Imagine being an actual patient of SRPs. I'd make up reasons just to get seen by him so I could hear him talk to me and just relax 😅 Keep up the good work dude. (I subscribed to your channel a month or so back and have not been disappointed. Your ASMR is truly amazing! )
I used to watch Dmitri on his channel MassageASMR. He stopped making videos for a while and that's when I found SRP. I've never needed another ASMR channel since and that was over 4 years ago🔥 SRP is the G.O.A.T.! 🐐
You’re my hero SRP. You help me more than you know. I have extreme insomnia, anxiety, and depression. As well as minor PTSD. You help me with all of it. Thank you so much.
this video really hits home, thank you! i had a tragic accident, and my retina was detatched from my eye. and my eye doctor at the time did a very lousy job. and he had diagnosed me with a “genetic lazy eye” when im reality, my retina was off. took 3 years ti get a second opinion. now im blind in that eye. and it has changed so much, such as what jobs i can and cant do.
This was so accurate!! It was so nice cause I love the lights but the fact that I understood all the procedures and knew the drugs made me really excited (I'm studying optics and optometry). The hush tone was really relaxing too, it was truly a nice video.
Sem dúvidas essa é sua melhor versão de ASMR. Como oftalmologista, você é o melhor do YT. Parabéns pelo ótimo trabalho! Aqui no Brasil, ficamos muito satisfeitos e relaxados com seus vídeos.
I do have floaters actually! Especially when I have bee sick with covid. I'd seen them all the time not just on bright days. Fascinating to get a proper examination for them via this video. You teach us so much while we relax.
Whew this one brought me back to all my eye exams as a kid/adolescent (myopia) where I had to get my pupils dilated. I hated how much those drops burned at first. The numbing drops definitely burned worse. This was a fun trip to my last, but more relaxing and tingly. 10/10
i had the same sort of tests with drops and i can definitely agree that the numbing drops hurt awfully, but all of the tests i did were super fun and relaxing, which definitely helped kid me to find things less stressful
hey srp i really liked that video where you do a general exam and throughout the exams you find the anomalies and give us the results dunno how hard it is to make one of these, but i would love to see that again
Is that a 2001 A Space Odyssey reference/easter egg I spot there on the Snellen chart? Absolute gems of videos! Thank you so much those calming moments…
just wanna say much respect to you❤ for making videos always, in this video i feel like you have already been worn out from your day and looks like you were exhausted but yet you put alot of effort for making the video..😅 i may be wrong but i felt that way.
1)what a way you’ve come from your early days. While they were still excellent videos they are so much more polished and relaxed. 2)I nominate you for the new 007 😂
As someone who works at Specsavers that was very accurate!!! I work on clinic so I would ask the questions like "Have you got a family history of Glaucoma?" or "Are you Diabetic?" and "Do you receive any benefits?" and if you said yes to one of them you get your standard eye test for free. Then I would take a pic at the back of the eye and check the pressure of the eye with a few puffs of air! the numbers I see a lot are between 12 and 18 but ive seen a few like 25 or 8!!
For free? In the US if you had glaucoma or diabetes they'd probably charge you extra because they would have to spend more than the minimum possible time on you.
@@F0XD1Eyes it’s free if you have a glaucoma or family history of glaucoma or if you have diabetes. The paid eye tests aren’t even expensive either maybe $20 most in your currency
About a year ago I had a retinal bleed - it was terrifying! Fortunately I live near an eye hospital and they were fantastic - after a lot of careful examination they decided there was no permanent damage, and my vision is much better now.
I enjoy these specific videos a lot! I have a very rare condition called "morning glory optic disk anomaly" and after seeing a top specialist since I was a baby I am clear to go at this point with regular eye exams. Its always funny to hear the interns get called in to take a peek 😂
Hey! I’m a Glaucoma specialist and i just officially started at a new practice, i was wondering if you saw an ophthalmologist, neuro-ophthalmologist, or neurologist for this. Possibly all 3 but, wondering if they ever had you get CT scans or MRIs for this?
I had this exact thing last year, but it had also started to detach. Had to have a scleral buckle fitted with cryo to reattach the retina. Less than 24 hours from seeing the optician to having surgery to repair it.
Okay, so i love watching your videos, and i have a genuine question, so i am worried that i can't really see out of my left eye. I can still see it just that sometimes i feel like I can't see anything
It's a shame that insurance only covers one eye exam a year in the US. My previous doctor retired, but he always got me when he was dictating notes during the exam.
Thank you, yes, I have been experiencing both the flashes, and floaters. Thankfully, the tests showed no torn retina. So I can just relax and nap now.
I did this based on your suggestion
@@SRPASMRTalk about helping your community!😄 Thanks for the sleep SRP!🫡
They all float down here … 🤡
Here I am thinking flashes and floaters are just a part of getting older. Had no idea it could be a torn retina! Calling the eye doc asap!
@@sarahp5674well what was it??
This just made me remember when I was a kid I use to think I was special because I'd see floaters every now and then and think they were molecules
Monsters Inside Me has had a few people that had them and they actually turned out to be worms! So you never know 😉😅
back to the old school SRP love it!!!
True to my roots
I respect the calm manner you use to advise of the retinal tear and need to go to hospital. As always, love your videos.

