I hear you squawking girl. I live on a small acreage where the closest neighbor is 1/2 mile away. It is so peaceful. I work in the medical field and people that I deal with are not always in a good place. Going home to the peace and quiet with my yarn is so nice.
Hi Jennifer! You rang a bell with me today. I lost my hubby of almost 55 years in June. After moving to a smaller apt I have boxes and boxes of his "misc papers" to go through. My daughter and son-in-law moved me and I told her when I die she has my blessing to not think twice but bag up everything i own and dump it all in the trash!! Everything!
When I put Yarns together for a project, I usually put a copy of the pattern in the bag with the yarn I plan to use along with my notion box (stitch markers, scissors, tape measure and wool needles). I reuse mint tins and ice breaker boxes for notions boxes, they are small enough to carry in my project bag or in my purse. I've also used them to make mini first aid kits to hand out when I volunteer at one of the food pantries in my area.
Jennifer you are amazing love watching all your videos. I can relate to your journeys. My beloved past away in March💔 Your tutorials storys and feelings bring me such comfort. Love you Jennifer 🦋💙
Hi Jennifer. I love these hang out videos !!!! I sit and watch and listen while I am working on a W.I.P. and it feels like I'm hanging with an old friend .
I just discovered this channel & that sounds like a great idea. My current WIP is a plaid poncho worked in griddle stitch. I'm in NY state & I figure it'll be a nice transition piece for fall before I have to get my winter coat out.
Good morning Jennifer and little man 🤗 Cleaning in circles, I've done that and sometimes still do🤪 I use to put yarn in project bags and then would forget what I was going to make. So, now I put the pattern or a piece of paper of what I want to make in the bag. When I get overwhelmed with stuff all over, I empty the bags or baskets and put everything away. I wish I had more room in my house 🤷🏼♀️ Putting history and nature together would be nice. Taking the train to Washington D.C. would be great! Once a month or maybe even twice a month, field trips would be awesome! Wishing you a beautiful blessed day!🙏🏻🥰🤗💖 I will be watching you late tomorrow as my son is having his surgery tomorrow morning 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 but, I will watch you 😊
These videos are great, its like sitting down with a dear friend and visiting. Your tops are so cute. I have one of those sheds, roof is barn shaped, the door is on the side and it has a loft on both sides. It was a repo, the floor was a stained so I put laminated flooring down. I use it for storage, I've put shelving and cabinets in it. Its about 12 x 10 and plan on running electric under ground to it.
I love your videos because I feel like we’re just sitting together having a chat about life. You have such a beautiful personality 🫶🏻 p.s. those dots hooks are my favorite too
Hi Jen, Good for you taking a class to learn cursive. I’m European, and cursive is a normal thing here. Even those who’ve stopped using it can still read it. For fun I’ve moved on to teaching myself simple calligraphy and even though I don’t take out my pens a lot, I do use them for birthday cards and such. Cursive is… I guess it’s the informal version. May I offer a tip? When practicing cursive on paper, use ordinary graphite pencils and refrain from using paper that is too smooth. Cheap printer paper or cheap lined notebook paper is a good option. The reason I’m advising basic pencils and paper is because when forming the letters and the connections between them, you need the ’bite’ the pencil has on the paper. The tip needs to glide smoothly but shouldn’t be to slippery, if that makes sense. It gives you control whilst simultaneously giving you a smooth ‘travel’ over the page. Just one thing: don’t go for a razor-sharp point either because it can dig into the page and snag. Once you’ve mastered pencil-on-paper, try felt tip pens or a fountain pen. Don’t , please DO NOT move to rollerballs or ballpoint pens. They’re either gritty or too slippery moving across the page. They’re for when cursive feels natural. Good luck and above all, try to have fun with it. Oh… and chalk on chalkboard is also a good medium to practice cursive. Same reason as pencil and paper. If whiteboard and whiteboard markers make cursive hard, go for surfaces and writing utensils that give you more ‘grip’.
