My Pioneer XDJ XZ have its own record usb port. Why dont all high end gear from Pioneer have that ? One more thing im a android user and wish this app did work npt only on appe phones.
When you plug your usb cable into the send/return section, do you have to put it on master for it to record the set? Or say if I had it on channel one will it mean it only records channel one?? Hope that makes sense
Why does the app record only 1 deck and not Deck 2, I keep running into this issue , it doesn’t record the transition, and keeps recording the loop when I’m mixing out , and sometimes there’s a gap in the recording with no music , please help ? What am I doing wrong ?

Firstly thanks for the kind words!! I recommend Bandcamp & iTunes. Bandcamp is best for independent tracks and find, but iTunes for commercial releases! Rekordbox doesn't allow you to record mixes with streamed tracks as you do not own them and you could record full tracks on a subscription which is a later cheaper than purchasing so could damage artists

I’ve been watching other DJs on YT recording their mixes showing the Recordbox software and clear music. How do they do that? Also, does the video and sound separate and have to use software to sync them together? Thanks
You'd have to look into a different setup as this is for recording just audio, you may need to use a 3rd party software on a laptop if you want video and audio at the same time. Alternatively you could record separately and edit in post.
@@BopDJstore hi well when I was reading about it it's all to do with how youtube converts the audio apparently theres only 2 softwares for broadcasting live that can convert it to stereo

Please remove "ANY" from the title. I have XDJ-700s and a DJM-700 and I can't do this.
Then use the master output with the rca option. Plug a rca to aux cable in it and you can record it on the app

Problem is 95% of mixers you rock up to dont have the latest firmware. The app just refuses and bugs out if its above IOS13 :/ without a mixer update
Is there a way to record straight to a USB stick from the DJM? or do you HAVE to use the iphone/app/laptop?
You can only record with iPhone/Laptop/App - unless you go out of the booth into an audio interface
I would assume it also works on 900 NEXUS without being the NEXUS2 correct?

It should record everything connected to the mixer, what is the setup you are using?
What about recording a set made by djm 400? Anybody knows?

Although it is a mixer with a USB & in-built interface it does not have a send and return which is required to utilise this application

You have to setup a camera, we advise a Go Pro with high storage that way you can charge and get high quality footage with a small footprint!

I'd advise using a audio interface running out of the booth monitor rca and into the inputs. You can then use Audacity or a DAW to record the input :)
