssenkrupp is quieter than I remember from your first take of it.

I wasn’t that surprised that the Westy got modernized (it definitely needed the mod), but the call button needs to be adjusted to the ADA height)
I can’t see how that slid by.
Both the Montgomery Square Button call stations and car panels in the Independence Center Dillard’s aren’t ADA compliant; they’re a bit high off the ground.

@@DieselDucy I don't think older buildings have to comply with ADA unless they're being renovated.
@@neohistoryfan1014 Typically an elevator mod has to be compliant.
The ThyssenKrupp logo is somehow missing from the top of the car panel too. The elevator seems to run well, but I would say they didn’t do such a great job on this one with the ADA fails as well.
@@MatthewUrquhart77 they are now known as TKE. And from what I’ve seen on newer mods, they no longer put a logo on the panel
It runs fantastic. I just don’t see how that slid by though.
The Elmwood garage panel doesn’t have the logo either; it’s an older mod so it must have went missing.
I can't see how that elevator passed inspection with some of those call stations being that high

That is an ADA fail, i'd expect to see that on an older elevator, but now i guess they made a little bit of a mistake with where they decided to carve out a hole and put wiring in for the call station on those floors where the ADA fail is, such a shame it replaced something amazing. I’m thinking if it’s thyseenkrupp because the floor unicater looks like it a lot. What brand was it before when they got modernized.
The elevator on the other one is a lot better because of the amazing motor and the buttons look original to me. The other elevator was better than the modernized one. Shame nowadays on what they are doing to our elevators