I so clean in circles, and the same thing with projects and project bags. It gets old, but I still do it. Have fun with that. Hope you’re having a great day!!!❤❤
You my dear are never boring lol! What might help is to clean your room is to pick a corner and decide where you want the stuff to go, then put it there. Don't look at any other corners or shelves or walls until you completely do that corner. Now you have room to move, then pick another corner or spot and do it the same way. Might take a couple of days but it is less stressful. My son monitors me LOL I want to take everything down and clear it all off. He says lets take this area here and you tell me where to put the stuff that comes out of there. That helps, it always helps if you have someone working with you. Much love Jen, remember baby steps so you don't hurt that wrist or that ankle. Love you.
I really enjoy your videos where you just chat about anything and everything. You are so honest and upfront. You are so funny too, when you took that one hat off because you said it made you look like Sam Kinnison, I nearly spit my tea out.🤣
I'M LOVING THE VAMPIRE KNITTING CLUB!!! I'm on the second book - very relaxing and light series. After I'm done with a project, I get rid of the scraps, unless it's a solid color, and I have to have at least half of a skein left.
Good morning Jennifer - thanks for hanging out with us. Always a pleasure. Best wishes on your Office Project. I have so many projects that are similar! It is so darn overwhelming. So glad Little Man likes his new Happy Mail too. Take care. Blessings♥
Good morning as I was watching your video and little man was sitting in there for me he is well behaved and he’s so cute he’s going to be a heart breaker ❤😊 you and Mr Cinnamon are doing a good job 👏 ❤
Hi, totally get the piles everywhere. Like your version of Jayda’s halter top. Your videos are never boring. Enjoy spending time with you watching, listening, and working on WIP’s. 🧶🫂
I have always had trouble falling asleep. As a teenager, as an adult. All of it. But I take melatonin almost nightly and I just bought us a new mattress. I sleep so well! I sleep through the night. It is an awesome thing!
My youngest son also used to have really bad behaviour 1-3 days before he got sick & would also be very quiet when he was sick! He has autism & ADHD so I know exactly what you're talking about! He's now 33. I sometimes take Melatonin when sleep is just not happening which is common with my illnesses. I'd never thought to see if it helps our youngest son when he's struggling to sleep! I tend to avoid finishing projects as then it means I need to choose what to crochet next & I find that hard! It's definitely worth decluttering slowly before you move! We've moved a few times. As an ex-teacher I'd recommend having a day every week or 2 as a finishing off day & not planning too far in advance cos everything goes out of whack with sicknesses & other life stuff & then becomes frustrating & demoralising! Great idea to have field trips to local free educational stuff. I absolutely loved the planning at the start of each term! Enjoy! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Good Morning my beautiful Friend 😀 I about spit my coffee out Laughing when you said you looked like Sam Kinison LOL Aww Lucas was so sweetly excited when you were getting him his happy mail things, when you held up the gaming thing I could see his eyes scanning it very intently, it was just so cute! Like I've stated before, I LOVE the sit and chat videos!! Enjoy the rest of your day Jen! Love Hugs and Always Prayers!
Hello Jennifer, recently subscribed and happy I did. I relate to some of the same things you talk about. You’re such a joy to listen to and watch. Wishing you continued success and happiness for your future ❤️🧶
Girl I feel you so much!! I hope you are able to find a nice property that isn't too crazy expensive so you can live your house dream!. As a Va native traffic around here is crazy! I sat here while listen to your video and straightened my living room and organized my wips. Thanks for the company while I cleaned!
Hi Jennifer, im on overload as well with the organizing. My yarn toom has spilled in to my guest bedroom, or more like was a tidal wave LOL. The struggle is real.
