After watching this video, I am blown away by the statistics and images. My parents went there 15 years ago and told me that it was a magical modern wonderland. I can’t imagine how much more it is today. This place sounds like an economic locomotive inside a garden paradise.
Dongguan is an amazing vibrant city! The robots and automation in use in the factories are really space age technologies. Huawei's campus with the many DisneyWorld like towns must be a cool place to work & live. Enjoyed the video as always!
There’s no argument, Alex / Julija and the team really do a great job creating these videos. Long hour days no doubt. I did happen to take note that there was no mention of any racetrack in Dongguan, but I did notice one beautiful, and very high bridge. I guess we could put this city on our “visit” list.
Hey Ken thanks for watching. The Huawei campus is impressive. Its like a city within a city. The brains walking around that place are impressive. I will have more footage on the Patreon soon.
The new city is now planning another 470 metre skyscraper, and the city is now expanding explosively. The tallest tower in Dongguan resembles Newyork world trade center as viewed from different angles. The new China is just amazing!😍😍
Kudos to Alex for bringing such amazing content. I'd like to address that people often say china is dirty and polluted. But they forget the fact that 1/3rd products across the world were made in China which ofc results in high amount of pollution. And thats the only thing media portray to the world. After seeing your videos I came to know how beautiful china is. I'm fed up with propaganda produced on china from multi-national news channels to even TH-cam channels. China isn't a perfect country. It has internal and external problems like many countries. But that doesn't mean it's going to collapse. Sincerely waiting for china to claim it's historical position.

Dongguan epitomises what you can accomplish when you never stop progressing. Thanks the Reporterfy Media team for the great introduction! I didn't know Huawei has an R&D centre in Dongguan. Love the look of their campuses.
One must assume that Dongguan is ideally positioned within the country for the movement of finished goods by sea, rail and air. This of course would also apply to the industries located here to easily receive raw materials for manufacturing. The combination of 8,000 domestic industries, 14,000 foreign funded manufacturing entities, along with multi-national companies being established, (over 170,000 industrial enterprises) probably makes Dongguan the manufacturing powerhouse of the world. Recognition must be given to those that have planned the layout of this city of 10 million people. Additionally the Chinese should can stand proud for their U.N. Environmental Program recognition. To include vast areas of forests, wetlands, parks and green ways in this mega city of manufacturing shows that there is indeed concern for our planet environment. Dongguan may not be the most beautiful city to view by night with flashing skyscrapers or futuristic bridges to some, but there is beauty to be found. The twelve towns of Huawei’s campus are indeed a shining touch to this city. Hats off to the entire Reporterfy Media team once again! Dongguan and cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau are part of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. The combined GDP of this zone was already the 12th largest economy in the world back in 2018. After the pandemic, it may rank even higher.
Another great video, do you get the sense Americans are starting to understand China's miraculous growth in recent years, or are they still in denial? From what I see, the best way forward for the US and China is to develop an alliance, rather than oppose each other. The people in China like America, have a good sense of humor, are very smart and educated, and very very hardworking. China today is already a peer country to America, and I think most people don't realize this.
@@AndrewManook Hi Andrew, please elaborate, what am I missing?
