Hi, I just found your channel today. You mentioned you wanted to learn who each member is and you thought you knew who a couple were, but you were remembering incorrectly, so I wanted to help you out. :) You mentioned that the first rapper for this song was the same first rapper from Mic Drop, but it wasn't. There are 3 rappers. In BTS you will see the Rapper line (3), Dance line (4), and Vocal line (4). Some members are in more than one line. First is RM (formerly known as Rap Monster), real name is Kim Nam-joon. (FYI, their last names are written and spoken first, as is a common practice in Asia.) He is in the Rap line, he is the leader of BTS, Rapper, speaks fluent English, writes the lyrics of most of their music, was the first member of BTS, and gave a memorable speech at the UN back in September. Dancing is not a strong talent of his, so he works very hard to keep up with the dance line, he was a street rapper before joining BTS. He is known as the "God of Destruction" because he breaks everything. He is sometimes referred to as the "Dad" of the group. He is also known for his incredible mind. He has an IQ of 148. He is the tallest member. His birthday is September 12th. He is 4th eldest of the group (the bridge between the older members and the younger members), but because he is the Leader, he holds more rank and is treated with respect by the members that are older than him. In Mic Drop he was the blonde rapper that came out of the ambulance wearing the red coat switching into the "media" room wearing the black shirt. In Airplane pt.2, RM was the first rapper. He was standing on a small stage with a blonde man (Jin) and then was sitting at the bar rapping. In Fake Love he was, again, the first rapper that lead with "I wanna be a good man" you had said you were not expecting him to "come out like that". To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo works. "Joke", "Do You", "Change" (a song he did with Wale), “Oh!rul8,2?”, “Love”, & “Reflection” is a good start. Though, it does have some strong language, just warning you.
Second is Jin, real name is Kim Seok-jin. He is in the Vocal line. He is the eldest "brother" (Hyung) of the group and as such should receive the most respect from all members, though he does not enforce this (such customs are strong in Korean culture) because he does not want to overstep RM's role as leader. His role is Lead Visual (for K-pop the "visual" member is considered the best looking and the focal point of the group's image. You will often see Jin taking a center role in their story line mvs.) and vocalist. He was recruited when a member of Big Hit saw him getting off a bus and was impressed with his good looks and approached him. His goal is to be an actor and even went to school for it. When he joined the group he had no previous training nor did he know how to sing or dance. The other members say he practices the hardest because he does not want to hold back his members. He can cook really well and is always cooking for the members, especially on their birthdays. He is known for his "Dad Jokes" and he is referred to as the "Mom" of the group because of how he takes care of everyone. He is tied with V as the second tallest member. He is a self-taught guitarist and even taught himself how to play his song “Epiphany” on the piano so he could play it live during performances. His birthday is December 4th. In Mic Drop, when the beat winds down, the screen goes black and white and after RM says: "Good Luck", Jin is the member at the front center of the 'pyramid' singing. In Airplane pt.2, Jin is the blonde singing "we still" in a really high tone on the stage with RM. In Fake Love, he is the guy "in the tornado" not running. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. "Awake" and "Epiphany". Third we have Suga, real name is Min Yoon-gi. He is in the Rap line. He is the second eldest member of the group and also a rapper. He produces most of their music. Just like RM, he was an underground rapper before joining BTS and was the second member to join. He is known for his "cold" demeanor and blunt words. However that is a misconception, he is an extreme introvert but he cares very deeply for his members & fans. He is very supportive & encourages the members & fans & gives his all. He was never a “dancer” before joining the group, but he did used to B-boy & he can hold his own despite a terrible shoulder injury he sustained in an accident before they debuted. He is referred to as the "Dad" of the group (sometimes as the Grandpa because of his grumpiness) because of the way he cares for the members and because he is always the one fixing things that are broken (mostly by RM). He also is pretty skilled at cooking. He is known for always being tired and wanting to sleep, mainly because he doesn't sleep much due to his Insomnia and he is a work-a-holic. He is a trained pianist and is freaking AMAZING. He is second to the shortest by only 1 cm, though, no one dares tease him about it, and he doesn’t seem to mind it either. His birthday is March 9th. In Mic Drop he was the second rapper that came in when they said "Mic Mic Bungee" and also when the screen went red and 2 members flew back in slow motion. In Airplane pt. 2 he was the third rapper, wearing the fringe top, and took us to the outdoors area for the rest of the song. In Fake Love, he was also the third rapper, he threw the guitar, said "It's all fake love" and was sitting in the room with the fire. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work, you'll find it under the alter ego name: Agust D. “Agust D”, “Give it to me”, “First love”, “Never Mind”, and “Seesaw” are a good place to start, though just like with RM, be prepared for strong language on some of them.