There must be something in the air, I decided to clean up my yarn room and unbox a ton of yarn, so I had to purchase and assemble eight more cubicles 6-cube units and they have all been filled. This after making eight blankets for Christmas presents and I still have two walls of yarn. Yes I am blessed, thank you Lord. Oh I understand because now that I cleaned the yarn room I now need to clean my laundry/utility room along with my bedroom. Both those rooms were used for fall out from the organizing the yarn room. Oh and the fact that I live in my grandma's old house that was built in or around 1900, it has no closets to store anything in, is just adding to my problem ugh!!! Oh Jen I found 14 project bags containing half finished projects and now on some I can't even distinguish what stitch I was doing and some where I didn't leave a hook in, I don't know what size hook to use. I have a bag filled with squares to make a full size blanket but I need to put a round of the connecting yarn I'm going to use because each square is a different color and a different stitch, nthen when I started laying it out my OCD took over and I hate that there is nothing the same and the blanket is to crazy for me to get past that nothings matches to complete it. Oh yes Jen we all have our own type of CRAZY we have to deal with. LOL! Yes I think melatonin is a God sent. They also come in chewable which are less expense. God bless, be safe and stay well♥Love the new top, very cute. OMG Jen was your Mom and mine cloned?? My Mom is 87 and when she is sitting she can't sit still, I tease her about that all the time about not sitting still.
Good morning! Once again, thank you for the Vampire Knitting club series. There are only 15 books in Oxford but the concept moves to Cornwall in a spinoff. There’s also the Vampire Book Club set in Ireland and a series set in Somerset, England around witches and The Great British Baking Contest. I can tell you, in all honesty, they’re all excellent!
Hi Jennifer, after you mentioned the Vampire Knitting club books I went on Amazon and got kindle unlimited and have finished the series picked them up and read until finished. So not a lot of crochet has been happening as head in kindle reading. Enjoyed the series so thank you for the refernce.

Good morning sweet Jenn! I know what you mean about cleaning in circles but not getting anywhere. I, too, have yarn stored in project bags to work on but dont seem to get to working on them! I thought I was the only person who does that. I hope you can successfully sort your ADHD piles and get better organized. ❤❤❤
Happy Thurs morning...an office away from the house is an amazing idea friends of ours did that with a sea container...have to thank you for the vampire knitting club books they are fun..a nice read just to read without the brain having to engage too much...I'm off to re watch your in the closet series while I try to tackle the dishes🎉🎉
Hi Jen, love watching your chat videos, hope you and little man feel better soon. I've just finished the 1st book ofthe vampire knitting club books and starting book 2, love and hugs 🫶 🤗 🧶 🇬🇧
Our living room is in bad shape and have been in the process of getting it organized like you are your office. It is taking me quite a while because it also serves as my yarn room for my special yarns (3 18x24x24 bins, 3 18x24x12 and 2 normal size bins) and I keep wanting to reorder (play with) them. Much more fun than cleaning....😂
Hello from springhill Louisiana its good to see you 😊.i no how you feel my room here need a made over . living with my son and his family.yeah i am 69 years old and a widow i am getting slower and slow.i enjoying your video ❤ God Bless everyone ❤️🙏😊
I do this. I had a major clear out as we are moving soon fingers crosses. It took me pulling everything out making a huge mess and now i sort of have order. I can find everything or i know where everything is. It took time but now i have a clean slate it feels good. My problem is keeping it that way lol
I'm in a bedroom all day. I have to keep my legs up on the bed due to swelling. I have a wedge cousion to sit up and crochet the afghans I'm working on. Got a little 12 in. fan near me to keep cool. I would love to have separate yarn rooms especially like Nancy (Shez Got Yarn 2).
Yes I really missed it that Florida move is out. Yeah 👍 I so agree with you on property. It will be great for Little Man too. Big muscle.activity is so good for him. It would work wonders on our grandson.
