Such sweet finds you selcted. It is hard to go to estate sales when you know the family. There is no one that will treasure these items more than you. God bless you precious lady. These items have found a loving home !!
I so agree. Estate sales are bittersweet for sure I’m glad these treasures are going to your home so they can spark wonder memories of the little lady from your church. It’s a great way to honor her. I had to laugh at the ‘professional’ opening your mattress, what a sweetheart ❤
Thank you Jen, I'm blessed to be able to have a few of her sweet things. Yes, I think we all need a professional in our lives and I'm so thankful for the one God gave us. He is definitely a sweetheart! Thank you so much for watching Jen, you are always a blessing to me.
I feel the same when I go to estate sales, I see people rummaging through their precious belongings, myself included, i always send a quiet promise I will love and care for their things as they did. You found wonderful treasures and I'm sure your precious neighbor is smiling that her treasures will be loved in your home.❤
Thank you sweet Robin. The Mother was very quite, reserved and private, so walking through her home with all of her things and her daughter's really took me back. All I could think about was would she really want this? Like you I had to tell myself that I would give the things she loved and bought a new home and one that was close by. Things like that really bother me but I also enjoy finding new treasures. I'm so thankful you understand. Love and blessings to you.
0h God Afternoon Michelle! Oh how nice to get some treasures from someone you cared about. You will have memories of her forever . I love those baskets. You reLly got some lovely things. Those candles are very old as i have a lot of them myself and i use them every year. Thank you for sharing your treasures with us. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed Sunday and stay safe my dear and Special Friends. ❤❤❤
I was thrilled to find those candles as I had only one of them. So instantly I have a nice collection. I have admired them for years at different antique stores. They will always remind me of my neighbor. God bless you my dear sweet friend!
Sweet finds. How precious to be able to get the bowl she would take to church, dinner on the grounds. It reminds me of my grandma. I LOVED the verse too! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Deb, we all went to the same church when I was growing up and I can remember her always being in the kitchen. I'm sure she made lots of goodies for people in that she shared in that bowl. I'm excited to have it. Thank you for watching dear friend! God bless you!
I agree that estate sales are bitter sweet .My husband and I have no parents living but I did save some of their precious items that carry more memories than money value. Those little candles are so precious. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing how you style these lovely finds. ❤❤
I couldn't agree with you more, it's not the money value of the things we have from the ones we love, I always say it's the simple things that evoke a memory that I love the most. I'm so thankful you have some of your parents treasures, the ones I have mean so much to me and I'm sure yours does as well. Thank you for watching sweet friend, God bless you!
Michele how special to get some things you will treasure from your neighbor’s estate sale. I love the sewing notions, the beautiful baskets, the New Testaments, the cameo, the Gurley candles and the stained ironstone. The McCoy vase is also beautiful. I loved seeing Easton the professional open the mattress😊. Y’all have a wonderful weekend sweet friends. Love and blessings 🧡🍁💛
Thank you precious friend. I would always see her on the back porch sweeping it off and when I was leaving the sale I saw the old straw broom and had to grab it. I swept off my back porch tonight and it almost made me cry thinking of her. I will enjoy her sweet treasures and I have a few I want to share with you. Please forgive me for being so far behind on my videos, my job is so crazy and stressful I just can't keep up. I hate missing out but I know one day I'll have a chance to get caught up. Love you so much my precious friend.
@@YVYOU Michele I stay behind too so truly don’t worry about it. I’m sorry your job is so stressful. I know that makes it so hard. I’m honored you want to share some of her treasures with me. You’re such a sweet, caring lady. Try and get some rest this weekend. Love you lots🧡🧡🧡
I would have grabbed the ironstone like it was gold. LOL. It's so nice to just reflect on the pieces we find and treasure and even if we don't know who once owned them, it's nice to pay tribute to their lives by putting pieces from their lives into ours and caring for them. TFS.
