A story expansion titled Bloodline is included in the Season Pass and features the return of Aiden Pearce (now 55, as per sources and gameplay footage leaked, which sets the story in London, 2029), the protagonist of the first Watch Dogs, and Wrench (now in mid-30s, as he was born in the mid-1990s), a main character from Watch Dogs 2, who will also be playable in the main campaign and the online mode.
Watch Dogs: Legion is an action-adventure game published by Ubisoft and developed by its Toronto studio. As the third instalment in the Watch Dogs series, it is the sequel to Watch Dogs 2. The game is set within a fictionalised representation of London, designed as an open world, and is playable from a third-person perspective. It features the ability to control multiple characters that can be recruited across the game's setting and who can be permanently lost during the course of a playthrough. The game will also feature a cooperative multiplayer that will allow up to four players to work together. It is due to be released for Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles, as well as Stadia. Legion was originally due for March 2020 but has since been delayed to an unspecified date.
The game's story focuses on the efforts of the London branch of hacker group DedSec in combating an authoritarian regime that has taken control of the United Kingdom, thanks to the advanced surveillance system known as ctOS. To assist in this, DedSec recruits allies from across the city in order to liberate the city as a resistance force. Each character in the game will have their own background and skillset and provide a more dynamic influence on the game's narrative as the story progresses.
Watch Dogs: Legion is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. The game is set within an open world, fictionalised representation of near future London, which will encompass notable landmarks, boroughs, and cultural styles of the city. The game's setting takes place within a London that has become a surveillance state. Personal liberties have been vastly limited, and citizens are constantly monitored in their activities by Albion, a private security company that acts as the city's law enforcement. The player will have the ability to navigate the city either by foot, using vehicles, or fast-travelling via the city's Underground stations. Unlike the previous games in the series which focused on the use of a single protagonist to drive the story's narrative, Legion features the ability to control multiple characters within the game's setting. Each of these characters can be recruited through a unique mission, though this depends on their standing with DedSec; for example, a character who the hacker group helps out will be in favour of aiding them when asked and completing their recruitment mission, whereas a character whose family member was accidentally killed by a DedSec member will not tolerate the group and likely refuse to join. - เกม
The team who made this dlc should make the next watch dogs, all of it, and should be provided with whatever resources they need in order to do it.

I agree, I think the DLC's story is a lot better than the main story. This DLC shows that there are so much better things this game could do with the amount of content it has.
And they need to bring Aiden back, and make Jackson a playable character.

I feel like if they are the same people who made this deal say they should be the same ones who should bring back the original team of deadsec which are you know Marcus Josh T-Bone and sitara that way you have two more members like Aiden and Jackson and then what you can do is go back to your roots whether it's watch dogs 1 where's more grounded or watch dogs 2 basically make a game that actually is good and not just there for cash grab like Ubisoft does
I love how horrifying this part was because Aiden's always been shown as that stone cold, guilt ridden vigilante, but now we get to ACTUALLY see it inside his head, see how much of a toll it's truly taken on him.

All the digital trips in WD1 is actually a representation of Aiden's psyche. In Alone for example, it's basically a representation of Aiden's guilt.
All Aiden ever wanted was to redeem himself, maybe he started it after Watch Dogs 1, and his road to that journey ended in Watch Dogs 3. Hopefully, he can see Nicky again.
Jesus dude, when I played this during the night I legit couldnt help but stay outside in the backyard during the Lena section. It really goes to show how much Lena has been haunting Aiden and I feel for him. It really puts WD1 into a whole added perspective.
This DLC actually contradicts all of the WD1 character development, so it’s stupid.
At the end of WD1, Aiden says “I don’t look back anymore. I don’t regret. I look forward. Everything is connected and I’ll use that to expose, to protect, and if necessary- to punish.”
This DLC completely missed the point of the first game.

@@dogestranding5047 Just because you move on from trauma doesn't mean it gets removed from your brain, it's still there just waiting to be brought out at some point. This may be that moment, as when you go into a trauma based incident or a coma state, your memories flood back, and since the Lena revenge period of his life took up roughly 5-7 years of his life, plus the coma period, that's probably why it was so prominent.
Another piece of symbolism is the locked front door, meaning that to access the memory you needed to find another way in

Adien's words to Wrench when he came to retrieve the Bridge from him starts to make sense when you take it all in.