Fourth we have J-Hope, real name is Jung Ho-seok. He is in the Rap and Dance line. He is the third eldest member of the group and the third rapper, as well as a sub-vocalist. He had never sang nor rapped before joining BTS but he was famously known as a street dancer winning many awards. He is also the lead dancer. He works with their choreographer to learn all of their dances quickly and to incorporate his own moves, and then he tirelessly teaches the other members to perfection. It is said, dances that takes other days to learn, he can learn in hours. He was a street dancer before joining BTS. He is known for his bright and sunshine personality, quick with smiles and an over the top extra personality. He acts this way and chose his stage name because he wanted to "be the hope for our fans and my members, so they will always be happy and not have worries). However, when it comes to choreography, his personality does a complete 180 and the members say he is scarier than Suga. He is fifth in line for height. His birthday is February 18th. In Mic Drop, he was the first rapper that jumped over the table and was the one that turned back to back with Suga saying "Mic Mic Bungee". In the outdoor sequence he wore the all red suit. In Airplane pt. 2, he was the second rapper that danced on the bar. In Fake Love, he was the second rapper you saw after coming through the key hole and he was in the room and on top of the pile of Snickers. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. “Airplane” (the part 1, btw), “Boy meets evil”, “Mama”, and “Just Dance” is a good place to start. Fifth we have Jimin, real name is Park Ji-min. He is in the Dance and Vocal line. He is fifth eldest in the group, a vocalist and a dancer. He is skilled in street dance but he is also trained in contemporary dance. And he dances beautifully. Before joining BTS, he had never sang before and is not a trained singer. Because of this, he is extremely self-conscious, and often will get very depressed and is too hard on himself when he makes any mistake. He is a perfectionist. However, it is said that his voice is like hearing the Angels, it is so light and pure. He is a clumsy boy and falls a lot. He is often teased because he is the shortest of the members (only 1 cm shorter than Suga). He is also teased because his shoulder is always “accidentally” becoming exposed as they dance. He is known for listening to the burdens of the other members and comforting them and helping them through their hard times. He tries to come off as confident and outgoing but often will end up flustered and hiding shyly. He also has a habit of hitting the other members when he gets embarrassed. His birthday is October 13th. In Mic Drop you see him at the beginning dancing and wearing the bucket hat and his shoulder exposed. In Airplane pt.2, he dances up to Jungkook and takes the “microphone” from him and starts singing. In Fake Love he was the one wearing the leopard shirt in the blue room with the water rushing in. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. “Lie”, “Serendipity”, and “Promise” is a good place to start.
Sixth we have V, real name is Kim Tae-hyung. He is in the Dance and Vocal line. He is the second to youngest in the group, a vocalist, dancer, and visual. He was scouted when he accompanied a friend to auditions and they asked him to audition. His looks were so unique and beautiful that they kept him a complete mystery until they debuted. Big Hit called him their secret weapon, however this was a very painful experience for V. When he joined he had never danced or sang but he had some lessons but was told he didn’t have any talent. He is an extreme extrovert and is described by his fellow members as being innocent and pure and still untainted by the world. He easily befriends anyone he meets. He is also the only member to have acted in a drama (Hwarang, it’s fabulous) and he won an award for his acting. He is nicknamed “CG V” because he is so unbelievably good looking, people say he is too perfect, he must be Computer Generated (CG). He is also praised highly for his performance presence and the facial expressions he makes while performing (or while goofing off). He is tied with Jin as the second tallest member. His voice is the deepest of the vocalists (and perhaps the group but we don’t know who is deeper, V or RM) and is described as “soulful”. He was ranked as the #1 most handsome man in the world in 2017 and the #1 most handsome man in Asia in 2018. He is very humble and does not think he is that handsome and will get shy when someone tells him he is. He is also known for when he coined the term “Borahae” which means “I purple you” Which means “I love you and trust you forever”. His birthday is December 30th. In Mic Drop he is the other one (aside from Suga) that is wearing a bandana on his forehead, and when they are dancing and there is an explosion, he is the one in the front center wearing red pants and the sparkly red jacket. In Airplane pt.2, he was the first person you see that walks into the bar and sits down and the last one that you see that turns around at the end. In Fake Love he is the first one that begins singing, the one that is in the room with all of the flashing phones and the phone that turns into sand. