Greetings from Puerto Rico. I grow geraniums as a “winter/spring” annual. Here the temperature varies little year round. We have two main periods. The warm season from November to April with temperatures between 83°F to 65° F with drier weather. This is the period most favorable for growing plants, the mild to cool nights encourage to grow beautifully. The other period from May to October is the hot season or “summer” with temperatures between 92°F and 73°F . It is very humid and rainy. Only tropical plants and heat tolerant annuals can be grown successfully during this period. This is for my location about 15 miles from the coast and 330 feet in altitude. There are places at higher altitudes where the temperature is cooler and really a gardeners paradise (spring like temperatures year round). I grow geraniums from seed every year because they die in July from the heat. The best variety I have tried so far is the Maverick series particularly Maverick Scarlet with is very heat tolerant, tolerant to our winter heat that is. Sometimes I take a few healthy plants in June and keep them at night in my room (with air conditioning) until late October, this way I am able to carry them through the summer months. I grow them in balconies in morning sun. I can only grow them in full sunlight from December to March. It is very true, geraniums like to be “pot bound”, and in a very well draining soil. I fertilize them daily with a weak solution of a mixture of a high phosphorus and fish fertilizer solution to which I add a few drops of Superthrive which is a vitamin/ plant hormone solution which works wonders in plants. I give them a weekly “flush” with plain water to avoid the building up of salts. I use this in all potted plants. Your channel has inspired me to experiment with other types of annuals which are generally regarded to be almost impossible to grow here. While my “winters” are not as cool as in Kolkata, maybe plants will adapt and grow. I lived in Europe for a while and the plants you grow are commonplace there. I always have wanted to try my luck growing them here. A big challenge. One of the greatest joys of gardening is to experiment and find out new things and you have sparked that in me. Thank you again for your channel, it is really inspiring. Have a wonderful, blessed day!!

My geranium leaves turning yellow and not showing growth, new leaves getting brown
Because of weather i think,, you can plant new plants next season
Why my geranium's new leaves are yellow???
It's because of the weather maybe, protect from extreme heat and don't overwater
@@PabloBhattacharjeeWhat do you define as “extreme” heat?
More than 38°c
Nice video!
