Brad, Your instruction and format is invaluable. The majority of fisherman are shorebound and are likely not using the right set-ups or tactics. I appreciate the collaboration the three of you use. Friendship and fellowship is an important part of every fishing experience! God Bless you sir!
I’m coming down in April. Is the west side parking under perdido pass bridge still closed? If so where do you park for fishing the jetties? Grew up down there. Now I’m up near myrtle beach SC. Love what y’all are doing down there.
Unless you are needing a pier net, frabill makes a folding and collapsible version (kwik stow?) that I use in my kayak and also clip it to my tackle bag/pack thing I carry. Hands free so you can pack some rods and your bait cooler.
Why didn't you take your boat out to the jetties like the other boats? When I get a fish snagged on something, I open my bail. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. As you discovered later on! I think that last fish could have been a black drum maybe? A very large Mangro is another possibility. Either way, great day, even if you let the net in the truck!😄
A suggestion, they make super glue in small 1-2 application tubes where you get about 5 or 6 in a pack. Super glue was invented for M.A.S.H. UNITS . It will disinfect a cut and seal it up. You can also use it to seal knots on your fishing line. Keep some in your tackle box.
I have done played Billy goat 🐐 sooo many times. Broke a reel, less than a week old, during a tumble. If I had your boat, I would be near the rocks but not on them. Keep up the great videos guys!
So happy I get to binge watch videos now that I’m done studying and taking my two exams for certifications(CompTIA Network+ and Security+). Tryin to get a career to allow me to play on the beach, very tired of looking at all this snow in Central MN
Suggestion: Here in Texas we fish a slip cork alot around jetties so we can fish different water column for sheepies. One of the best setup with a high succes rate. Give it a try!
This is depressing, the family and I usually come down there every year for vacation. As luck would have it, I had another heart attack and had to have open heart surgery last month. The 💩part is I'm gonna be out of work until early to mid May. So no vacation/fishing for my son and I this spring or summer. And, I was really looking forward to coming to the new store too.☹
I'd be mad if I paid one of those guides and they took me to the jetty, where I could've walked like you guys and killed it. Nice vid. The net is a game changer😂
Brad I fish rocks a lot, I took a painters extension pole and put a net on it so I could get my fish without stepping on wet rocks because I fail and busted the back of my head one time and it has been a game changer
@@BeardedBrad92 is the things you learn when you get older and can’t get down in those rocks anymore but you still want to fish like your 25, I have finished on rocks for 25 years and it has ruined my back. Keep that in mind when you’re out there on those rocks, and I love the channel, but you need to lose that peacher for not getting that fish out of the rocks. Beach bomb would’ve fit right down in there and you would’ve took that fish home and not had a broken bell. Lol
@@BeardedBrad92 ya know, I am available to film for you and I can fetch stuff. I also remodel, paint, and fix stuff. And I can speak Spanish fluently, which could help with the tackle shop. Y'all might want me to work for you. My references are excellent. I catch fish too.
@@BeardedBrad92 cheers glad you got that sheep loose from the rocks. Sucks it banged up your reel but sure a certain tackle shop could help out with that. Cheers thanks again
I know a few guys who do a lot of rock-hopping and wear steel cleats on their shoes for extra grip. I have no idea if it helps or not, but they swear by them. It's always funny to me seeing guys drop $50k on a boat to sit off a pier and cast back into it. I'm guilty of having done this so I suppose I can't complain too much lol. Would a dropper rig help prevent snags there?
Love videos like this. Idk why I have subscribe to your channel till today cuz I watch Brant and Bama beach bum all the time. Y'all three are my favorite to watch. And jw. How long have y'all know each other and been friends. Y'all remind me of an 2 really good friends of mine and myself. Unfortunately only one of them are with still. Love y'all guys keep the awesome videos coming. I might not hit the like button on all of them but I'm sure Ive watched all of y'all videos. Except bearded brad. I'ma binge watch your videos today probably. Or as many as I can lol. Keep em coming
Would be awesome to meet y'all guys one day. I'm out of Tallahassee, Florida bout an hour from the beach or 15 to 20 minutes away from any lake or river in the area ( lake talquin, lake Jackson, Ochlocknee River and a couple small ponds).
I'm going to be up in your area at the beginning of next month, not exactly sure when. I have an appointment for my solar to be looked at on the 30th.. traveling in a 5th wheel.. are there any rv parks that you could recommend? Need a pet friendly park that would allow a large dog.. side by side riding/kayak fishing close by or at said park would be a plus..

Good job man... YOU KNEW THERE WERE SOME SHEEPSHEAD OUT THERE!!!!🎣
That jetty fishing is tough, but well worth it. Some nice sheepheads you guys caught. Come on folks, let's get Brad to 50k subscribers!!
Go Vols! Jetty Fishing, whew. I still have scars from Jetty Fishing Mayport back in the late 80's Navy days.
GBO!
Saying the "net is in the bed of my truck" is like getting skunked and saying "the fish are in the water" hahahahahaha
Up in the northeast we used korkers with spikes on the jettys. Makes you feel like Spider-Man out there!

