lemmy would be really proud of this song great version and really retains the spirit of motörhead 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🎸🎶glad i got to see them before lemmy passed RIP 🪦
Same. This is from their 90s album "Bastards" and death by stereo did a poor cover. All the songs in that album has diversity like, there are fast ones, slow with emotion ones, and this song is the groovy one. And thanks to death by stereo for making a bad cover all yelling and shit.
Dan! That mustache! 🤣. Love it brotha! I've seen you guys so many times over the years. Hung out in merch tents for hours. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. Miss you guys! For real tho. Lemmy!? I've seen motorhead 5 times. And you guys did him justice. Love how your reading your phone tho dude haha. Great cover. Love your band! Good shit!
So glad I saw MOTORHEAD live, and it was a small venue here in Colorado, the Gothic Theater. It took me forever to see that band live for some reason but it was worth the wait, loudest show ever!!!! Rest easy Lemmy!
What?!?! Never thought I’d see Death By Stereo! On Bangertv! Punk O Rama something…but bought their first album on Indecision, and saw them a bunch of times! I love them!!! Their most recent album was one of their best!!! ✊🏿🖤🤘🏾🤎🖕🏻🤍
The music sounds good... the vocals?? Meh, Lemmy had a harsh voice too but he still sang actual notes, didn't just yell. Not hatin' tho, respect to em for covering the great Motorhead.
I mean, not everything is for everyone. That's fine. I like them a lot and part what I like about is that care-free mo-town kind of let loose music. Lemmy is sort of an icon, more surpassing the music really to just be like the cool party guy. I don't really know who he was as a person, but in metal legend Lemmy is sort of that Mt. Rushmore figure for the pure rough and tumble vibe that he brought. He's a dude that came across as not giving a fuck and proud. A little like Ozzy, though Ozzy is a little more concerning do to his inability to control his addictions. Lemmy obviously was an alchoholic, but he was functional. I think he's just part of that generation that really did seem to have just an unstoppable willpower. Boomer humor is popular now, but a lot of those people are resilient in their pursuits.
@@DecayingReverie Oh for sure, major legend. Lots of respect, but the music itself is just too close to Elvis or Chuck Berry for me. Now, I know that I am in 2022 listening to bands that were influenced by bands that were influenced by bands that were influenced by Motorhead. Some of their music is just timeless in its greatness, but I can't help that in 2022, a lot of their music (especially this song) sounds closer to Elvis than Revocation. I guess I'm talking in circles here, but idk I like talking about metal, and I think it's an interesting topic to bring up that the direction metal has taken has led to Motorhead, a foundational band in metal, being more sonically similar to the earliest rock n roll artists than today's metal artists. I especially think this is interesting because the same cannot be said about other early metal bands like Sabbath, Priest, or UFO.

This was wicked awesome. More please. And thank you BangerTV.
Seen death by stereo at the house of blues in new Orleans. It's been so long ago...but they either opened up for lamb of god or soulfly...
That was Awesome! Lemmy is smiling down on you guys 👍👍🤘🤘

but they played it too fast and it lost a little something.
this meh
I get why Motorhead is so revered, but they just have too much of that 50s rock sound for me. I understand liking it, but ehh.
Don't get this little game started!
