I really liked it too. The short time travel in tekken 6. This is the perfect template for an anime series. In the Prologue in Tekken6 and also here everything is briefly and concisely described what happens in the story. Really cool.

Kazuya looks great for his age
I haven't followed Tekken storyline for a while but in Tekken 4, the canon ending is that Jin whooped both Kazuya and Heihachi in the Hon-Maru. So all the way from back then, Jin was already strong enough to do that. Now in Tekken 8 for the sake of plot convenience so that the main character have a goal to strive towards, Jin is written to be so outclassed by Kazuya like this...
Jin's Tekken 4 win doesn't make much sense either.
Winning even tho kazuya learnt to control Devil at that time.
Does that seem realistic to you? It was just plot armour..
Many of you overrate Jin not knowing he lost to hwoarang and Lars while kazuya never lost a single fight against non mishimas
@@KazuyaKai1012 Yes, it does make sense. In tekken 3 the official canon ending is Jin's ending which means that he was the one who killed true ogre. And after Heihachi shot him, he was already able to transform into devil Jin. Killing true ogre is no small feat and it sure is greater than anything Kazuya has ever done at that point. So again, Jin was already such a powerhouse all the way from back then.
Added with the fact of what happened at the end of Tekken 4 which does make sense, there was never any sense to make Devil Kazuya to be somehow so much stronger than Devil Jin. If anything, the most they can do is to make them 50-50. Randomly creating such a big gap between them in Tekken 8 like this is a flaw in the storyline done for the sake of plot convenience.
@@crimson6172 my friend, devil Jin randomly takes control over Jin's body and you don't seem to understand how devil gene itself work.
In Tekken 5 Jin destroyed an entire forest and he didn't have control over it, it tells you in his prologue.
Being able to transform is one thing but devil can control one's mind if he wants to.
Also, Harada confirmed many times Jin can't control it.
During T4 kazuya completely controlled devil, Jin couldn't control devil unlike kazuya, someone who mastered devil is always stronger than someone who doesn't.
To make the whole Tekken 4 situation funnier, kazuya didn't even try to transform against Jin in Tekken 4..
It is true that kazuya effortlessly beat Jin but they will fight again at the end and it wil be a closer fight

Dude, you're just making up a theory and trying to pass it off as factual for the sake of covering up the power inconsistency. So all these time we're supposed to believe that whenever devil Jin fights, his fighting power is that of the lesser devil. This despite the fact that base Jin already achieved more than Kazuya ever did such as killing true ogre in T3, beating both kazuya and heihachi in T4 and guess who beat Jinpachi again in T5? That's right, it's our boy Jin... Yet somehow, if both Jin and Kazuya transform into their devil form, suddenly there is this big gap between them in the other direction...
But look, I haven't followed Tekken storyline since Tekken 5 and after doing a bit of digging I learned that in Tekken 7 it was Kazuya who finally puts down Heihachi. And in the Tekken lore, it looks like Heihachi gets stronger as he gets older as explained by Gouki. So yeah, I'll give Kazuya his credit for beating the toughest and most persistent boss of the series. I guess this is the one saving grace that puts him ahead of Jin.

Leo's dad is about to enter the picture. What's his story? It looks like he found something while spelunking, something he wasn't supposed to find? Is that why he was believed to have been dead/out of the picture? Didn't Leo's mother help Kazuya? I don't recall the story from Tekken 4, but that was something like 20 years ago--damn, time flies.

Base Kazuya shot down a satellite in Tekken 7. Paul was able to draw against Kazuya in Tekken 1. This version of Kazuya is much stronger then Tekken 1 version.
Kazuyas devil form is stronger as time passes by. the more it consumes him and he adapts the stronger he gets.
At this point the Kazuya that had a draw with Paul may as well not exist in power scalings.

Most probably Kazuya must have took and absorbed Akuma devil power back in Tekken 7 (after defeating him). This probably explains why he is now stronger than Jin when in devil form.

Kazuya is my favorite character from start 1 to 7 he is badass i don’t know i don’t care about Jin i know he is popular character but i don’t care because i don’t really pick him play fight one to one i alway will pick Kazyura more often. my guess is i only good with him as controlling him. i do with jin i was sucked play as him.

It's unlikely you will ever see him again. Licensing him for every tekken release would be a hassle.

He literally plunged the world in chaos to deal with a dormant "threat" that was already apparent and didn't even change anything.
I blame the writing team because that was absolutely stupid and now they are trying to justify it. Wtf was Jin protecting if he killed millions in the process? We all know he's going to solve this issue by beating the snot out of his dad so this whole azazel Ressurection thing will be made even more pointless.
@@krimsonk-9478 Don't quote me on this one but I remember it said that if Jin awaken him early which he did he gonna destroy azazel for good and die with him.. because Azazel quoted and told Jin "fool You destroy me You're only going to destroy yourself as well" so Jin thought what azazel said would come true, killing azazel was gonna sat him Free....buuuut he woke up and realized he fuck up BIG time, now if you're wondering why Jin didn't come after azazel from the start is because Azazel was extremely hard to locate and plus he was hiding to gather enough negative energy to destroy the planet but unfortunately Jin caught him only at 50%

Oh man, what a shame they are still going with boring emo story of Mishimas x Kazamas hahah its bOOring. The story is always focused on a few same chars while %90 of the roster dont even show up in main story and ignored. Namco needs to make something creative and new, let side characters shine. But of course what you expect from that Gangnam style looking developer, Haraba Maraba or whatever his name. he only cares for japanese humor, and its not even funny honestly hahah :D

I'm so disappointed with the level of graphics mortal Kombat surpass this not just buy a little but by Miles.. gameplay was fun but really can't get a feel with the type of characters sorry excuse for a demo!! Definitely not pre-ordering it
