"Lebe wohl, ade" [Goodbye, Farewell] is a sad German song from 1935, about a couple deeply in love, which says goodbye to each other forever. It could be perhaps best described simply by one line from the 1st strophe: "Wer lieben will, muß leiden" [He who loves must suffer].
    Recorded also by:
1935 Männerchor; Sinfonisches Blasorchester; Conductor: Bruno Seidler-Winkler
1935 Männerchor; Blasorchester; Conductor: Walter Hildebrandt
It was also included in medley "Reserve hat Ruh'" by Bruno Seidler-Winkler (1935).
