I was SUPER late to unboxing this bey... and to be honest i was just going to skip it. However, this beyblade has become my FAVORITE BU beyblade and so I just had to revisit this and talk about it!! Xiphoid Xcalibur is awesome!

Xiphoid Xcalibur is indeed one of my favorite bey right next to Achilles. The meta definitely needed a good right attacker, and we finally got one. The one downside of Xiphoid is that the sword tip can worn out quickly, making it not hit as hard compared to a fresh Xiphoid. But nevertheless it still can do solid hits and it's definitely worth the buy.
I don't know about the launcher but that might be me because xiphiod would just be spinning on the launcher

The problem with the launcher is the classic as with every sword launcher. It literally broke for me after 15 minutes of light usage lol. The left spin still works but right spin broke after around 8 launches. It's not build for the heavier beyblades

Both me and one of my friends bought a xiphoid Xcalibir and his sword launcher broke within two battles and mine still works after at least 40
The Xanthus disk is so similar to the Moon disk because they both use the BU lock system

Swap out Sword' for any good rubber driver Xtreme', Metal Xtreme, Quick' and the combo becomes a meta contender
the huge X crossswords looks so cool on the core best core design in all of BU and DB
Sword is definitely holding this combo back. It makes it unbalanced and scrape.
Can this is actually the one scraping. It covers the sword driver whole so the sword tips can’t touch the floor

I love ripcord started using them during gt during god ripcord kinda in the realm of a mid launcher but during gt after modifying it a bit i gotta say it felt strong as sparking extended launcher still has less control than db launcher

Something new would be better like Swords metal swords but a Extreme or Quick tip
The theme of Excalibur driver is it to be made out of metal. In that case they could have gone with iron which is much better than sword. But if they could choose any driver then it would be better to use evolution. It is a wide rubber driver which moves extremely fast after worn down. And it helps in solving scraping issue.

@@Eros1078 the problem with quick' is that it has a smaller rubber tip compared to evolution'. Because of this it has a higher chance of toppling over. With the addition of xanthus disc's scrapping it would be a pretty bad combo

am i the only one with the sword launcher that is faulty on the left spin. Dont get me wrong its powerful but the right spin gear skips teeth.

Legit I ordered On MallofToys Zest Achilles set and the V gear and while the v gear came perfectly fine the zest Achilles was replaced by a Xiphoid xcalibur which I like the launcher but not the actual Beyblade much I literally got scammed and I emailed called and everything else to get a refund but they won’t respond can you help Jake? Or anyone for that matter Idk what to do………..
MallofToys isn't great with responding. Cut your losses and just keep the Xiphoid Xcalibur. Xiphoid is really good. It's basically the ultimate right spin attacker. The Xcalibur core is okay and helps with the attack but change it if you want. Sword' is bad. Toss it. Xanthus is okay but it scraps more than others