Talking about your "do later" project bags, me too sis, me too 😊. I also have those bags with projects that needed a "time out" because they just weren't being cooperative 😅
I enjoy hanging out with you Jen I got to watch Cinnamon stitches I check every day to get my fix I'm in my chair 24 _7 so when I watch your video I put my tv watch some cooking channels and dream I'm cooking as well lol ❤
Jen I could not live in even a hamlet. My nearest neighbour is 1/4 mile away and that suits me just fine. If I want to sit on my deck drink coffee crochet in my night gown I do.A few years ago I lost my house to a fire and had to live in town while I dealt with insurance and got new house. I never sat outside I never opened my curtains. I had to have my dogs in kennel for 8 months. One of the worst periods of my life. Happy to be back on the farm.
Make your scraps into cakes and do scrappy projects.I made mine into afghans and two bath mats. I have a storage issue as well. I do not have a basement so my spare bedroom is my yarn guest room. I need to go through and purge.Good luck Jen. Hope Little Man feels better soon.
Good morning my friend, thanks for sharing. Lucas was so happy with his gifts. I enjoy all your videos, can’t wait til morning to find out the new yarn releases. See you then, good luck with your hoeing out. If you get it give me some tips, I need hoeing out myself. Have a good day, and Lucas, please help Mom. I know you will ! Love and Hugs to you all ❤🤗🙏
Good morning Jennifer and Little Man❤️🙏. Do hope you and your family have a blessed good day. Also hope Little Mn is feeling better and you too soon. Hugs and love, Sue M. Florida ❤️🙏🥰🦋😘😎❌⭕️
Hello Jennifer, sorry you’re not feeling good. Also sorry little man isn’t feeling well. I don’t like piles. I put things away. I find put it there now method keeps me from touching if twice. I have a donate box and trash bag. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
Im neuro spicy lol . I have those same piles. I know what’s in them too. I have heard them called doom piles. When i heard that. I was like yes 🙌. Myself, hubby and two out of three kids are spicy too. ❤ my youngest ( who is 25) reminds me so much of little man. He always wanted to be right by his momma too. Hugs to you jen. From one neuro spicy mama to another.
I get my bras from Torrid. They are also a plus size store. The Layne Bryant store near me closed, but there is a Torrid. I also purchase through their app.😊 They usually have good sales
I lived in the country for over 40 years and most people in the country will help when needed but usually stay and do their own things at home… will wave when out and about but I’m lucky I’ve moved to town but all my neighbors are great…. I have so much stuff in bags, bins and still more yarn… now I put the hook/needles, the pattern and yarn in the bag so I can grab and go…. My adhd makes it easy to be bored and start new projects so this year I am going to force myself to finish at least one project ha ha
Send yarn to me!!! LOL. I have been picking up people's scrap yarn and making things for our homeless. We live in Dalton Georgia and I homeschool both of our children you have no idea how blessed you are to have free museum stuff. Absolutely none of the museums near us in Tennessee or even in White county are free they don't even have free days. That's the one thing I miss about Illinois was that in Chicago all of the museums up there had free days especially for homeschool families.
I went to DC on my kids 8th grade trip and there is lots of free stuff to see. My fb picture is me in a helicopter in a military exhibit on the mall during that trip.
Good Morning 🤗 Hope you and Lucas get to feeling better. I’m so sorry you have such horrible neighbors. Know you are so ready to move. Lots of luck cleaning your room 😎🤗
I hear you squawking girl. I live on a small acreage where the closest neighbor is 1/2 mile away. It is so peaceful. I work in the medical field and people that I deal with are not always in a good place. Going home to the peace and quiet with my yarn is so nice.
Me too I have been I healthcare for over 25 years. I need my nonpeople time
Hi Jennifer!
Hi Jennifer, I am so glad you are working on your room. You rock I miss my Happy Place.
“Butt hats” and “Jack Wagons “ !! 😂 new favorite words! What a sweet boy to bring mama a drink !
