Craziest decision of my life, but I'm so happy I did it:)

Congrats, I love my 2023 TRD off Road. I plan on keeping mine forever , I'm in my 50's and I'm pretty sure that it will out live me!!
You’re gonna have that truck for a long time, I love my 2014 4runner so much nothing ever breaks everything last forever. I do the necessary maintenance. It’s amazing. I’m even gonna hand it down to my son in like eight years

Congratulations young lady! I’m an old man of 67 and bought my 1st ever Toyota of any kind a 23 TRD Off-Road Premium (same color as yours). I’ve had it 4 months now and haven’t even put 1,000 miles on it. The dogs finally got a ride in it. Ya just can’t beat the looks of a 4Runner. Again, congrats!
This video was so accurate, from the emotions of making the decision to having the keys in your hands . I got my first 4Runner in March of this year too. 2023 Off Road Premium in Lunar Rock. The absolute best decision I’ve ever made when picking out a vehicle. Congratulations and hope you love it.

You better keep that forever. Looks like it was about 10k more than it should have been but, you did save money on interest over any loan and the resale value is solid so in the end I’d say you will break even. No reason to ever buy anything else. Gas mileage isn’t great but you won’t be spending money to repair it all the time after the warranty period either so never let it go!
The SR5 premiums are going for around 46K now; with tax, tag, and title, especially in California, that could top 50K (currently about to buy one myself)
@@RK-ow1zg Yeah I was thinking also probably was 5K in tax as well so probably isn’t too bad of a deal. I almost bought a few 4Runners but cards never aligned for me and I wanted the high level trims either limited or TRD pro. Trade values fell too far so I feel like I am missing out of the market now. Enjoy them if you were able to get one!! I would have.

I hate the buying experience at a dealership. That being said when I bought my Tacoma off road I went through Costco auto purchase program and the price was set at 500 over invoice. My advise is to arm yourself with knowledge on comparable pricing and what you should and shouldn’t be paying for in the contract. And most importantly be ready to walk out if your not satisfied with the purchase agreement.

I saw the video where you named your 4Runner something to do with the number 3 in Hawaiian. I saw a video from a man I believe in Arizona (also Hawaiian) who designed a Hawaiian design for his back quarter panels which looked good. I’m not Hawaiian but have been looking for a design I like for my quarters. I’m envious of your wheels. I may eventually get the Gun Metal gloss ones. Great purchase!

The biggest regret I have is selling my 2022 4Runner TRD OR Premium in Lunar Rock (which looks Cement in some lights).
i just got one too and I loveeeeeeeeeee it, i've put mods on it already 33' KO2s and 2.5' inch lift and new side steps!!! i can't wait to go camping in it soon
That’s amazing!!! I haven’t decided what I want to modify jsut yet, so far I changed the rims to TRD. I took it to the dunes & it was so fun camping/off roading
Hey .. just letting you know that Lunar Rock has been available since 3 years ago and it still is.. maybe the dealer lied to you. And also, Toyota vehicles never need any sort of warranty package as they do not break down (especially the 4runners..). I think the sneaky dealer got you real good on that sale. I don’t wanna hurt your feelings but I am just telling a fact. Congrats on your new car though! 🎉
@Notification93 thank you for your comment:) The Lunar Rock (green/blue/grey) color is nice! but my dream color is Cement (grey) that I believe has been discontinued for a few years! I agree, after talking to a few toyota owners, they think the highest warranty isn't needed. I wish I could go back in time haha, but I think I could get a return on the warranty package that I selected, I'll be looking into that (if that's an option). All in all I'm so happy with the 4Runner!
@@brianne_wong Ah, nvm, I thought I heard lunar rock was your fav color haha. Yea, definitely look into it and see if they'd refund it. I currently have an order in for a Lunar Rock color right now and I think I'm receiving it early next year. How's your fuel economy like?

I didn’t personalize/put in an order. I bought the rims off of a website for only $700! Best decision (Toyota would have ripped me off :P)

I'm still in the market trying to find a 4runner but alot of bad dealers selling above msrp and to be honest the interest rates are so high right now I don't know if its worth waiting until next year or just pull the trigger now before Toyota discontinues the 5th gen 4runners when the 6th gen comes out 2024/2025.
@NCblue95 I totally agree with you, this isn't a process to rush for sure. Now that the 6th gen was released, I'm personally happy with my decision!
