This short course in Mozart history is much appreciated. I love how Nelly and Mike make their videos light and engaging with their big smiles, chuckles, and enthusiasm! You always manage to make me smile, thank you for this vicarious experience 🥰 Stay safe and healthy always. God bless you 🙏🌻
It's gladdening to notice you have virtually acquired that Filipino sense of humor. It's like watching two Pinoy travel vloggers but with Austrian accents.
The architecture in Austria just hits you differently. It's so well preserved and I like the way everything's maintained and planned to keep the classic architecture with a touch of modern architecture. ❤📷
Kust like London and Paris the commercial buildings are lined up face to face along commercial areas and the ground floors are shops and restos. Great to remember my visits long ago.
Beautiful country Austria 🇦🇹, quiet, peaceful and clean, what a lovely place to live. Thank you for showing it to us 🇵🇭 please explore your food, people and the way of life . Thanks again and take care 🌴
I am super proud to be one of your subscriber, Mike and Nelly, your blog is always so imformative, like us traveling with both of you as our tourist guide with interest. Thank you for Salzburg, Wish I would have the chance to visit when in Austria again. ❤️❤️❤️
As a musician, it’s my dream to visit Salzburg. 🎶🎵🎼. I always see Mozart’s home facade on pics and videos, but never the interior. Thanks for showing us some parts of it. 🤗
Love Salzburg, its a lovely place. Will definitely go back there again when everything safe to travel😀 Love watching your vlog. Stay safe both of you in your travels.
Love Salzburg, Austria. Had the best desserts in Salzburg. And I brought them Mozart ‘balls’ back to Manila. I love them. We were there on a warm and sunny day in August. I like the way they separated the shops along pedestrian pathways and had the roads on the other side so it was safe to walk around the shops.
Totally agree. I spent one miserable Winter in Vienna - dark and grey and wet. Sun on 2 days out of three months. The worst was the Hochnebel which settles over the city - like living under bad fluorescent light, even and unchanging in quality all day . You can't guess the hour by looking at the sky. I was told the Winter darkness is a major reason for Vienna's high suicide rate. it was certainly depressing and was the main reason I didn't move there permanently.
You could say the same thing for our corner of the world - Seattle, Washington. It rains 8-9 months out of the year. In the winter it's cold, gloomy, short days. It's spectacular in the Spring and summer, though. I bet Vienna's also nice during those times.
@@rodcastillo1811 It is - Spring and Summer. Oddly I am currently living in Pittsburgh which is the 2nd greyest city in the US after Seattle! I'm moving out of here in a few weeks.
Thank you for showing us around Zalsburg. Austria is truly beautiful, hope to visit here someday and reunite with my relatives. Happy New Year lovely couple!
Austria is beautiful. I had the chance to visit Vienna many moons ago. I wanted to visit Salzburg then but didn't have the time. Thanks, Mike and Nelly, for the tour.
Been to salzburg long time ago, we were living in Germany and camped out in beautiful Garmisch and continuing on into Zalzburg. Yes it was summertime, and weather and every sightseeing is just wonderful.
Really love the parts of Austria you're showing us! My family comes from Hanover, Germany originally, and recently found evidence of coming from Denmark before that. Wish we could visit our family farmplace in Germany someday. Bless you both
Wow, learned a lot today by merely watching your video. Very educational, enjoyable, humorous and most especially as if I am also touring with you! Take care guys! Waiting for your next vlogg. 😘👍
Austria is one of the countries I really want to visit, may have been influenced from watching Sound of music LOL but a Europe tour may be cliche but it's a bucket list for me 😍
I would love to live in Europe for its beauty, history, art, music, people, cuisine. architecture, fashion and a melting pot of all nations. Anf I love the four seasons , 4 months of cold will not deter me of not staying. A train ride will take me to a different country and culture..How interesting that is ! I had the opportunity to have toured parts of Europe and would love to go back to complete my tour of the continent.
Yes Austria is a very beautiful country.. It is even made more beautiful bec of memories you both grew up in.. It's funny and cute you both have a touch of Asian humor.. If only the world has more of you.. This world becomes beautiful as well ❤️
I drove around Vienna and Salzburg while staying in nearby Munich in 2016. Beautiful out there that summer. Had the chance to visit the Mozart museum, too.
Enjoy touring Austria with you guys. Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Hallstatt. Would love to see more of your country. Will definitely put in the bucket list for me and my family to visit. 👍
Thank you Mike & Nelly, it feels like we are also a tourist letting us to see the beautiful Austria... the weather is coool compare out here in middle east... desert dry and hot but we feel the winter cold from europe tiil March i guess. Origin of the great Wolfgang Mozart...added additional wisdom again from bith u guys...thanks again... craving more from ur travel to learn & see more about eu...?....