One of the best out there
Whispering, typing, jacket sounds, light triggers.. perfect. Lovely set up and lighting.
Glad you liked the new office setting

Thanks my friend
Yes for me also. Did you also try to wipe the white dot on your screen?
This seriously makes me want to travel to the UK, just to get my eyes checked by the goat.

I live in the same town and really want to know where he is for an eye appointment!! 😂😂
Wait I’m new to this channel. IS HE A DOCTOR IRL?!
@whotfknowslmao oh wow that’s so cool! Thank you so much for answering ❤️❤️

You should be compensated for that lousy doctor;(
I read that as flashers 🙈 and was like "that's very specific" 😂😂

I start a new job tomorrow and was having trouble relaxing enough to fall asleep. As always, you helped alleviate the anxiousness immediately. :)

Amazing video! Thank you for making this, especially since I have school tomorrow morning. This will help me sleep amazingly!😁
The term ‘torn retina’ gives me the wrong kind of shiver but I still enjoyed this.

Is the tiny white speck on the screen really there, or am I needing an eye exam? 😅
it's the reflection of the light below the eye chart, i noticed it after he accidentally covered it by getting closer to the camera
Your eye exams are the best! Thank you as always! 💜👁️😴
Love when you do light triggers!
SRP as someone with marfans syndrome you made me snap out of the relaxation for a second there lmao i did not expect someone to know about it

Can you do a video of lights and eye movement? Preferably with instructions too. I absolutely love your videos and have been watching for awhile now!
Are you actually an eye doctor outside of your roleplays? Wish you a blessed day :-)
Yes, he is.
You truly shine with a strong beard brother.
Great video Doc
As soon as you broke out the slit lamp, I was putty. 😴🛌
I slept well thank you
Wonderful
Bud, you got a floater in this video. Small white dot just right of center. I thought my phone had something wrong with it…
Thanks.
Fully aware of the reflection bud
This is all well and good, but what do i do about floshers and flatters?
Going home with the pupil dilation is such a weird sensation 😂
If only I could be seen by doctors as often as I am seen by SRP

oof that light is so good 👀
Do you guys use Nextech in your clinic?

hello srp, i enjoy your videos a lot, can you do another table tennis video?🙏🙏🙏🙏
Okay, so i love watching your videos, and i have a genuine question, so i am worried that i can't really see out of my left eye. I can still see it just that sometimes i feel like I can't see anything
Gorgeous
I have lots of floaters so it’s probably time to go see my eye doctor.
Oh man cant wait to get home lol
Ouch, that gotta hurt!
All painless, yet treated with the utmost concern
Can you do an Oasis Reunion video? Go through your owned albums and read some classic headlines of their antics?
"Hello there”...... and we back

It's a shame that insurance only covers one eye exam a year in the US. My previous doctor retired, but he always got me when he was dictating notes during the exam.
After watching this video I have decided to buy a monocle, just for the looks lol