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. “Stigma” & “Singularity”. Lastly, the seventh member is Jungkook, real name is Jeon Jung-kook. He is in the Dance and Vocal line (and is considered an honorary member of the Rap line). He is the Makanae (youngest member) of the group, he is the main vocalist and a dancer. He joined the group at the tender age of 14 and has essentially been raised by the members of BTS. He is also an introvert. He is a trained dancer but had never sang until he auditioned for a singing competition, which he didn’t get far in. However he received a ton of offers from companies but rather than choosing one of the larger companies he chose to join BigHit & BTS because of RM. He was so impressed by RM and admired him greatly. He was ranked as #2 most handsome man in the world for 2018. He is nicknamed as the “Golden Makanae” because he is good at EVERYTHING he does. Literally. Running, basketball, archery, dancing, singing, rapping, playing piano, etc. Even if he had never done it before, he will learn and master it quickly. He is praised for his young, fresh, and innocent looks. He is fourth in height of the group. He is praised for his exceptional vocals and is considered to have the most stable vocals of the group while dancing. He is extremely shy, but has flourished because of the care of his members (Hyungs). As the main vocalist, you will often find him front and center in their performances, dances, and mvs. In Mic Drop he is the one in the camo pants dancing on the left after J-hope starts rapping and the one dancing alone for a moment after the ambulance scene with RM. In Airplane pt.2 he is the first one to start singing. In Fake Love he is the one in the red sparkly jacket, he runs in the hallway with the dropping floor, and the one that walks towards the water fall during the intermission story part with the sand and the flower petals. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. “Begin” & “Euphoria”. Also, a lot of their songs have a storyline concept that connects them. You can tell which ones are because in the video credits it will say “BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment”. There are many other great songs that they did together that you could check out. For the Rap line look at Cyphers 1-4 and “Ddaeng”. For Vocal line check out “House of Cards”, “Lost”, “The Truth Untold”, “We don’t talk anymore”, “Hold me tight”. rm was not a street rapper but an underground rapper, like suga. he is also the 3rd older in the group after jin and suga. after rm is j-hope. also, the man "not expecting to come out like that" was j-hope. no hate I just noticed it.
Truth, Underground not street. But no, he is younger than J-hope. Both are 94 liners but J-hope’s Bday is Feb and RM is Sept. :) As for the “didn’t expect him to come out like that” my fault, we are both right. He said it for both. I think one of BTS 's best qualities is their ability to stay genre fluid...you'll often hear a blend of pop, hip hop, r &b, edm, rock. And the instrumentals are always great!! Fun fact. About 90% of their songs are written by the members, mainly RM the leader and they do alot of their own production as well. You should react to BTS The seven members of Bangtan. Also, not to confuse you but there has been a long storyline running through the past several ALBUMS. So there is alot of story references in the videos. It is very complex and actually GENIUS! I've never seen anything like it. It takes place in BU, Bangtan Universe. But before that you should watch the Seven members video, then there are short individual videos for each member. I'm going to add this to the mix of why BTS is so popular. Besides the very obvious (singing, dancing, music), they have a hidden story called the BTS Universe (BU), that is told in a lot of their MVs. Fake Love is part of this story line. The water scene, the fire, the phones on the wall, the masked figure, the Snickers, are all part of the story. This story started in 2015, and is still going on.
@@ajrj1078 The BU story is just a bonus. BigHit (production company) NEVER does anything randomly. So, when odd things show up in the MVs, there is always a reason. But you can just enjoy the music and the artistic MVs without getting into the deeper aspects of it.

@@ajrj1078 i suggest for you to watch the music videos first. They actually just releasing a webtoon that released every thursday until april. The webtoon is explaining the storyline. Its not fun if you read it first. Need to feel confused first with the theories. 🤭 BTS and bighit dedication toward their storyline and music truly admirable. Its been almost 6 years and they never allow low quality music and storyline to be put out. Its big reason why media dubbed them as biggest boyband in the world right now. Grammy even keep praising them.