“Cleaning in circles!” I feel like I do that all the time. 😅
Good morning Jennifer and little man 🤗
Cleaning in circles, I've done that and sometimes still do🤪
I use to put yarn in project bags and then would forget what I was going to make. So, now I put the pattern or a piece of paper of what I want to make in the bag. When I get overwhelmed with stuff all over, I empty the bags or baskets and put everything away. I wish I had more room in my house 🤷🏼♀️

I will be watching you late tomorrow as my son is having his surgery tomorrow morning 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 but, I will watch you 😊
Love your hair, especially the two colors. So glad to see your videos. . Hope you have a blessed day.
I'm actually enjoying going back to watch the older videos!! Glad it's helping ;)
You have such a beautiful personality 🫶🏻 p.s. those dots hooks are my favorite too
Hi Jen,
Good for you taking a class to learn cursive.
❤❤❤good morning, Jen....always love your videos...hope you and your family have a great day...😊😊😊

It is taking me quite a while because it also serves as my yarn room for my special yarns (3 18x24x24 bins, 3 18x24x12 and 2 normal size bins) and I keep wanting to reorder (play with) them. Much more fun than cleaning....😂
What a beautiful sweater
Hello from springhill Louisiana its good to see you 😊.i no how you feel my room
here need a made over . living with my son and his family.yeah i am 69 years old and a widow i am getting slower and slow.i enjoying your video ❤ God Bless everyone ❤️🙏😊
Piles are how I live! I am repiling myself today!!
Yeah 👍
I so agree with you on property. It will be great for Little Man too. Big muscle.activity is so good for him. It would work wonders on our grandson.
Girl I wear the shapermint bras hahaha. They are super comfy and they have racer back. I love that it smooths out my Hawaiian rolls on my back
I enjoy just hanging out with you 😊
Talking about your "do later" project bags, me too sis, me too 😊. I also have those bags with projects that needed a "time out" because they just weren't being cooperative 😅
Thanks for hanging and sharing your day! Just do it at your own pace.
I enjoy hanging out with you Jen I got to watch Cinnamon stitches I check every day to get my fix I'm in my chair 24 _7 so when I watch your video I put my tv watch some cooking channels and dream I'm cooking as well lol ❤
Jen, I was wondering what happened to the purple C2C, now I know. I’ve got bags of projects too! Have fun cleaning your room, you will get there 😊
Jen I could not live in even a hamlet.

Good morning, Jennifer🌞
Fabric is nothing like flashing a nipple! I do hoard piles too… things disappear for my hubby but I can visualize exactly where it was set last!
I get my bras from Torrid. They are also a plus size store. The Layne Bryant store near me closed, but there is a Torrid. I also purchase through their app.😊 They usually have good sales
The clasps on the torrid bras ( front close) are cheap plastic. And i break them. My daughter loves torrid bras though
Can't hardly wait to see your Halloween decorations 😊
Good Morning Jennifer 🌺🥰 from Maryland
Also have you thought about doing a collab with Jada on that shirt
I went to DC on my kids 8th grade trip and there is lots of free stuff to see. My fb picture is me in a helicopter in a military exhibit on the mall during that trip.
Feel better soon Lucas, little man,
I put the yarn in a bag and used to do that. Now I write the project on the label or add the pattern. Still working on the discipline this takes 😂
Good Morning 🤗 Hope you and Lucas get to feeling better. I’m so sorry you have such horrible neighbors. Know you are so ready to move. Lots of luck cleaning your room 😎🤗
That was my desk when i worked. Don't touch my desk! it may look a mess but i knew where everything was.
Hi, i'm working on youre shrug, its turning out really pretty, i use anti-pilling DK colors parrot ❤❤
🤣🤣🤣 "I want to kiss you right on the mouth!" 🤣🤣🤣
I say that to people all the time and it always surprises and cracks people up! 🤭🤭🤭
I love to watch you clean❤ " while I clean" move videos like this hehe