Now that I have played Bloodlines, I can't help but notice how said digital trip was almost a foreshadow of this expansion - Aiden is tormented by Lena's death, believes that his sister Nicky is still mad at him for it, and feels he needs to be punished for his actions while fighting off robots on the surface.
I'm not a horror person and this isn't necessarily scary but I was still deeply disturbed by this entire sequence

In Aiden's defense half of those people he killed were criminals & other killers too. Like the saying goes, you keep fighting monsters and you'll end up becoming one yourself. In Aiden's case that's exactly what happened.

I gotta say:Both the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star song and the section right before the stairs that leads to the Crash Site makes you feel like that when Aiden’s absolutely by himself, said parts, alongside the moment of Lena’s death, would make him cry, in such a way, that sobbing would be very soft, meanwhile, his tears are basically Niagra Falls (sorry for the joke, if it seemed inappropiate to the circumstances), and regarding the section prior to the stairs, that laugh is so tragic (more so than haunting), that if I listened to it any longer, I might have legitimately cried

I have yet to play WD1, and I'm currently playing Bloodline, after doing like half of a missions in the actual campaign. THIS part was by far the scariest in the game so far. Props to whoever made this happen.
Took me through a trip, and then the 'never-ending' hallway part they had was really really cool.

Man, I played wd1 years ago and everything from Aiden's story combined to cold environment of the game was just perfect. Bloodline does an okay job with his character but personally you just have to pay wd1

Lena started telling jackson to count to 10 and play hide and seek it was getting scary so I had to make sure im not getting jumpscared
So, what happened to Aiden after this? I mean we saw him 'bury the Vigilante', but he is still helping Dedsec afterwords, especially if you don't do the side missions. I really want an explanation of why after Jackson basically helped Aiden get closure, Aiden still is willing to kill and do all the stuff like nothing happened.
Maybe helping dedsec in London is Aiden's 'one last job'?
I think he just changed his personality from watch dogs since he is a little nicer

My take on this scene was Aiden burying his grief, his rage, finally washing all the blood of his hands and realizing it wasn’t his faiult.

I would say that…me personally. Aiden DID bury “The Chicago Vigilante”. He’s not that guy anymore.
Him helping DEDSEC in Legion? (I do think him helping them is canon) That’s him opening up to being a part of a team, to surround himself with people he now cares about, along with him being fine with taking a backseat to some of the action.
He’s no longer The Fox, he’s now just Aiden Pearce, someone who’s isn’t fighting for himself and killing people out of revenge anymore.
Now, he’s only fighting for the people.
In Legion, despite Bagley saying “The Fox” is here when Aiden’s unlocked, that’s the only mention we hear about it. Everyone, including the bosses, call him DEDSEC, just like everyone else.
Aiden Pearce is now a member of DEDSEC and protector of the people. Hell, we even see him SMILING more! This is the most emotion we’ve ever seen out of Aiden.
Bloodline told him that he’s done being The Fox and being known ONLY as The Fox and to stop torturing himself over the past. All Jackson wants Aiden to do is just be there more often and to let go of Lena’s death.
Which he did, he’s now only fighting for the people and he’s finally proud of himself.
That right there, is perfect for Aiden’s character.
They really mentioning PT in Watch Dogs? Geez, even Ubisoft wants PT to be released🐱

Aiden left a train of dead bodies across Chicago to punish everyone responsible for Lena's death. But the one person he blames the most, he punishes every day sense the day she dies and thats himself. He was the one driving the car. It was his actions that caused that man to try to kill him while they were in the car. It's easy to believe that if it weren't for him, Lena would still be alive.

I like how they used the Kojima Silent Hill as not only a nod, but for Aiden's insanity and trauma...Plus this shows that Ubisoft can make a horror game if they wanted to.

As cool as this concept was, I think it was too much sci-fi for the franchise. I'm aware it takes place in the same universe as AC but this is just a bit too absurd for a Watch Dogs plot.

The Bloodline DLC (This game were watching) Takes place before the main game.
At the beginning of the story we learn from the AI who’s name I forgot, that after the London monuments were Bombed Deadsec went quiet for 2 months.
Bloodline takes place during those 2 months of Silence from Deadsec.
This whole section was so lame
It gave some closure if you played Watch Dogs 1.