Two things: ONE: I recommend watching the "Who is BTS the 7 Members of Bantan" videos (each video features a member and explains their background etc TWO: Just an interesting fact about this music video: The scenes with the water flooding in, the floor falling behind Jungkook etc were NOT CGI, they were very real, and you can see the behind the scenes on how they did this
bts said fake love's genre is ''emo hip hop with a grunge rock guitar sound and groovy trap beat''. bts love to experiment on new genres/ genres that they've never done before. they really grow and improve a lot as musicians. twitter armys (fandom name) think fake love is one of the best bts song because of the production, the instrumental is IMPRESSIVE. plus the lyrics are very poetic (not to mention the high notes and the rap). fake love is very critically acclaimed. its in mannnnnnny year end list of best songs in 2018.

BTS MVs have a lot of symbolism for the "Bangtan Universe" It's a continuing story within their MV and albums. Since you like their videos, the extra meanings will blow you away once you understand the "whys" . For instance, why was J-Hope laying on the Snickers bars, why the fire and the piano etc. Check it out.
I love watching your reactions to BTS videos as ive been a aemy since 2014 and these 7 lads literraly saved my life when i didnt want to live and this happened more times than i can remember. I love this cuz I have two younger sisters who are 10 and I showed them BTS over thanksgiving and their reactions are the same as AJ’s, just in awe and noticing stuff like certain dances. Bts has 3 rappers, maybe check out their Cyphers 1-4, no mvs but lyric videos with pictures showing who is rapping. So you get to know all their flow and style very well in those lyric videos.
Just a glance at your views shows that they are highest when you react to BTS. They are definitely on top when it comes to kpop, in fact many people who are not really fans of kpop are fans of BTS. They are in class by themselves! 😎

The blonde guy in the Mic drop mv is Kim Namjoon aka RM.He is a rapper and the leader of the group and he is also the only one who can speak fluent english.Also most of the mvs of BTS are connected to each other and they are telling a really deep story through these and ARMYs from all over the world made different theories about it. oh and if you wanna learn more things about them then you should check out the "Who is BTS?Tge seven members of Bangtan" video.
What I really like about BTS is the variety of songs they have. They have aggressive ones like Mic Drop that'll get you fired up, they have emotional/mellow ones like Spring Day, upbeat ones like Best of Me, and they also have songs that incorporate different cultures. They even have like hardcore hip hop songs from their earlier days. Each member also does a solo that showcases their own talents, so the rappers have their own pure rap songs and the vocalists have their own as well. For rap, check out the cycphers of the rap unit of BTS composed of RM, J-Hope, and Suga. They also have this new track called Ddaeng which is super dope. I'll list a few below that you might wanna check out :) Aggressive songs: Mic Drop Not Today Fire From their earlier days: (N.O., We Are Bulletproof, No More Dreams) Upbeat Songs: Best of Me (collab with The Chainsmokers) Answer: Love Myself I'm Fine (this is like a part 2 song of Save Me which I listed in the next category so if you wanna watch this, try a live version in which they perform both songs). Mellow/Emotional/Sad Songs: Spring Day Butterfly Epiphany (Jin's solo) Save Me Euphoria Fake Love (?) Different cultures: Idol (African/Safari vibes) Airplanes pt. 2 (Mexican vibes) There are a lot more not listed here but these one's are my personal faves. The coolest part is that they're telling a story through the progression of their songs which actually puts out a great message. Like in their album Love Yourself: Her, the songs there are more about falling in love and being happy in a relationship like Best of Me and Euphoria. Then in Love Yourself: Tear that's where the relationship starts to break and so we have Fake Love. And lastly in Love Yourself: Answer, the songs are more about the realization that you must love yourself first and foremost as can be seen in Epiphany and Answe: Love Yourself. I believe they said this beat was 'emo trap' and they totes embodied it. They have another version of this called 'rocking vibe mix' (on yt as the extended MV version of fake love) which is brit rock styled! Also random fun fact, but the official twitter accounts of a whole bunch of chocolates argued abt why snickers was chosen for this vid xD BTS takes a lot of pride with their music and that's the real struggle of being an ARMY: ALL their music is good, not just their title songs. I love sooo many of their b sides more than the title songs, but this is the one BTS was really proud of. BTS music videos have a lot of hidden messages in it, you have to be focus and find them, their songs connects to each