    Bruh, i just paid 90 + tax for these at wal-mart. I should have known better. But i love them. I swore by the wire my whole life for quality and latency reasons. But wireless has come a long way. I'm on my laptop jamming out and i keep reaching for my wire so i know where it is, but it isn't there. I wanted to go get a drink once and i sat here waiting for the song to end so i could take them off. Then it hits me, i can go anywhere! I'm not tethered anymore!

    Headphone manufacturers need to stop saying noise canceling. It’s noise reduction. Big difference and disappointing after buying these headphones.

      yea same boat i was looking for noise canceling headset but it was noise reduction i noticed instantly after i was looking for the noise reduction button like what my friends noise cancleing earbuds had and i noticed how i couldent hear the white noise cancleing the noise and then i realised ohh they are noise reduction not actual cancleing so it is a bit missleading

    I've used the predecessor JBL Tune 600NC model for ~5 years and they're great for gym, they don't fall off even when in different angles and postures. For running they were not so great as stomping sound of foot hitting the ground disturbs the music listening. Good for vacuuming etc. household chores if you wanna focus on something else than screaming kids.
    Unfortunately my 600NC's noise cancelling feature started bugging and squeal, which makes the feature unusable. And the audio quality is way inferior w/o NC, making the headset kinda worthless. They lasted for 5 years of active use so not bad! But I'm thinking of byuing these 660 to replace the old ones, as they are good at gym.

      Bro i wanna get one of these for the gym, can u tell me if the ear pads tear with time and sweat??
      and is the Noise Cancellation feature makes difference or should i buy the 510BT whitch is without NC feature??

    • @jsivonenVR
      @jsivonenVR 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ossamasalah905 the NC feature is a must have, as it not only dampen down the gym sounds and radio but also noticeably improves the audio quality. Tbh I have no idea why the audio quality sounds so inferior w/o NC, the bass just goes away!

    • @jsivonenVR
      @jsivonenVR 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ossamasalah905 the build quality is surprisingly good, they look brand new even after active use of years and I've dropped them quite often etc.
      On the leg day, the sweating gets bit uncomfortable, but nothing that wiping ears and pads w/ towel woudln't fix.

      @@Admiral_Jezza Well I ended up going to the computer section at a store we have in Australia called Harvey Norman and I like bought 3 headphones.. all pink.. one had kitty cat ears and the others were big and pink.. a brand called RAZER they like go over my ears. I paid a little less for 3 sets of these RAZER headphones that use normal headphone jacks than I do for one set of Beats by Dr Dre and they always break and fail after around a year!! These are still going strong and while the sound was slightly lower in tone to the Beats by Dr Dre I was like use too.. they have fallen.. been knocked off my desk by my cats and not one issue yet.. the beats by Dr Dre would not survive those falls!! I like have a box full of my old and broken Beats By Dr Dre but no one repairs them in Australia and Apple just say buy a new set because they refuse to fix them also!! For something so expensive you would think they would be happy to repair them but nope.. not on the agenda sadly and so does that mean by box of Beats by Dr Dre is now e-waste??

    Funny story these are just 510BTs with noise cancelling and the other bells and whistles.
    Every one of their headphones have 2 versions in their lineup: 710BT and 760NC. They're the same but the latter has all the extra stuff.
    510BT and 660NC: Same build and drivers I'm sure, but with noise cancelling on the latters.
    However with the newer versions the 520BT and 670NC, they now have EQ support! So you can make the sound more tailored to your taste

    I cannot for the life of me grasp the use of 2.5 mm plug for wired use (like when working from home), they are not so easy to find like the ubiquitous 3.5 mm (and they are certainly not as affordable). Sennheiser does that as well (charging 100 bucks just for the replacement cable!), and that is why I am avoiding them and now JBL, too: several times I had to exchange the connection cable, I had unnecessary trouble and waste of time and money, not to mention being pissed off (so many 3.5 mm cables lying around my home that could not be used...). In my opinion, this is a serious design flaw affecting practicality and user-friendliness in a very unpleasant way.
