Excellent quality! I love the 747's and MD-80's you have shot. DFW is such a vast airport with airplanes departing and arriving from each direction on the 8 runways that airport has. I love spotting/watching spotting video's at vast airport's like DFW.
After it lands, passengers get off and all the necessities are finished, the Qantas 747 always sits away from the gate area at Terminal D. It lands from Sydney around 1:14pm and doesn't depart for Brisbane until 10:00pm that same evening.
DFW is a really good and beautiful airport. Yes i know it looks boring but this was made 3 years ago and now its so pretty!! DFW its self is outstanding!
Enjoy - the skylink shuttle does a loop around the entire airport and you can hop on and off as you please. It runs about every minute so with two hours you should be able to see it all.
All of the American MD's are MD-80's, although the engines look larger from certain photographic angles, American doesn't operate any MD-90s. Even the Delta MD was an MD-80.
Sweet footage man!! I'll be at DFW this Friday I also have a 2 hours layover!! Is there and special spots I should go to!!! If so can u inbox me them!!! :)
Where were you spotting from? I have been trying to find a good spot for awhile but cant seem to find the perfect locations for landings and take offs.
DFW Is my main hub, awesome airport. Quantas. And British Airways bring their A380s over there, just were not showcased on this video If you come in on their north entrance of the airport, when driving, you might be lucky enough to see some Quantas A380s and some Other big airlines and planes. American Airlines has their Hub here, aswell. If you go to terminal A, to check in, they have flagship check-in there. Everyone is nice, GREAT AIRPORT!
The Skylink is 'inside' security. If you are a 'ticketed' passenger, you can access/ride the Skylink from 2 entrances at all 5 terminals, and travel completely around the entire DFW Airport.
Yes, I would think so. Many big airliners, American Airlines, ect., have been ordering dozens upon dozens of airbus a319-a330's. But remember that American does that have a380's, I'm still questioning that myself. But Airbus is dominating right now and the a350 is out now, boy, this will be a long year.
Nowadays it’s rare to see “With Old AA Livery” 😢 I am Lucky I flew With it
Awesome footage! Really enjoyed the video!

Nice video! You got that classic AA livery 777 just in time, since I think they've repainted all of them by now.
The AA 777s painted in the new livery makes them look bigger. Don't ask me why.

Gorgeous quality. Subbed!
Great use of your layover time! And a fantastic job with the video, love the big birds and the small ones.
Love this airline! Both liveries are fantastic! Nice work!
Long live the md- 80's :) beautiful aircraft!
What a great video! Enjoyed it big time.
Good thing they still have the MD-80s cause thos are old but they make them feel good as new
That is a smartest way to waste time before your flight!!! I'll do that next time. And thanks for uploading this vid, its really cool!!
That new Livery is lovely!
Ahh...the familiar sound of the sky train, a great way for the kids to see the airport while you wait for your flight.
Great job! This is one of my favorite videos! LIKED!
Nice job! I miss the old AA livery... I'm guessing you're not too fond of the new one either?
love that Qantas! 6:36
Awesome video! Love DFW and Mad Dog 80's. Subscribed!
nice to see a video of AA's home :)

DFW is a dive compared to O'Hare. I'm not a fan.
Love the video. Keep it coming.
Love those Silver Birds!!

Great video man, Mark here in Boston.
I prefer the new AA livery. The old one had what looked like a Dutch flag going around it. It never really said America to me. Nice video.
Awesome video man!!
Looks life someone took a few joyrides on the tram x)
Awesome video!!!
Awesome! Great Job!
Super Awesome!!!! Great video!!
I disagree, I think the new livery is quite gorgeous, actually. Great footage!
I miss the days of md-80s and AA old livery!!!
7:09 is Flagship Tulsa, an MD-80 dedicated to the TUL maintenance team

Great cool !
Nice video lots of AA
Great 777. Subscribed
9:50 saw the exact same thing in July 2012!! Right over Gate A34 with a 763 parked...
At around the 5 minute mark, when that plane comes in to land, in the background at one point, there is a UPS plane!
Sweet footage man!! I'll be at DFW this Friday I also have a 2 hours layover!! Is there and special spots I should go to!!! If so can u inbox me them!!! :)

I didn't realize how popular the MD80 is.
awesome :)
Very nice
Really nice job! Subscribed :)
why are the engines at the back off the plane +- 5 degree down ??
I have a question... why was that Qantas 744 parked across form terminal D?
Welcome to the club. For me, the fuselage is okay, it's tolerable, but that tail is just HORRIBLE...
Great sound. I liked and subed.
Heather stubbs e
nice and how do you get on the skylink

I forget now but think it was for a sports team.
Is that American Eagle aircraft at 10:48 a CRJ-200?
The new scheme doesn't hold a candle to the one it replaces. The new one has an insanely bold tail and a blah fuselage.
Niiiiiiiiiiiice!
American has their hub at Dallas/Ft. Worth. thats y u saw a lot of them
AA rules!
you living large :) !
when are they going to start repainting the MD-80s ???
Sean Thomas never, they are retiring them
Most of them are American Airlines 1:29
QF7 and QF8 I think, QF7 Comes straight from Sydney and QF8 Goes to Sydney Via Brisbane. :D
Not anymore
Love the video...just not feeling the new AA livery!
Cool Video! AA is based in Dallas and the biggest user of DFW Airport. Can anyone tell me which airline was spotted around 8:24 during the video?
Omni Air International
Thanks for your response!
NICE =)
Pause at 8:46, you can see three aircraft wearing the new AA livery!
I really prefer the new colors of AA.
Mélanie Roussel i like the old polished
the new one is really bland and boring
new livery appears, kid barfs
MD 80 or DC 9 the best airplanes for maintenance.
Had you just arrived at DFW?
Did anyone see the American eagle in new livery
where were you going?
Cool....
What was he Lufthansa plane
Please look at the info.
Layover?
invasion of the MD-80s
I know right? UpAndLeave
i really like 737's winglet..
Nikon D3100 with an 18-300
4:21 new livery on the tramack
does anyone ever check the oil on these planes
I wish I was there
At 11:39 are two people making around 30 grand/ year #crashpads #noroomforfinancialleasure
sad but true.
since when has american had airbuses? did it have to do with the US air merger?
Yes, I would think so. Many big airliners, American Airlines, ect., have been ordering dozens upon dozens of airbus a319-a330's. But remember that American does that have a380's, I'm still questioning that myself. But Airbus is dominating right now and the a350 is out now, boy, this will be a long year.
Domenic Lavigna American has had Airbus' since the early 90's.
Domenic Lavigna yes it did
