    This system would be really annoying to unlucky people just like you said, but if it was like 1 white from the dungeon to forge something else from the dungeon, is fair, but 2 whites is just absurd. You would still need 2 more legendary items for it, but for example, you wanted arcana, but you only had warmonger and the shatts robe, this would be stupid to "trade" for the arcana

      it's at a really strange stage at the moment and I hope that the final outcome is like better lol

      but the nowadays "exploit" for the king marks you said, there's a limited amount of the old marks so it's not really a "exploit", since you can only use them for the forge, nothing else basically. they dont have unlimited amount of forge fire anyways so they still have the cooldown of forging items.

    Also nest and cult whites becomes almost useless, because all items from this dungeons either usless or highly situational. They could at least make system, where using items from correct dungeon gives more material and spends less forgefire, but using items from other dungeons is giving less material and increese forgefire cost. And yes, you still need marks to craft, because it's the only thing that garanteed from dungeon and proofs that you done it.

      Jame idk if it's just me but trying to read the reddit post when you're in a bullet hell boss fight and screen rotating a lot gives me headache, j wish the text was a slightly higher opacity or it was a smaller window overlaid on top of part of the rotmg background. Loved the content of the video by the way, completely agree with your rant as always!

      @@salewasagoose hmm, interesting. I'm not sure if it's just me being able to ignore certain parts of what I'm looking at (sort of a "selective seeing" thing) but I'll certainly keep it in mind when making content similar to this. Thank you!

    İncrease mark counts to craft and make marks stack like tokens easy.

    i doubt that increased drop rates would fix the problem with running hundreds of dungeons and getting 0 whites
    they should keep the main drop rates the same, but add a second value where it increases the main chance the more dungeons you complete, and when you get a white the value drops back to 0 and the drop chance is back to main
    this will make it not rng, but more "do x amount for a guaranteed if you're unlucky" because the main chance + second value will eventually reach 100% for the drop

      a better pity system would be better, yea. Though I kind of do not trust DECA to do something more complex than drop rate changes

    what i want to know is why the fucking keep making stupid changes like this, when every day people are still having issues with horrible server desync and freeze lags that cause u to be unable to spam heal, nexus, and when you unlag ur insta dead to mechanics that have NO REASON to kill you. the technical issues of the game should be FIRST AND FOREMOST before deciding to change more of this bullshit.

    No matter how easy it becomes to get UTs, people still have the option to not use it or change the rules of forging for themselves, and more players will be able to get UTs that they really want. Everyone should be able to play the game their own way and it will not hurt endgame players if items become too easy to get, besides entitled players wanting to feel special.

    Well to be honest they should keep the marks used for forging BUT make the old shatters marks legacy (basically useless just for collection) , like they did with the chests , why would they make legacy shatter chests (the old ones) and the new shatters chests but wont make the old marks legacy and recreate new type of shatter marks that people will get after completing the dungeon it self

    Damn seems like we're having some bum ass changes from the dev team. I really feel like DECA needs to listen to players or trusted people in the community on this stuff. It's at times like this that I just have to wonder "Does DECA play their own game?". Like have they actually thought about or experienced the grind of new shatters? Agree with your prognosis though, better drop rates would really go a long way to improve some of the most frustrating aspects of this game. Hope the game will continue to have good active player numbers though🤞🤞🤞

    one of the leading? devs said he would 5x droprates in a heartbeat if UT trading and forge didn't exist, but right now they're kindof in a bind

      if they did that it would be very nice, but also if they buff drop rates then we wouldn't need to use forge as much as we do currently too

    off topic, does gemstone work with cshield? does it reduce the mp drain so you can invinc for longer?

    I personally think Forge should stay, but requires a lot of smart work to actually work well. It's a good idea but it's too simple at the current moment, and as someone who isn't a degenerate with no life and hates doing discord runs I agree with people that the current change is disguistingly bad. Some may get lucky and get shit ton of items quick, but others like may have not even a bit of luck and get more fucked by this change. Also this would make marks back to being worthless if you dont have the certain quests ready to complete. You had to think whether you want a quest chest for more loot or to craft a white smh.
    Wasn't the forge's purpose to make more whites available to people who can't get some whites to drop due to luck or less free time, or to make people actually risk using rarer whites? Why must Deca target everything towards endgame morons..