Hi Michelle, it’s such a fun time watching your videos. Truly, a walk down memory lane. I have my dad’s small New Testament. It was given to him by the local banker who personally referenced John 3:16 and dated each Bible before young boys were going off to war. I loved shopping at TG&Y. When my grandmother purchased her treadle Singer Sewing machine, she kept all the receipts for the cash payments of $2 a week in one of the drawers. The wooden spools of thread and old buttons neatly kept along with mending items, needles, hook and eye etc. The items are treasures. Thanks for sharing them with us. ❤❤
Oh thank you for sharing such sweet memories with me. I love that your Daddy was given a small New Testament from the local banker and to think he gave one to each young man before they went to war. Oh how sweet. I also love that your grandmother keep her payments, don't you just adore things like that. They are so special. You truly blessed my heart by sharing that with me. Thank you precious friend!
Yes, treasure the things of loved ones and, also, things of people who we have fond memories of. The glass piggy bank...had it as a child. Also, the candle angel...mom had. Be safe, my friend, and GOD BLESS 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 ❤❤❤from Pennsylvania ❤❤❤ 😊😊😊
Thank you my sweet Jean, you know that I will. I had to have that bowl with her initial on it because I can just see her bringing something special to church in that bowl. I'm so glad I grabbed that sweet bank and how fun to know you had one too. Be blessed our beautiful friend! Love you!
Hi Michele and Cheryl and Easton! ❤ I love those candles and even the dog figurines! I’m sorry about the loss of your neighbors but I’m glad you can give their treasures a loving home! Love you my friend! Big hugs! ❤❤❤
You bought so many beautiful treasures and memories from your neighbor l love the old box too 💚having a professional opening a mattress is awesome and much needed 🥰❤️have a blessed weekend🙏❤️🙏
I couldn't agree more, I think everyone needs a professional in their live and I wouldn't trade mine for the world. I'm so glad you like old boxes too, I want to rescue them all!!! LOL!
You found some delightful things at the Estate Sale. Don’t know if I ever told you but I was an Estate liquidator for 32 years and a certified appraiser.
Danna, I had no idea...you didn't tell me that. I often think I would love doing something like that but I also know it is a ton of hard work. I also know it would make my heart sad because I always have that same feeling when I go to an estate sale.... You always amaze me sweet friend!
Thank you Debbie I sure hope so. I was in the attic apartment when I found the box and I couldn't really tell what it was but because of all the people I grabbed it and when I realized what it was I was so excited. I have only found one at the thrift store one day and now I have so many that I can display and think of my neighbor. Thank you for watching sweet friend!
I have a small silver tinsel tree that was a gift from a friend and it came in the original box from TG&Y, each Christmas when I pull it out it reminds me the store we had here. I loved going there and when my sister Tammi was in high school she got a job there for a short time. I still have her name tag. Sweet and precious memories. Thank you for sharing that with me!
I'm so glad you remember TG&Y! It was a fun place to shop, although all I can really remember is the outside of the building and walking around the store with my Mother. I was young but I can still remember exactly where it was at. I love those baskets too and was excited to find them. Thank you for remember with me.
Good morning my sweet friend! So happy to send part of my morning with you.😊 I love those wicker laundry baskets. I have a small one & a med sized one. I gave my larger one to my daughter. The chest is neat too. The little doilie is sweet, really pretty. Love the box of old sewing supplies. My mom sewed & i tend to love those type this, like you said its so nostalgic. I pick things like that up too. My mom kept A Merita fruitcake tin in her sewing machine drawer with threads, buttons, a measuring tape, pins & several little things. I was in an antique store walking & turned my head & looked down & there was that same exact tin full of Old spools of thread! I ran for it! When I took my things to ck out the owner said the thread was $2 a spool. So I was going to leave the thread behind. As she was ringing me up i was telling her why i was buying the tin & she just put the thread back in the tin & put it in the bag🥹 i keep it with all the pieces displayed on A shelf. I had the measuring tape & a tomato pin cushion so i keep it all together. That was definitely A sweet God wink!😊 I'm going to pick up a thimble, some of the packaged needles, bobbins, some old black handled scissors, some buttons & a seam ripper when i find them. Those are the things I remember being in the tin. The long, round wooden piece with the machine needles in it is cool! Love the number testament! The cameo is gorgeous! I've been looking for one, i want to attach it to a piece of velvet & frame it in an old ornate frame. Makes A beautiful piece of Victorian art! I've yet to find one.🤷♀️ I could order one, but I'm holding out for a vintage piece! That one is really unique. Love the collie dogs.. we had one when i was a little girl, her name was Lassie of course.😊 And the minature bust was awesome, love it! The little candles are sweet. Oh Wow those stained & crazed platter & plate are awesome pieces! I know some ladies would have a fit over them, especially at that price! I love them!❤ Great haul Michelle! Really cool pieces! Of course I enjoyed, i always enjoy any time i get to spend with a great friend!😊 Great verse.. God is definitely my to, my strength & my savior! I couldn't make it a day without him, especially these last few months. Thanks for sharing. Love you sweet friend & i pray you have a blessed weekend!🙏🏻❤
Does the matter mattress really work on cooling? Or last mattress was a memory foam & i loved it, it was so comfy! But it was getting so old! I've seen as many cooling ones & always wondered if they really work.. having hot flashes & night sweats, i would love to have one if they really work!
Tammy I love that you shared that story with me, how incredible! It sure makes my heart happy to hear such sweet memories. You always make me feel like we are sitting together having a conversation and I can't thank you enough for that. God is always my strength and lately I feel like I have needed it so much. I love you friend and I'm always praying for you and your family. Yes, the bed feels cooling to me but I also sleep with a small fan blowing on my face and the ceiling fan. So far I have really enjoyed it. Let me try it a bit longer and I will let you know if I feel like it keeps me cool.
I just loved everything you got! The baskets were great and that sewing kit. I have items from my mother’s sewing basket and it’s amazing what things cost years ago. My mom and her sisters use to make crafty things with those marbles. They would heat them in a skillet to get that crackled effect. My mother had a rooster picture she made out of them. The beautiful scarf and lace, the wooden hangers. Can’t wait to see the Christmas items you’ve found. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Thank you Karen I was excited about the baskets. Isn't it fun to see the prices on things, I just love that! I had no idea you could heat marbles up to make them crack, I bet that was an amazing rooster! I can only remember my mother and her sisters getting together to make snow people out of batting, I was always so excited when she pulled them out each year. Now I'm wondering what happened to them? Thank you for sharing your memories, it warms my heart.
Susan, I was so excited to find that box of candles and had no idea what all it was until I unwrapped each one from the tissue paper. What a fun surprise! Love the ironstone too! Thank you for watching dear friend! Love and blessings!
First I want to say I am sorry for your loss of neighbors. You got such adorable finds that bring back wonderful memories. The piggy bank is one like I had as a baby so you know that was very old.i am sure she would be happy to know that you got them and will cherish them and bring wonderful members of her. Easton I glade to know you are a professional mattress unwrapped.
Jeanie I have the best professional around!! Thank you for sharing that about the piggy bank, but I know you are not that old!!! I plan to give it to Easton, I figured he would enjoy it. You know I have to pay for his professional services someway! Love you so much dear friend, hope your weekend is blessed. We are going to Easton's last football game of the year, it's sad that its over, he was so much fun to watch.
How precious to have some of your neighbors treasures and loved pieces!!! I went to an estate sale today and purchased several wonderful things!!!!! 6 Ironstone pieces 😊, vintage wash stand, little cabinet some vintage Christmas ❤, it was a good sale. Can’t wait to see your vintage Christmas haul and love loved the crazing on those dishes
Oh that sounds dreamy Garnet! I'm so glad you found some fun things. I love it when that happens, just puts the biggest smile on your face. You'll have to share your gorgeous home with me again this year for the holidays, I have no doubt it will be stunning again this year. Wish I could've gone shopping with you today. Love you sweet friend!
@@YVYOU I will absolutely share it again this year!!! And I also wish you could have gone shopping with me, I have no doubt we’d have a blast and blessed time!!!❤️. Please say a prayer for our local community, a parent stabbed a principal yesterday at an elementary school, he is critical but stable condition! This world is so scary anymore😔.
Oh my goodness! What wonderful finds! You picked everything i would have! What fun! I love cameos! What a unique one! Oh and the bibles!❤ I love old sewing boxes too! It's so special that you got items from someone you knew. How special because I know you will cherish them. I enjoyed this video! What stories are behind each piece! So precious! Thanks again and God bless you and your family!
Thank you sweet friend, it's an honor to have a few of her special things and I will certainly love them and think of them. I always think about things like you mentioned, what stories can these pieces tell. Thank you for watching sweet friend, it's a blessing to hear from you!
It's been fun finding a home for some of them and then trying to figure out where to put them up until after the holidays. It was a blessing to have a few of her sweet things. Thank you for watching!
You got some really amazing pieces, sweet friend! I cannot wait to see how you style some of these. The pitcher is precious! Thank you for sharing. Love you!
Thank you Donna, I was so excited to unwrap each candle, it was so much fun! The ironstone and the bibles are my favorites as well. Thank you for watching sweet friend!
Love all your finds. I love the candles...i just started collecting them! And the ironstone is wonderful! I loved going through my mommas sewing box...sweet memories.
What is it about going through a sewing box. We had my grandmother's and I love when my momma would let me look all through it. Thank you so much for watching!
Love your estate haul. So many treasures. I’ve never been to an estate sale but maybe I’ll go to one in the future. I’m glad you got the opportunity to rehome some of your neighbors belongings. I sometimes feel like items have feelings and memories. It’s a good feeling to rescue things from oblivion. Looking forward to next week’s video. I’m ready to start thinking about Christmas. God bless you
I hope you get to go Linda, I really did enjoy seeing all of her sweet things but it also hurt my heart to see them all going in different directions. Just a reminder that although we love things here, they are only temporary but the treasures we lay up in heaven will last for an eternity. It's an honor to have a few of her special things and I will definitely love them as she did. YES, I'm getting excited about Christmas and all of the things just ready for it to feel a bit cooler here. Love and blessing to you my dear friend!
Such sweet video, Michele. You are so thoughtful toward your neighbors. I love the baskets and the cameo. I have been collecting old brooches so I can do a small Christmas tree like you did last year. Love the little dogs and the candles too. Take care.💝💝💝
How fun Kathy, I know your tree will be gorgeous. I really don't have many cameos but that one caught my eye. I've never seen a dark one before. It was a blessing to have a few of her sweet treasures. Thank you for watching sweet friend!
She would probably be thrilled to know that you have her things because she would know that you will cherish and take care of them. I recently debated buying a bowl that I collect but figured I had spent enough that day. Stopped by the shop yesterday and the bowl had a huge chip out of it. I regret not taking it home to cherish it. Such a handsome professional box opener! ❤. Pretty mattress! So…you have been holding back vintage Christmas.🎅 I guess I will forgive you since you will have a big reveal soon. I managed to get several new items that are suppose to be viral items this year. I had to do some driving but bought two of the blow mold elves from Lowe’s and the “My Texas House” Christmas tree. This sister is not rolling her eyes over your purchase but they are popping out over it! 🤩 Sweet! Yeah, the devil wants us to feel weary…I resist!