My boss is the retired CEO of Volvo and he related me how Sweden turns to peached black at 3pm during winter and the sun is up until 11pm from 4 am where the sun is up during summer , where I told him that I can NOT live in Sweden for that reason since I came from the Far East where we have have enough sunshine during the day and night.
You're so right about the weather! I spent two weeks in Salzburg in the rain. That was back in 1978, just after I finished my military service! Damn! No you know how old I am! 😁
Was in that exact location way back in 2013 as one of the itineraries of my Danube river cruise with Uniworld. Back then, that place was crawling with lots and lots of tourists. It’s so weird to see there’s hardly anybody there anymore and it looks like an abandoned place. Me and my wife also got to see the movie location of The Sound of Music. Took lots of pictures during our visit there. Very memorable.
happy to see presently in your place and luckily to saw Mozart museum thank u one of the best original musician forever part of our music history stay safe both of u 😘✌🏻✌🏻🍀☘️
What a beautiful town! And to think that this is where one of the musical geniuses of all time was born, luv classical music BTW😘 🎻and the location for one of my fav movies, The Sound of Music🥰🎼🎹 Definitely on the list!
Oh nice to see you both there..was there many times but still love to go back there when everything is okay. Greetings from Bayern Mike und Nelly...stay safe!
Greetings from Belfast, we had a terrible weather in a day as well. I can relate, however the architecture are interesting. Thanks for the tour especially at Mozart.
Toured eastern Europe in 2017 visited Munich and stuffed ourselves everyday with German sausage. When we got to Salzburg unfortunately the museum and house of Mozart was closed. Thanks to your video we got to see the museum. Will definitely go back and explore more of eastern Europe and perhaps experience the Christmas bazaars.
Was in in Vienna in October, i will try to stay longer in Oesterreich next time so i can visit Salzburg too. Same wetter hier in Germany, overall gloomy. I miss Manila's sunny warmth!
Salzburg, such a beautiful place. Thanks for the tour Nelly and Mike . I will visit Austria 🇦🇹 when the pandemic is over. Austria is in my bucket list. Take care Nelly and Mike . Stay safe always. God bless🙏🙏
Visited Salzburg in 1999 which is so many years ago. I surely enjoyed every scenic areas which is like everywhere. The sound of music film location was the highlight of my visit then plus the drive up to the snow mountain in Zel Am See I believe. Enjoy your vacay folks!
My hubby and I were fortunate to include Austria in our itinerary when we toured Europe autumn of 2018 after his retirement. We enjoyed Salzburg specially Hallstatt. What a lovely place! Given a chance would love to go back there. My regret is we only went there on a day tour. I would like to experience staying there for a night. Love the beautiful graveyard behind the Catholic Church on top of the hill in Hallstatt. Our first stop was Mirabella of the Sound of Music Fame (our BnB was near it). Went up the H Castle and lost our way going down because we loitered through the servants qtr hence found ourselves at the backdoor going out but was happy to find a few steps away from the back door the Abbey/Monastery where Maria stayed or was wedded. Unfortunately the Cathedral at the center of the town was under renovation at that time so we weren’t able to enter it but I heard it is beautiful. Enjoyed the diff kind of breads and even brought home to the Phils the “blood sausage” I think. Btw we also reside in Taguig.
I miss Salzburg coz there used to be alot of quartets playing mozart music around the city. Sadly due to covid I wasnt able to go back last year. Hopefully this year Austria would reopen again 😀
wow, Thank you so much, Nelly and Mike, for bringing us with you again, I listen to Mozart Music only when I need to relax or if I can't sleep, we have a radio program named DZFE 98.7 under a Christian radio DZFE 702, only classical radio music ever aired here in the Philippines. hope you'll get a raffle for us for the Mozart chocolate. hehehehehe. kidding. anyways, I feel like I'm having a tour in Austria already. really appreciate much.
Very interesting to walk along places where historical figures lived. Mike's story about the chocolate ball is very similar to the story of the "servants" who had to carry the fried chicken from the outdoor kitchen to the main house. They had to whistle so owner knows they are not eating the fried chicken.
Oregon has had more rain fall in the last 4 months that I have seen and more storms. We have equal the dark rainy days. You have to hurry up and do yard work like rake leaves and mow the lawns do that sort of things. I would look H.A.R. P. The Philipines got hit really hard unless you have it inside to go really help them rebuild then staying Europe where there is actual food for yourself. The weather is really bad this year. Last year we had bad swow storm where the snow did not melt right way and was toxic.
