A little trick I have started doing with the PieceCool battleships that seems to help is supergluing a piece of scrap sheet across the back of the joint, that keeps the sides and bottom a little stiffer when assemblying the hull. I would add to your list of tools with these ship models a good magnifying lamp. Pre-bending the tabs on the masts ans and aerials helps as well. But a great model, the red and brass really pop on the final model
hi, your videos are great. I will get one next week but can you decide or give me some advice ? I'm not sure to get the HMS prince of wales or the yamato ? I like the model with more difficulty and details, maybe more build time too :D
Thanks for the kind words and I'm here to help :) Both of these models were a lot of fun to build and they look great together in my display case. That being said I like the HMS Prince of Wales a little more because the turrets move. The detail on the Yamato is better however so it comes down to how you want to display it. The ships are a great place to look for a longer build with lots of detail. I would also look at some of the train models , Apollo Csm & LM, DeLorean and for a good challenge the Figures like Dead Pool and Iron Man are good places to look too. Hope this helps!
ive built the piececool uss missouri , with so many parts was suprised how the fitting and instructions didnt have any design issue at all.
Good job I’m currently working Piececools Yamato battleship with a color version of the Bismarck next

Prince of “Whales”? As a Welshman, please can I beg for a name correction here :-)
Wales not Whales.