other, better start from their old songs first because there are story lines in it. Many new fans gets confuse by watching their newer MVs first. They have a comic book too - "Save Me", just released few days ago in Webtoon. The member who was dancing when you asked about Mic Drop (the one with the candy bars, leaning up against the door trying to block it and pretending he is talking to himself in front of a mirror during the dance line) is J-Hope. He is the one who jumped off the table at the beginning of Mic Drop. Not sure if that is who you were asking about This video has a lot of symbology and a story line from their BTS universe that has deep meaning that goes through a whole series of videos (it gets pretty deep and addresses loss, abandonment, domestic abuse, mental illness and a lot of other topics typically avoided in Korean - as well as world wide - music). Just found you today and I love you guys already! Although RJ is more relatable to me, AJ always makes me smile! Don't worry about it taking a while to learn their names - there are 7 of them, so it usually take a bit. I would love to see you guys react to some of the Intro to BTS videos, but not sure if you only do MVs? If you do decide to, there are plenty of options. My personal recommendation is actually a series on the channel gadaursan, but it is a total of 8 videos so... Second is Jin, real name is Kim Seok-jin. He is in the Vocal line. He is the eldest "brother" (Hyung) of the group and as such should receive the most respect from all members, though he does not enforce this (such customs are strong in Korean culture) because he does not want to overstep RM's role as leader. His role is Lead Visual (for K-pop the "visual" member is considered the best looking and the focal point of the group's image. You will often see Jin taking a center role in their story line mvs.) and vocalist. He was recruited when a member of Big Hit saw him getting off a bus and was impressed with his good looks and approached him. His goal is to be an actor and even went to school for it. When he joined the group he had no previous training nor did he know how to sing or dance. The other members say he practices the hardest because he does not want to hold back his members. He can cook really well and is always cooking for the members, especially on their birthdays. He is known for his "Dad Jokes" and he is referred to as the "Mom" of the group because of how he takes care of everyone. He is tied with V as the second tallest member. He is a self-taught guitarist and even taught himself how to play his song “Epiphany” on the piano so he could play it live during performances. His birthday is December 4th. In Mic Drop, when the beat winds down, the screen goes black and white and after RM says: "Good Luck", Jin is the member at the front center of the 'pyramid' singing. In Airplane pt.2, Jin is the blonde singing "we still" in a really high tone on the stage with RM. In Fake Love, he is the guy "in the tornado" not running. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. "Awake" and "Epiphany".
Third we have Suga, real name is Min Yoon-gi. He is in the Rap line. He is the second eldest member of the group and also a rapper. He produces most of their music. Just like RM, he was an underground rapper before joining BTS and was the second member to join. He is known for his "cold" demeanor and blunt words. However that is a misconception, he is an extreme introvert but he cares very deeply for his members & fans. He is very supportive & encourages the members & fans & gives his all. He was never a “dancer” before joining the group, but he did used to B-boy & he can hold his own despite a terrible shoulder injury he sustained in an accident before they debuted. He is referred to as the "Dad" of the group (sometimes as the Grandpa because of his grumpiness) because of the way he cares for the members and because he is always the one fixing things that are broken (mostly by RM). He also is pretty skilled at cooking. He is known for always being tired and wanting to sleep, mainly because he doesn't sleep much due to his Insomnia and he is a work-a-holic. He is a trained pianist and is freaking AMAZING. He is second to the shortest by only 1 cm, though, no one dares tease him about it, and he doesn’t seem to mind it either. His birthday is March 9th. In Mic Drop he was the second rapper that came in when they said "Mic Mic Bungee" and also when the screen went red and 2 members flew back in slow motion. In Airplane pt. 2 he was the third rapper, wearing the fringe top, and took us to the outdoors area for the rest of the song. In Fake Love, he was also the third rapper, he threw the guitar, said "It's all fake love" and was sitting in the room with the fire. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work, you'll find it under the alter ego name: Agust D. “Agust D”, “Give it to me”, “First love”, “Never Mind”, and “Seesaw” are a good place to start, though just like with RM, be prepared for strong language on some of them.
