    You state that the single fault condition is with ground open. Fluke states that the single fault condition is when neutral is open. Can you provide clarification? (Electrical Safety Essentials - How to stay ahead of the curve; MD Publishing, Inc.; Q&A)

      Good question. opening the ground or opening the neutral are both conditions that qualify as a SFC. Now when testing ground leakage - you can not lift the ground ...the tester should not even let you do it. Since that is the path for measuring the leakage current. So your only choice is to open the neutral (or reverse the polarity) as your SFC. So in earth leakage you should open the neutral. But for all other leakage tests I recommend opening the ground as your SFC. Because lifting the ground almost always results in the highest leakage current. Obviously your companies SOPs should be developed for each device and some knowledge of how each device works is useful.

      Sorry for asking here. The device shows a current less than the rated one at a frequency above 150 Hz in point-to-point mode. In what mode can I measure current at a frequency of 1 kHz or higher as stated in the device description?