Try felt sole shoes for the jetties. Fly fisherman use felt soles for slippery rocks in streams. They work pretty good as a slip gaurd.

Nice rescue for the fish. But those slippery rocks look dangerous

Super glue is the ultimate bandaid
Technically, you should be using medical grade superglue on wounds. Can’t say I haven’t used good ol’ regular superglue on a paper cut, though.
Great video, guys! Glad you freed the fish. I do love the banter between you guys. Thanks!
NIce video guys... Get that store open. money money money
Getting close!

That being said I hope you been well man 🙏🏻
I watch all y'all fishing shows. Ron and his family too. It's motivation to get loose and do some fishing myself.
Too late on the Rod, The rod obviously surpassed the test. 🤣🤣🤣 Nice work though....rather not have a trapped fish....Nice work!
Y’all need to design a shoe that would give y’all grip on the rocks. You can call them Jetty Readys
There is a rock jetty between Clearwater and Sand Key awesome fishing like this especially giant Snook
No Net! Big Sheep, Great Viewing
Try out the Gamakatsu live bait hooks. Small hooks but thick wire, I use em for carp and TYPigpatrol uses them for Alligator gar so they don't bend
Go Kohen go!!! And always take your net. 😜
Nice fishing buddy 👍👍👍. But take a net next time.😊
Nice guys….I need some of this in my life!!
Suggestion: Here in Texas we fish a slip cork alot around jetties so we can fish different water column for sheepies. One of the best setup with a high succes rate. Give it a try!
I to live in Texas. I tell them the same thing over and over . They never try it. 🙄
Makes sense. Easy to cast and fewer snags.
My vote is for ray. Caught several from a boat from that jetty.
Definitely possible
Do rays go under rocks like that? I don't know much about them.
Nice video. Might want to take a net next time. Haha
Cool video. Yeah I had to dump the Eagle Claws cause they always broke when removing with pliers. Went to Owner baitholders and never looked back.
Man that looked like a lot a fun out there👍👍 Guess I got to venture out the jetty sometime.
Jetty cleats!

Wait, you literally have a tackle shop and didn't bring a net?! 😂 I saw your comment on Brant's bridge video and couldn't resist.
It was in my truck!!

Bread you can throw that jacked up reel my way, in my next crap corner order.
Damn what day did you fish I’m at Perdido beach resort right now. Would buy ya drink if I met ya. Thanks for the years of great videos
Last Friday

If Brandt was really there to help you, he would have walked back and got the net.
Lol that’ll never happen!
Weights are in the gym, in fishing they are called sinkers
Whats up mr vol
playing the Ragin’ Cajuns tonight
Go vols
That was a big bull red
Let’s get Brad a net sponsor asap 😂
😂
We need more Ron
My money is on that was a oversized Menhadden 😂
Gotta start stocking much better hooks

There’s a bunch around here. I don’t have any experience with any of them
Bro looks like you could have used a net! Way to achieve your goals in the face of adversity!😂
I hope you got that vessel endorsement on your driver’s license before you take your boat out. lol
it was one that got away
Black crappie
You guys must be using hooks from the “crap corner”! 😂
😂
Enjoyed your video. Great camera quality. I love fishing the jetties too.
You need a back pack with supplies.....and your net in it. Be easy to carry and still have your hands free
Jettys look very fun, but pretty dangerous. Where did you buy those hooks??
Buddy you should wear corkers at the jetty if you don’t want to break anything.
Even the guys on the boat have nets FAIL LOL
It would be nice to have a net
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Brad just one question why you all fish on the other side of the rock jetty
Shame on you for not bringing the net! ;)
I know I know
Just take the boat lol . One wrong step and might break somthing
I'm getting a great education on how to fish without a net .... 😆
😂
Go Beach Bum outdoors and get a new one!
LOL you can send me that old reel
We don't use eagle claw hooks steelhead and salmon, too wimpy !!
My guess is....the one that got away fish....
Was there a falling out with CMR? Haven’t seen him on lately.
definitely a whiting. LOL
Imagine buying a boat and them crowding the shore guys. Googans.
Should of pushed brant in. Hate that dude. Love ur videos when brant isn't in it
Wonder why the guy didnt go back to the Dock. , Instead of out on those rocks
What happened to Ron?
Lol
Not to be that guy but was there a falling out w CMR
Going to start a net go fund me for Brad. Clearly lying about having one at this point.
Boats near the shore is bad manners.
Incredible Brad. Don't know you. Never met you. Saving the sheeohead life is awesome. Vote Democrat.
Trump/DeSantis 2024!
i can fix that slammer, easy fix
Told you brother. I don't know what more proof you need ! Sorry I can't watch this video
It always makes me feel uncomfortable watching you fish on the Jetty.
All the houses look the same Gettos!!!
You guys own a tackle store and don't bring a net. Come on man!
Bro bring a few water bottles full of dry beach sand to put down on the jetty rock you are going to land them from…
Not a bad idea!
