He also didn't see the other corner coming in until the last second. You could see Branch see that there was a collision coming so he turned his body to the right to avoid getting hit. He probably would have wrapped the receiver up if he didn't notice there was going to be a collision. Branch's last second reaction was to protect himself, and unfortunately he made helmet to helmet contact because of that decision.
Ejections used to be about doing non football things in the NFL. Going after people on the sideline, in the stands, officials or using a piece of equipment as a weapon accounted for most of them. I've never seen someone kicked out of a game in the NFL for playing football until now.
What worries me is that the league is married to gambling. Under that circumstance, the NFL can't take control of games from the stadium officials. or things get VERY suspicious.
BS the dude that took out Olave moved 5 + yards after the ball was dropped by Olave he got killed head high. Why wasn't a guy who put Olave on a cart headed to the hospital ejected
I felt the Dallas game was the Lions trying to embarrass the league. "The refs stole a game from us last year and then you said it was our fault for being sneaky? Enjoy your prime time blowout to your most valuable franchise and we're going to try and get every OL a touchdown. Quit playing with us."
Branch was running full speed on wet grass… I would love to see anybody try to come to a stop without tearing everything in both knees 😒

The NFL officiating is DIRTY!!! A bookie squeezed an NFL NY stooge to force that call against Branch! Gambling runs the league!
Nah they just did that to try, and help the Cheeseheads, but it didn't work lol! 😂
