    I'm not sure why other window fans have become such pieces of garbage th-cam.com/users/postUgkxGjG43--gYqIoT4Xkur2PqCrtbKwTv2h6 but this one definitely is nice. It's quiet, it has buttons for different functions that you generally don't have to keep pressing over and over again like some of the others, and the remote is a nice feature. Still, button simplification could go further to single functions for each and every one, but it's decent enough. It's a very quiet fan, the quietest window fan that I have ever had, and that alone is worth the extra money over the cheaper ones.

    Good value spend in our 1970s home. My only advice, get a larger more powerful one than is standard. We still have condensation. Overall though,contains and exits moisture from the home. We use it in conjunction with a simple lounge to bedrooms heat transfer fan. This combo vents the whole house during days we are out working. Best 1k I ever spent.

    *Works great with **Fastly.Cool** , exactly as described. Love the fact that it can push, pull, or exchange air with the push of a button. The remote is a nice bonus too!*

    It's best to use a rigid metal duct tube with isolation. ..bc the interior surface is smooth and it ventilates it better rather than those flexible tubes that that have ridges were the vapor may settle and become pools of water....

    The audio portion of this tutorial was outstanding. This fan is really no different that a regular bathroom exhaust fan except the fan is further back, but it does the same thing. Simply takes air in and expels it to the outside. Big deal.

    If I was showing the concept of this I wouldn't show the discharge grille towards the weather where water can enter in. Show the grille on the eave under cover of the roof.

      You can attach a damper on the discharge grille that stops air blowing back in. I think the point of extracting straight out a wall in this animation is because you should avoid having any bends in the trunking between the in-line motor and the extraction point... otherwise the motor becomes less efficient.

    • @SHANUSHAH
      @SHANUSHAH 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It not matter of making your shower room colder, but getting rid off steam from your shower it courses condensation, which will result in mould and dampness.

    I just got a fan like this installed by an electrician and it is useless. There is still a cloud of steam in the bathroom. I'm really upset as it cost a lot of money. Why is it not working?

      Well it's simple, the fan turns on and pulls the moist air out of the bathroom. Not much to it really, but my GOD does it make a difference after a shower.
