@TC Zwag Okay, as a veigar main, Imma give you a secret. I have a 63% wr on this purple nightmare. For runes, take what you took on the first tree, but secondary go precision, presence of mind and cut down. Almost everyone has more health than veigar, and if they don't...well, you won't need more damage for people who don't.
Liandry's isn't really helpful, they are dead before the burn happens anyway. If you need something more defensive go Everfrost. If you don't, go Ludens for the magic pen. Then build Horizon Focus. Now you are looking at a bonus of +15-25% damage to the whole team when you proc Horizon. Tanks are a myth made up by assassins to compensate for how fragile they are.
Then Cosmic and Rabadons in whatever order you prefer. I've hit 1950 ap this way. I did two things in that game. I killed a Jinx with nothing more than a Q at full health, and I full combo killed a Lvl 18 full build Sion.
I had 1900 ap in one game on Summ Rift, maybe 7 days ago..
Build: Everfrost, Seraphs, Rabbadon, Cosmic Drive, and Void Staff plus Merc boots (which I sold in lategame for Banshee)
RUNES:
Primary: Blue runes with comet and stacking of mana, haste and AP
Secondary: Yellow runes with Presence of Mind & Coup de grace
Tertiary: Haste, AP, & armor/mr (depends who you facing mid)
You can start with tear or dorans ring, also depending who you face in lane. Fast recall to get tear immediately after hard pushing. General idea is that you don't run out of mana very easy in lane, so you could stack way way more. It was high plat/low diamond elo match
As Veigar when no minion are around to farm, you must see Enemy Champion as big minion.

Always fun watching zwag play but am I the only one who sees veigar as genuinely a little OP? I think since his damage scale is unlimited, his max health should be capped. Or at least make the combo one shot in the late game, rather than after a couple kills worth of snowballing. I feel like riot and the league community accepts any old BS as long as it has about a 50% win rate. Something needs to exist to balance out the E self peel which makes survival way too easy considering the burst which is on such a low cool down it may as well be DPS. Unless you can literally one shot him with an ability, veigar can't really be considered a diveable target, he has about an 80% chance of landing one extremely low CD spell which will instantly remove you from the fight if you try to dive him without point and click CC. And that's if he doesn't land E, we all know what happens he lands E.
Have you played veigar? His range is super low and he is mega exploitable in the early game. He gets shat on unless you can dodge well and play as safe as a xerath main
@@alexkammeraad6321 Yeah of course, never as a main pick though. I'm talking more conceptually here, you don't need to convince me that he's not upsetting the meta or anything. I just think the way his kit is designed is a bit disgusting, maybe even outdated. He's a fun concept, but difficult to balance and I feel like in order for him to viable, some sort of change needs to be made to the way he works.
