    It’s called a homemade vacuum meter or manometer . Works like a champ, even for 4 carb setups.

    Hi mate, thanks. As for the size of the tube, sorry mate but I don't know. I just eyeballed the various sizes they had in the shop and picked the size I knew would fit, simple as that really. A tip that a mate recently gave me was to use auto transmission fluid in the tube for it's brighter color.

    Hi mate. I remember you had a bunch of funny videos on your channel, do you still have this chopper? Take care/

      Hi mate. Regretfully, I sold that bike some years ago. I bought another XS650 since but I've kept it stock. Glad you liked my vids! I've made most of them private because well, that was a fair few years ago LOL. Maybe I should make them public again. If there are any in particular you liked let me know and I will make it / them public again.

    Can you still do this even if the carb boot/holder doesn't have those venting tubes?

    • @thunzie
      @thunzie  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not as far as I'm aware.

    saw that you adjusted just the right-side carb, not the left one too? are you trying to stay at a particular RPM?

    • @weeverob

      +Rob Weaver [red face] .....was a newbie question, i see there's only one idle adjustment screw, right side. tx

      +Rob Weaver Hi Rob, each carb has an adjustment screw on it's right side. In the video I'm adjusting the mixture of each carb until they're matched. Did you figure it out?
