That intro is the funniest thing I've seen in so long! The last throw really cracked me up good!

Very nice humour in your channel now Robert. The bag thing and the poetry on the hill was hilarious. Not only do you have a bag problem like me, but when I check out the prices on them, you also have an expensive bag problem!

Quite possibly the best intro and bag review I've ever watched! Well done Robert, a good backpack that's comfortable and can carry what you need is so important, especially if you're camping too. I've not come across this brand before, but for the price, I'm sure it's worth every penny. I look forward to seeing more of it once we can all get back out again.👍👍👍

The Atlas Adventure bag is even better ad NOT to large, but more for hybrid shooters both video and photo!

Nice video! I’m always looking for a nice camera backpack that I can take hiking as this combines some of my favorite hobbies! I haven’t come across this backpack, but your video certainly has me intrigued - thank you! Stay safe and all the best!!

I don’t know If I will buy the bag. But I loved the introduction.. I watched it on repeat thrice 😂 My husband always says he wants a smaller camera bag. Any bag doesn’t make him happy. That’s y I am here

Can't stop laughing.... don't start knife collecting!!!! This was great, compartments are important in bags, or like you mentioned, when things are hard to find, and it can be frustrating. A good bag is well worth paying for. As always really enjoy your work Robert, can't wait to tune in next time.

7:20 MY Evoc Neo16L has that, but my FR Enduro did not, had to buy desperately, but instead it had Z hook straps for attaching knee pads, I don't know why they new one does not, it actually worked quite well, and definitely is room to have both features. these backpacks actually don't get water in via the fabric, unless very worn I guess, but via the zippers they do, where the two zipper gliders meet, there will be a gap, so water gets in,so I always had the zipper gliders both at one side and down, so water did not come in.but I love having a rain cover.

6:13 whistle won't work when you have your fingers covering it. that whistle will be loud if you don't, unless something is inside it blocking the air. this looks like the same whistle that is on many backpacks, including my Evoc backpacks, it came on EVOC FR Enduro 16L, and my new back pack, Neo 16L
    so you should test that.

3:30 you should show the compartment, how it looks like inside and what fits. and show your phone in there, and how it fits, I have a big smartphone with big case, so it's about 10cm wide and 17 cm long 1 cm thick. which means it won't fit in most pant pockets. My back pack has pockets for passport and a or wallet, it has two of those, so a passport sized wallet fits, also has the key thing, but fits my big phone, and it has hole for charging cable, I have better which hangs of bladder attachment in main compartment. I have A enduro mountainbike backpack, so it's intended for aggressive riding, but it has nice features, but it's not specific to photography, Evoc has backpacks for trail building, photography too.
The backpack is the latest riding backpack they have which is Evoc Neo, which has a back protector that has many holes in it, creating air flow, I love that feature.
I am working on a short term review of it, but the FR ENduro I already have a long term review of. I haven't owned a camera backpack yet, but I don't think I will need to, unless going for multiple camera and lens solution. so far my plan is to get a greet camera for video, photography, that is not huge but not tiny.
I know a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 would fit, cus I borrowed that camera from my sister, before I had a smartphone.

Do you know what Johannes ??... You are totally correct... I have actually missed out the huge compartment that holds everything other than camera gear ... its not a comprehensive review of this amazing bag... I must do a remake of this ... Thanks for pointing this out 👍👍👍

@@RobertJohnKerrUK doing everything in one go don't always go so well, so I take some clips, some photos, and then combine it all in a written review, I haven't tried making a long video about something yet. I go so in depth with things it takes me weeks, months, to actually have something I can publish, and if it was a video that would be even longer. but that's for long term reviews. some things are easier to review than others, especially a video.

    • @mtbboy1993
      @mtbboy1993 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@RobertJohnKerrUK you could have the backpack laying and film it from above and different angles, it's a lot of work, same with photos, I take many photos of everything, evry compartment, every part.

10:06 this is a great feature, that's one of the new features that my Evoc Neo backpack has too, I love it, no weird fold or kink, makes things so much easier to take in and out, can take things out at the bottom without having to take the top stuff out.

@@RobertJohnKerrUK I came across your vid again. So here's my current setup: Now I use Evoc Explorer 30L, the back is more ventilated, no built in back protector, but I don't always need a back protector, and I got a torso protector I can put on when I do, this back pack has a plate keeping stuff away from my back, and there's mesh so my back doesn't overheat. I went for this back pack as it had tool compartment, which was separated from the main compartment, and that's where I put my camera.
Now I have a proper camera, A7IV with 24-7GMII. Took a while but got them used from camera retailers. I keep it between heavy duty elbow pads, impact tested to comply with motorcycle standard, despite being Poc a mountain bike protection brand. I keep it inside a bag that came with my bed sheets. covering it I have a back protector. So my camera should be safe.
I can even fit a tripod in it, at least my Peak Design Travel tripod. Possibly room for another lens if it's not too big. If I have tripod in the bottle pocket I could have something else inside too.
This setup allows me to easily take out the camera and the protection, and if I go grocery shopping and don't need to take the camera, like when it's too dark for photography anyway. But otherwise I tend to bring my camera. With all of the protection I'm not afraid to damage it.

Hi Robert. Awesome bag there. Atlas looks nice! BTW, is there any chance you will review the Lowepro Powder BP500 camera bag. Lowepro just came up with this bag a year ago for backpacking and mountaineering. It has 55L capacity and 50 percent is dedicated to gear and the other 50 percent is for personal stuff. Lowepro might be willing to lend you one if you'd like to review the item. Im just waiting for mine to arrive in a few days since it's on sale right now here in the gulf. I hope this helps people who are looking for a mountaineering bag. Let us know what you think about it. Link below:
