Wished I'd bought one back in the '80s. Still kicking myself in the butt for not also buying the Gerber BMF. Almost impossible to find either knife in like new condition.

Yes! Much better than a 184. Nothing compares. Balance, proportions... unfortunately I was exposed to this knife at a young age and so no other knife has really done it for me. I always thought it was a custom knife till I found this video wading through all the 184s........

Picked one up virtually brand new a few years back for a 75 bucks at a gun show bc the dude didn’t know what it was.

Curious, what the blade length on the 185 LT?

I just bought a non stamped 184 in mint condition with everything it originally came with, I like the looks of the 184 better than the 185 although I might purchase a 185 just so I’ll have both. I paid 1100 dollars for my 184 so why not buy a 185 as well.

WOW just WOW, a micrometer reading of .235" just .500 thousandths short of a quarter inch, last time I checked a
quarter inch is .250" and your blade is .500" short of a quarter inch making it a thickness of negative .250" how can
we believe anything you say, and you are a locksmith? one I would never hire to even mow my lawn. And you have not
corrected yourself after four years since you posted this video.

Wow, you're flexing on TH-cam with your mint and unmolested knives. It must be quite an accomplishment for you. Someday we can all be as cool as you. I have a Buckmaster 184 that I bought back around 1984-ish at the small PX on our remote border camp in West Germany. I carried it in the field for roughly three years until I ETS'd. I still have it and it still gets occasional use. I love how people buy stuff like this and expect the world to envy them just for having it. What experiences do you have to offer the world with your princess collection?
