कांग्रेस पार्टी को एक और बड़ा झटका लगा है. इंदौर लोकसभा सीट से पार्टी उम्मीदवार अक्षय कांति बम ने सोमवार को नाम वापस ले लिया. इंदौर लोकसभा के तहत नाम वापस लेने की तारीख 29 अप्रैल थी. उन्होंने इंदौर चुनाव अधिकारी से मिलकर नाम वापस लिया. ऐसा बताया गया कि उन्हें टिकट देने पर लोकल नेताओं ने विरोध किया था.
अक्षय बम का एक फोटो मध्य प्रदेश सरकार में मंत्री और बीजेपी महासचिव कैलाश विजयवर्गीय के साथ सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ है. कैलाश विजयवर्गीय ने सोशल मीडिया पर इस तस्वीर के साथ लिखा, "इंदौर लोकसभा से कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार अक्षय कांति बम का प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा, मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव और प्रदेश अध्यक्ष वीडी शर्मा की लीडरशीप में बीजेपी में आपका स्वागत है.".
