PLEASE HELP ME GET HIS ATTENTION!!!! I’m trying to surprise my husband with a fishing trip with him and we are from corpus.. PLEASE REPLY TO ME!!! HIS BDAY IS NEXT MONTH! 🙏🏼
I don’t know how you do it, if I would’ve lost my only spoon, I would have left... no, you stayed, then broke your rod, and lost you’re bucktail, and still kept going. You’re a beast!
man awesome fishing i was womdering what kind of fish that was i caught one two days ago at jettys with mullet minnow great fight im glad i found out what it was a tarpon. it was August 25 when i caught it off nc sc jettys an sunset little river is this season for them ?
Matty Ice - man you aren't hanging around the right people then. I know how you feel. I had to change my surroundings, my own attitude, and the people around me. There's a ton of good people in the midwest, you just gotta change your view on it!
That positive attitude is why Thresh is the best. You keep that attitude you keep fishing through the hard times and your there when the fish is there. So inspirational such an amazing young man, I mean dude.
Catching a bunch of Reds up super shallow in Rockport. Thanks for turning us on to that wedgetail. I have been burning it and watching them cover like 10 yards and smoke it. Good stuff. Congrats on the TaRP!!!
Congrats on the big fish :D I'm not even fishing myself, but it's great watching these videos, because you are such a happy guy and I love how excited everytime you hook something up. Greetings from Germany! Anna
When the beat dropped when he was holding the tarpon 😂and the glitter effects had me dead , congrats i wanna catch one , and i thought because of the thumbnail it was like a rainbow fish but just a regular tarpon
Dude I was pumped for you on that tarpon. I felt the same way on my snook. Wasn’t expecting one either. Made the whole trip! That’s why we fish. Can’t beat that feeling. Keep making these videos, they’re awesome!!
I forgot to tell you I went to the coast 3 weeks ago and used a lot of tips you shared. Caught a 23 inch trout off a spoon at the pack. Thank you and keep doing what you do
Congratulations on finally catching that tarpon! Been hearing you talking about wanting to catch one forever now, glad you finally got it. Don’t get out much but couple weeks ago just a few keeper sheepers at Packery. Ran into you that day actually. Keep up the content. Tight lines!
Congrats on the tarpon and another great video! Your positivity and good attitude are inspiring to all! I lost count of the days I pushed through hurdle after hurdle and wound up having a great fishing trip. That’s what it’s about: dedication, perseverance, and respect for others and the sport. Best of luck to ya dude!
Hey my dude you and another youtube dude PK YI who's in my neck of the woods really kind of hooked me into fishing. For those of us who didn't grow up fishing it can be a bit difficult to get into, like the super basics can kind of differ from place to place. Anyway the fun you're having is contagious. Tight lines amigo thanks for the videos
Nice video. I'm in Kansas and we aren't catching very much right now. The weather has been CRAZY. But once we get some warmth, the Crappie will be off the hook!
Nothing makes my heart race harder than a tarpon on the other end of the line! Nice catch even if it was a small one - they're still the king of inshore game fish.
I absolutely love your channel man. I've been watching your vids for a long time and they just get better and better. Just went down to the jetties and thanks to your vids I had a really successfull day, the drive from San Antonio was definitely worth it, anyways, awesome tarpon, congrats and keep doing what you're doing man. Fav TH-camr for sure.
All I am catching rn is a cold. Spring in Ma hasn't arrived yet. I have to say Thresher I am amazed at how you stay so positive. I wish I could be that way. Great video.
Great video as always man and congrats on the tarpon. Here in the Florida panhandle we I'm catching sheepshead and mangrove snapper in the river on live shrimp. Also catching reds and trout on a popping cork on the flats.
Sweet video man. Enjoyed it completely. Haven't got a tarpon, snook or a gator trout. Biggest trout was 23 inches. Plan on moving to Corpus soon though, so hopefully that'll change. Also, always watch the video to the end.
Watched your video and thought it was great with pretty good editing too. I have fished all over Corpus and Port A ande I have only hooked 1 Tarpon. I hope to get back tp Packery soon!
Hey man! Greatings from South Africa... In order to avoid loosing your spoon, have you ever tried two single hooks together. Put them together on the ring to form a heart-shape. We fish from the rocks often and this works wonders. It is also less damaging on the fish's mouth than treble hooks.
Man my jaw dropped when you broke your rod. Was like that time when you attempted to cast your rod and you snapped your line after getting all pumped when that tanker was coming in! Lol great videos
Great vid dude, congrats on that tarpon catch! I’m fishing out here in San Antonio, mostly Calaveras lake. The freshwater reds seem to be biting a whole lot more now that the water is warming up. I’ve been having great luck throwing them a nice live shad or sunfish/tilapia on a dropshot rig. Just yesterday I caught 5, from 1.5lbs to 8.5. I plan on heading down to corpus this coming week to try my luck. Hopefully I can land a few trout and reds, really want to add some new species, maybe a sheepshead or houndfish, who knows maybe a tarpon too. Keep posting vids man!
Have not had a chance to hit the beach yet this year, but the small stripers are starting to hit bloodworms in the back bays and canals in Jersey. The spring run is just getting started. Nice catch with the tarpon; not something I would have expected from a jetty like that.
Awesome video brother been catching a bunch of sheepshead On the East Cut North on South Padre Island 🌴 I just got myself a penn slammer lll 5500 i'm going to put him into work thanks for the reviews and tips brother love watching your videos keep up the good # macallen Tx.
I was catching Spanish mackerel out there that day as well. I was a little surprised because the water was pretty dirty, but good amount of sun light. Water temp is good for mackerel but your right man a little early for tarpon, especially with how cold the water got this year.
Bucktails no joke. Recently i caught a 18inch flounder, 17inch speckler, 14inch red and a 14inch snook. All within an hour fishing a white bucktail with a doa 3inch shrimp. You know a bucktail will work anywhere when the navy includes a bucktail and hand line in their survival kit.
Fishing becomes life in a sense ? My grandfather an I An as I grew up did nothing but fishing an fixing old cars an it became the norm !! Now at 47 years of age an still have nothing but extreme love for just fishing !!! it’s called a true fisherman an I have personally caught some big boys here in North idaho !!! Great catch. Congrats on your first Tarpon. I think that Tarpon may have snapped the other rod you were using at first. Maybe it was starting to go. Bad luck may not always be all bad.

Man I love your attitude. Everyone in the midwest has a always angry and sarcastic selfish vibe. Im one of the only people who counts the blessings!
Matty Ice - man you aren't hanging around the right people then. I know how you feel. I had to change my surroundings, my own attitude, and the people around me. There's a ton of good people in the midwest, you just gotta change your view on it!
