FYI - Glue the shell pieces under the mermaid using this technique. Place a bit of E6000 glue and a dot of hot glue next to the E6000. Hot glue will not hold up over time hence the falling apart of the shells, but it will hold the repair in place while the long term super hold E6000 glue dries. I have learned that trick creating my mixed media sculptures. Also you should carry a little notebook to note the glass cabinet number and what it is you want to look at in each cabinet. I use this technique at auctions too, but usually draw out the tables and their locations on a 9" x 11" copy paper. Yes, it is more work, but pays off when you win the items! :)

I love the old plushes too Misty. I had a panda back in the sixties. One leg was a little longer than the other one. Things didn’t have to be perfect back then. We loved them anyway and appreciated what toys we had and we didn’t throw them out. Thank you for rescuing them. 🥰
I live in New Orleans now, but when I lived on the bayou, there was a big. bull gator that lived behind my house. I called him Lester haha. I'm glad you got that gator. They need love too ❤❤❤😊 I adore the old dolls too

I don’t understand why some people give away school or family pictures (unless they are like antique black and white pics with collectible/historical value.) I get that you clearly don’t want them any more for whatever reason and stores sell them for the frame. But why does nobody take the picture out before giving it away? If you don’t want the photo, take it out and throw it away or burn it or something! Don’t let a stranger buy your child or sibling or ex-husband for a dollar… 🤦🏼♀️
