- Hello! In this video, I will be going over every single top 1 ever verified, and ranking them from worst to best. Some of these things may surpise you, and some other things may come as no shock to anybody. Speaking of placements, one thing to note: THIS LIST IS SUBJECTIVE! THERE IS NO CHANCE THAT YOUR OPINION IS SAME AS MINE. PLEASE DO NOT HARASS ME OR OTHERS IN THE COMMENT SECTION. Just keep it respectful :)

bloodbath is the most iconic, I had to tell a lot of my friends that play gd that there are levels harder than bloodbath. They didn’t even know what Bloodlust is! I feel like bloodbath the best gd extreme

If you're talking strictly about legitimately verified (as opposed to legitimately beaten) levels, then it would include levels like Demons Dry Out, Bizzare Milestone, Crimson Clutter, and maybe Stalemate. None of those levels were ever top 1, but they were among the hardest legitimately verified levels of their time.
If you specifically mean legitimately verified AND top 1, then the only valid ones (before bloodbath) would be Demon Park, To The Grave and Extreme Park.

Gotta love how the lower ranked levels [till number 23] were destroyed for deco. Even though there were basically no decorative blocks to exactly use back then lol

My personal favorite top one is zodiac, I love the atmosphere of the level and the song, but I enjoyed hearing someone else's opinions. I personally hate Bloodlust with a passion, but I could see why someone else would like it.

Bloodbath was the Face of Extreme Demon,the influence it gave had such a massive impact.
Bloodbath is so underrated in terms of quality. I agree: the influence that this level had was like no other (Besides maybe Cataclysm).

I think Ice Carbon Diablo X, Cataclysm, Plasma Pulse Finale and The Golden should be higher.
Bloodlust has very stunning parts like the beginning but most parts are just regular hell theme decoration.

My personal favorite Top 1 (and extreme) is Stalemate Redux. It just has this really nice charm, and it’s a remake of my favorite level.

Im so glad you put Extreme Park so high, its literally my most favorite Top 1 of all time, its so underated.
Ok time for the actual comment, this video is VERY good! The effort you put in it definitely paid off. I agree with some of the things you said but I HEAVILY disagree on bloodlust and some of the older levels. Overall though this is your best video by far (although funny Wii moments with HopperFoot comes close) good luck on bloodbath!

Nice list! I honestly like most of the top 1s on this list but if I had to pick 5 I’d say Cataclysm, Zodiac, Tartarus, PPF, and Demon Park are my favorites.

It's cool to see someone not absolute hate Sonic Wave for once. I was half expecting it to place like 29th lmao.
I think the level is decent, personally. My biggest gripe is the balancing, as you said, but as far as gameplay quality goes, it's fun imo. People shit on the deco too, but that's the biggest low-hanging-fruit in the world to pick on the deco of an early NC level lol

About video I can say: you're going in the right direction because I love videos like "Ranking X from worst to best" or "ranking every X", mostly because I really wanna see some well-founded opinions, even though you said a lot of unnecessary things: for example "I think that", what ruins the video. Besides all of these issues, this video is really solid and I want to see more videos like this from you.

I really like Yata tbh. I think it was mainly the verification arc, and how it was passed from around by some of the best players at the time because it was just too hard. It's easy to say in it's unnerfed form its difficulty was way ahead of it's time. Also around that time I started to pay a lot more attention to the community in general, or maybe it's just nostalgia. I also like Athanatos just because I like to watch the waves go squiggly at the end and the song slaps. Same case can be made for artificial ascent, which kinda pioneered the "fast paced gameplay switches" style.

1. you forgot fexty and theory of darkness
2. There are some things I agree with and some I don’t. I can agree with a lot of the lower and higher levels. There are levels near the centre that I would disagree with, however. Due to how influential it was, I would probably rank silent club and ICDX higher, but that’s just my opinion.

I remember when I thought bloodbath was the hardest in 2020. The only levels I knew of were stereo madness and bloodbath.

@@subtractment you could say the same with jumper since it was theoretically a top 1 when the game first released. There were also a select few levels that were concidered a demon in 1.2 but clubstep was miles harder than any demon legitemetly beaten by then so its a theoretical top demon

What's weird to think about is that Cybernetic Crescent (sequel to Artificial and Digital) is at least 80 spots above Artificial, 30 spots above Digital, but was never a top 1

5:18 the reason the deco is bad is its TECHNICALLY made in 1.2 with a practice bug to verify

Imo the golden is personally one of the best levels to touch the top 3. It is so atmospheric and the darkness really fits the concept it goes for. I can see why people wouldn't like it but I can see it and it is the main reason why I started to like green. Also bloodlust sucks to me. It's way too static and the colours are terrible. It's just bright red. I am ok with dark red( not too dark ) but the brightness is too much. It doesn't have any atmosphere. Extreme Park is a very fun level like many memory demons. Sure it is learny but it's not too much.

Athanatos was top 1 in August 2016-ish. Technically Sakupen Hell was never actually #1 because what happened is it was listed as #2 for a long time (beneath Bloodbath), then both Athanatos and Sakupen were moved above Bloodbath at the same time
zodiac doesn't have poor balancing its actually better thought out than people think, yeah some parts are harder than the others but within those parts the difficulty is kept the same (balanced) meaning that there are no easy parts on the hard parts and no hard parts between the easy ones. That and also the pacing of each part is great being that there are no hard parts right after another hard part but easy parts as a break

my favorite top 1 is rather zodiac or slaughterhouse. i like zodiac because of all the drama about how xander hacked it and tech basically verifying it plus dont get me started with the song it fits perfectly other than that the decoration is beautiful. i remember sitting on my bed looking at videos and i saw a gd video about all the top levels and like the goblin i am i skipped right to the end and oh my god i was amazed and the reason why was because i didn't play gd as much as i used to back then i thought it died a while ago and i got back into gd. ok now slaughterhouse i love how it was an old imposible level and how it got revived almost like death corridor which is another level i really like mainly because of the history behind it but back to slaughterhouse the song awesome and scary the decoration awesome and scary the game play scary because of how hard it is and awesome that an actual human beat the level. but i guess those are my favorite levels.

Artificial Ascent would also never have existed because it was a cataclysm remake before its theme we know today
technically it wasnt xander's megacollab, it was bianox's. bianox hosted it so he chose the song and stuff.
Firework and Slaughterhouse now verified, where do they place?
Ooh, this is tough. I actually really really like both of them. They are both better than bloodlust in my opinion, as unpopular as that may be. I think slaughterhouse is better than firework because of the intensity of the song and atmosphere. Firework is above bl because of the originality and decoration. Again, this is my opinion and I know a lot of people will disagree with me.
