- Experiencing Car Culture with Skid Society Car Vlogs; revisiting the automotive art form native to California; Lowriding. This video is the twelvth part of a Lowrider Cruise Event and Classic Car Show on Whittier Blvd in East Los Angeles, Southern California, right after the Los Angeles Lowrider Magazine Super Show 2022 took place.
This Whittier Blvd Lowrider Cruise Night was completely packed with clean rides and lowrider cars; everything from pristine examples of the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air to the 1965 Chevy Impala Lowrider equipped with hydraulics. Lady Lowriders were out with their clean rides, and Classic cars were cruising three wheel motion together as Whittier Blvd in East Los Angeles was taken over by Lowriders! Custom lowrider paint jobs were on display and there were lowrider cars hopping and classic cars cruising! A pair of Lowriders from Dukes Car Club all the way in Miami, Florida came out to cruise Whittier Blvd after the Lowrider Magazine Super Show, even lowering the car onto the scrape blocks to make sparks fly from the Lowrider Scraping! A lot of cars were hitting switches and lowriders hopping, as Lowrider Cars were Cruising after the 2022 Los Angeles Lowrider Super Show which had just taken place at the Long Beach convention center. Celebrating Chicano Culture with Lowriders and clean Classic Cars cruising Whittier Blvd, in East LA, commonly known as "The mecca of Lowriding". It felt like the boulevard was way more packed than usual, most likely due to the Lowrider Magazine Super Show 2022 being in town, with Lowrider fans, classic car enthusiasts and custom car owners coming from other states and countries to witness the Lowrider Cars and Classic Cars cruising the boulevard! Lowriders History, California, Texas, New Mexico. In the 30s & 40s Zoot- Suiters, Pachucos, Mexicans Started Customizing their Rides Called Bonbas (Bomb) Cars, modifying Suspension Low, nice paint & wheels tires Firmes different from stock, From Los Angeles, and post-WWII era of the 1940s, Zoot-suiters Pachucos,custom bomb, as time went on. In any case, lowriders cropped up in these States, Cities (areas) during the post-WWII era of the 1940s and 50s. They were particularly popular amongst young Mexicans, who adopted the art of rolling “low and slow” (bajito y suavecito in Spanish) 1958, California Vehicle Code 24008 basically outlawed lowriding. The new law made it illegal for any part of a car to be below the bottoms of its rims. However, in 1959, a customizer named Ron Aguirre found a way to bypass this law. He took the invention of hydraulics. Quieted,Silent the law, and police. Much, Love, Respect to Asian,Countries, (Japanese) Bothers, & Sisters, for Embracing our, Lifestyle, Culture.LOWRIDERS, Dressing Like Chicano s & Chicana's, Cholos, & Cholas, MEXICAN, in Los Angeles CALIFORNIA.

Cool looking low riders,,the painting and detailing on these cars cost quite a bit ,, my favorite color is blue,,I use to cruise around in an old t ,bird and a 64chevy Bel-Air ,,back in the day ,, Ontario calif and Riverside Friday and Saturday nights ,,was young then ,had a lot of fun with my homies ,,bumping it,,so bumping baby and 50,s song,s ,oh yeah