Fourth we have J-Hope, real name is Jung Ho-seok. He is in the Rap and Dance line. He is the third eldest member of the group and the third rapper, as well as a sub-vocalist. He had never sang nor rapped before joining BTS but he was famously known as a street dancer winning many awards. He is also the lead dancer. He works with their choreographer to learn all of their dances quickly and to incorporate his own moves, and then he tirelessly teaches the other members to perfection. It is said, dances that takes other days to learn, he can learn in hours. He was a street dancer before joining BTS. He is known for his bright and sunshine personality, quick with smiles and an over the top extra personality. He acts this way and chose his stage name because he wanted to "be the hope for our fans and my members, so they will always be happy and not have worries). However, when it comes to choreography, his personality does a complete 180 and the members say he is scarier than Suga. He is fifth in line for height. His birthday is February 18th. In Mic Drop, he was the first rapper that jumped over the table and was the one that turned back to back with Suga saying "Mic Mic Bungee". In the outdoor sequence he wore the all red suit. In Airplane pt. 2, he was the second rapper that danced on the bar. In Fake Love, he was the second rapper you saw after coming through the key hole and he was in the room and on top of the pile of Snickers. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. “Airplane” (the part 1, btw), “Boy meets evil”, “Mama”, and “Just Dance” is a good place to start.
Fifth we have Jimin, real name is Park Ji-min. He is in the Dance and Vocal line. He is fifth eldest in the group, a vocalist and a dancer. He is skilled in street dance but he is also trained in contemporary dance. And he dances beautifully. Before joining BTS, he had never sang before and is not a trained singer. Because of this, he is extremely self-conscious, and often will get very depressed and is too hard on himself when he makes any mistake. He is a perfectionist. However, it is said that his voice is like hearing the Angels, it is so light and pure. He is a clumsy boy and falls a lot. He is often teased because he is the shortest of the members (only 1 cm shorter than Suga). He is also teased because his shoulder is always “accidentally” becoming exposed as they dance. He is known for listening to the burdens of the other members and comforting them and helping them through their hard times. He tries to come off as confident and outgoing but often will end up flustered and hiding shyly. He also has a habit of hitting the other members when he gets embarrassed. His birthday is October 13th. In Mic Drop you see him at the beginning dancing and wearing the bucket hat and his shoulder exposed. In Airplane pt.2, he dances up to Jungkook and takes the “microphone” from him and starts singing. In Fake Love he was the one wearing the leopard shirt in the blue room with the water rushing in. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. “Lie”, “Serendipity”, and “Promise” is a good place to start.
Sixth we have V, real name is Kim Tae-hyung. He is in the Dance and Vocal line. He is the second to youngest in the group, a vocalist, dancer, and visual. He was scouted when he accompanied a friend to auditions and they asked him to audition. His looks were so unique and beautiful that they kept him a complete mystery until they debuted. Big Hit called him their secret weapon, however this was a very painful experience for V. When he joined he had never danced or sang but he had some lessons but was told he didn’t have any talent. He is an extreme extrovert and is described by his fellow members as being innocent and pure and still untainted by the world. He easily befriends anyone he meets. He is also the only member to have acted in a drama (Hwarang, it’s fabulous) and he won an award for his acting. He is nicknamed “CG V” because he is so unbelievably good looking, people say he is too perfect, he must be Computer Generated (CG). He is also praised highly for his performance presence and the facial expressions he makes while performing (or while goofing off). He is tied with Jin as the second tallest member. His voice is the deepest of the vocalists (and perhaps the group but we don’t know who is deeper, V or RM) and is described as “soulful”. He was ranked as the #1 most handsome man in the world in 2017 and the #1 most handsome man in Asia in 2018. He is very humble and does not think he is that handsome and will get shy when someone tells him he is. He is also known for when he coined the term “Borahae” which means “I purple you” Which means “I love you and trust you forever”. His birthday is December 30th. In Mic Drop he is the other one (aside from Suga) that is wearing a bandana on his forehead, and when they are dancing and there is an explosion, he is the one in the front center wearing red pants and the sparkly red jacket. In Airplane pt.2, he was the first person you see that walks into the bar and sits down and the last one that you see that turns around at the end. In Fake Love he is the first one that begins singing, the one that is in the room with all of the flashing phones and the phone that turns into sand. To get a good idea of his abilities, check out some of his solo work. “Stigma” & “Singularity”.
