Your better investing a little more in the original corgi. I wasn’t that impressed with corgis new model. Flimsy in comparison. I had to get three replacements. Then the rear screen still didn’t work properly
Hi there. The car is 1/18th scale, around 25 cm/10" in length. The box is around 33 cm/13". These dimensions are approximate because the model was repacked due to lack of space in my display cabinets.
Is it worth it? I mean, its not easy to find this model in my country so i cant see it in person. Does the price increase a lot just because of the bond brand? It looks a bit overpriced...
Hello there. Determining whether it's worth it or not will most probably be subjective. For me, I was always going to buy it because I'm a fan of the car, but as per other viewers, this isn't necessarily the best depiction of the Bond DB5 (this ie the only one I have in my collection). Is there any way I can help with the search? I can send you the high resolution pictures I took of the model if it helps. Thanks for watching 🙏😊
hmm very disappointing for an auto-world. if you going to use the name James bond then you must include all the working features or its just a normal DB5 and the paint job looks like hammarite

I honestly am not that affected with the lack of those gadgets, simply because it would become more of a toy project (potentially), even though it's doable that way. I guess I'm just looking at it subjectively because I love the car and its story. Legendary Mopar nickname by the way :D

The Danbury Mint 1:24 scale Bond DB5 is still the best I've seen. It has all the features of the movie version.

Auto World simply re-issued the old ERTL casting of this 007 Aston Martin DB5. They didn't bother to fix any flaws of the original ERTL model.
Yeah they did that with many of their models. Still a pretty nice one though :)
Wonder if SOLIDO DB5 is better . It only opens the doors but it's cheaper than GRE model

@@oliver13809 that's a bummer. I've seen hit and miss models from many diecast brands I have in my collection. I hope Corgi does better though
