95 year old tries Thai food for first time

- You guys all know how difficult it’s been getting her to try different foods 😂
Tonight we took her to Torung. A little hole in the wall on Hollywood Boulevard.
The area is sketchy but the food is my favorite Thai place in LA.
Meet my nephew Danny. His first appearance on one of the videos, but he’s with us all the time.
Remember when Sassy Gran had no appetite and was so sick? It makes me feel so appreciative to see her thriving and eating/enjoying really delicious-looking food!

It’s nice to see Danny on camera too. He’s handsome, nice smile. Gio, bring Grandma there more often so that she gains a good 10 lbs. for future fighting weight in case she’s ever sick. The weight helps tremendously. If they t too thin once sick or have the flu, it’s hard for them to recover. I’m so glad she loves good food. She’s getting a lot of nutrition with Thai food. 🌝👏

Don't let Sassy fool ya. She's ornery but really such a sweetheart! It was so good to see her enjoying new and different foods from different cultures and omg finally getting her appetite back. I miss her so much! These videos make me feel like she's still with us. Thank you for keeping your videos going! I don't care how many times I've seen each one, I love them all and I have to watch a little sassy gran every night before bed. You know, truth be told. When someone like Gran is in your life, everyday is so much sweeter. It's people like her that make you wanna fly outta bed in the morning all cheery bcz you know Grans gonna be there to love and laugh with. Danny is looking fine lol as the rest of the family ❤️ it’s amazing to see grandma so full of life after her recent hospitalization. I have been a caregiver for 11 years & worked for facility’s & hospice and let me tell you granny is not going anywhere 💕

I'm sooooo happy to see grandma enjoy the food. It was so worrisome when she wasn't feeling well and wouldn't eat. So glad she is healthy and enjoying again. Both grandma and mum always so pretty, so classy.

I remember when I moved to L.A. years ago in the 80s, my first dinner out was at a Thai restaurant. The food was so enjoyable. I think your grandmother's experience was similar to mine. I'm so glad you made so many things accessible to her before she passed. I'm sure your rewards have been and will be so many for being so kind and thoughtful.

I just this week found Sassy Grands videos. Where have I been? So sorry to hear she passed. Loved seeing her enjoy her food. Reminded me of my mom. She loved to cook & eat, and did till almost the very end. Anyway, love watching the videos and listening to all her life adventures. So sweet!