Lastly, the seventh member is Jungkook, real name is Jeon Jung-kook. He is in the Dance and Vocal line (and is considered an honorary member of the Rap line). He is the Makanae (youngest member) of the group, he is the main vocalist and a dancer. He joined the group at the tender age of 14 and has essentially been raised by the members of BTS. He is also an introvert. He is a trained dancer but had never sang until he auditioned for a singing competition, which he didn’t get far in. However he received a ton of offers from companies but rather than choosing one of the larger companies he chose to join BigHit & BTS because of RM. He was so impressed by RM and admired him greatly. He was ranked as #2 most handsome man in the world for 2018. He is nicknamed as the “Golden Makanae” because he is good at EVERYTHING he does. Literally. Running, basketball, archery, dancing, singing, rapping, playing piano, etc. Even if he had never done it before, he will learn and master it quickly. He is praised for his young, fresh, and innocent looks. He is fourth in height of the group. He is praised for his exceptional vocals and is considered to have the most stable vocals of the group while dancing. He is extremely shy, but has flourished because of the care of his members (Hyungs). As the main vocalist, you will often find him front and center in their performances, dances, and mvs. In Mic Drop he is the one in the camo pants dancing on the left after J-hope starts rapping and the one dancing alone for a moment after the ambulance scene with RM. In Airplane pt.2 he is the first one to start singing. In Fake Love he is the one in the red sparkly jacket, he runs in the hallway with the dropping floor, and the one that walks towards the water fall during the intermission story part with the sand and the flower petals. I think one of BTS 's best qualities is their ability to stay genre fluid...you'll often hear a blend of pop, hip hop, r &b, edm, rock. And the instrumentals are always great!! Fun fact. About 90% of their songs are written by the members, mainly RM the leader and they do alot of their own production as well.

Also, not to confuse you but there has been a long storyline running through the past several ALBUMS. So there is alot of story references in the videos. It is very complex and actually GENIUS! I've never seen anything like it. It takes place in BU, Bangtan Universe. But before that you should watch the Seven members video, then there are short individual videos for each member.

I'm going to add this to the mix of why BTS is so popular. Besides the very obvious (singing, dancing, music), they have a hidden story called the BTS Universe (BU), that is told in a lot of their MVs. Fake Love is part of this story line. The water scene, the fire, the phones on the wall, the masked figure, the Snickers, are all part of the story. This story started in 2015, and is still going on.

@@ajrj1078 The BU story is just a bonus. BigHit (production company) NEVER does anything randomly. So, when odd things show up in the MVs, there is always a reason. But you can just enjoy the music and the artistic MVs without getting into the deeper aspects of it.

Its not fun if you read it first. Need to feel confused first with the theories. 🤭 BTS and bighit dedication toward their storyline and music truly admirable. Its been almost 6 years and they never allow low quality music and storyline to be put out. Its big reason why media dubbed them as biggest boyband in the world right now. Grammy even keep praising them.

The blonde guy in the Mic drop mv is Kim Namjoon aka RM.He is a rapper and the leader of the group and he is also the only one who can speak fluent english.Also most of the mvs of BTS are connected to each other and they are telling a really deep story through these and ARMYs from all over the world made different theories about it.

What I really like about BTS is the variety of songs they have. They have aggressive ones like Mic Drop that'll get you fired up, they have emotional/mellow ones like Spring Day, upbeat ones like Best of Me, and they also have songs that incorporate different cultures. They even have like hardcore hip hop songs from their earlier days. Each member also does a solo that showcases their own talents, so the rappers have their own pure rap songs and the vocalists have their own as well. For rap, check out the cycphers of the rap unit of BTS composed of RM, J-Hope, and Suga. They also have this new track called Ddaeng which is super dope. And lastly in Love Yourself: Answer, the songs are more about the realization that you must love yourself first and foremost as can be seen in Epiphany and Answe: Love Yourself.

Even if you don't react to them, you should watch them in your spare time if you want to get to know them better.

BTS is great cause they’re so diverse. They go hard with the rap line, then they go hard with the vocal line in different sons, then they have Latin flavor in one, then old school R&B, then dance/Summer bop-type music. That’s why I couldn’t get tired of them if I tried. #SomethingForEveryMood 😋
They also put a lot of thought and meanings behind nearly everything they produce and they truly LOVE us as fans. And they’re amazing live too, which can’t be said for many performers to actually sing live.