We are funny creatures aren't we? I have so many sentimental ties to things that are broken, I want to love them and not have them thrown away. I always imagine them brand new and wonder who was the first person to love it enough to buy it first. Yes, we all need a professional in our lives and I wouldn't trade mine for the world. He is always my helper! I do have a few things to share, not as much as I would like but some vintage goodies I have been able to find over the year. The viral things go so fast, like you I have been looking for a few things from store to store with not much luck. I'm glad you grabbed one of the trees, I see people selling them online for twice the money. Please send me a picture for Christmas, I need to see your vintage goodness. I think Cheryl's exact words when I grabbed them out of the pile was...MICHELE....really? I just laughed, because trust me my eyes were poppin too!!
Hi Michele-your haul was so interesting. What great pieces at such a low price. I had the same lidded wicker basket when i first got married (1973). I had a friend that was moving and she had a whole room of wicker and plants. I bought it all and it qas t cheap. . Settee, chairs, trunk, etc. I had to sell it all to make room for a baby no less 😮😅 ! How neat and tidy that sewing box is. It was a nice look and immaculate. Mine not so much. I always love McCoy. Now I don't doubt how glorious that new mattress is-but if you were sleeping on a 20 year old mattress, girl??!!!(been there). Just saying. And how wonderful that they sponsored your video😊. Have a blessed day....
Awe sweet Judy, if you lived closer I would gift that lidded wicker basket to you. I do think she must have bought it as a set with the laundry basket because they match perfectly. I found the basket in the garage apartment full of material and craft books. I couldn't unload it quick enough and when she said 5 for both pieces I was in shock. A good shock of course!! I was really hoping to find lots of old Christmas but sadly there wasn't much. The mattress is wonderful, its the coziest bed I have ever had. So blessed by their Heim Nest! Have a great weekend dear friend!
@@YVYOU You are so sweet, Michele, and so kind. You know, there's nothing like a warm, soft, cozy bed. I bet you're sleeping better. We have a hybrid bed with the foam and coil. It has just enough "snuggle" for me and enough support for my bad back. But the cost! Like you we'd had the same mattress almost 20 years. Im so glad you were able to partner with Heim. When you're an Easton, you can sleep on a rock. When you're a Judy, you need a little more comfort.😉😉 That boy is a hoot! God bless you. Like many, Friday doesn't come soon enough for me! ❤
Thank you for sharing that with me Nancy, I didn't realize that. I just always get excited when I can see the stamp so clearly and this one was perfect. How fun to know...thank you!

@YVYOU always in my prayers sweet friend!🙏🏻
Awesome Haul!!! Love the vintage candles ❤ And the ironstone!!!!
Susan, I was so excited to find that box of candles and had no idea what all it was until I unwrapped each one from the tissue paper. What a fun surprise! Love the ironstone too! Thank you for watching dear friend! Love and blessings!
We might have to try that mattress out! Love all your treasures from your neighbor, it’s a bittersweet blessing. Love you sweet friend! ❤
I do love the mattress, it feels like a cloud. Yes, it's very bittersweet! Love you my dear friend!
Such nice finds that you’ve gotten. I’m anxious to see them displayed throughout your home. ❤
Love you!
Thank you sweet Emily, love you!
I LOVE old boxes, too!!!
YAY!!! I'm so drawn to them, I'm not sure why but they just make me happy! I'm glad I have a fellow box rescuer friend!!!

You got great items. Easton loves to help his aunt out🙂.
I think everyone needs a professional in their live! He is definitely a keeper!!! Love and blessing sweet friend!
Love those ironstone pieces
Oh me too! I was so excited!!!
Great finds.
Thank you so much, it was a good day! Thank you for watching!
Enjoyed seeing your finds -- understand the bittersweet too. Loved the baskets. Lord willing i am going to a moving sale tomorrow nearby where i live.
I hope you have lots of fun April and find lots of goodies that can live on and be enjoyed. Love and blessings to you!
I live in Kansas and we had tg&y
Wasn't it the best? Thank you for sharing!
The black stamp on the ironstone tells us it is the oldest produced
Thank you for sharing that with me Nancy, I didn't realize that. I just always get excited when I can see the stamp so clearly and this one was perfect. How fun to know...thank you!
