- Previously we say how to make a frequency distribution and histogram in Excel. The easy way is to put the bin ranges in the center of each bar. A viewer asks: Can you put the limits at each end of the bar? Yes: but it is difficult. Let me show you how, the easiest way.
It is very complicated. But it does work!!! I can never thank you enough!!!! Really do appreciate it!
woah, thank you! i can't believe this actually worked!
In this case I think it might be easier just to create a histogram the old school way with custom bins and countifs() function to count datapoints that fall between each bin. Then create a column chart of the count values.
holy sh... u just helped me.
ive been googling my a... off since 1.5 days and u just saved me
dude thank you from the bottom of my heart
Thank you really helpful.
Hi. You save my life.i have been looking for this. Thank you so much.
love from portugal.
Well thought and devised.
Thank you so much!
Thank you!!
It works!!! Thank you very much
It works. Difficult to remember those steps. I think using textbox, manually type x axis value is much easier. Is there no other such option ?
I went with textboxes. Not very elegant but it worked
Thank you!
when I click 'on tick marks' it just moves the tick mark to the center of every bars 😭
Cannot "Paste Special"
Maybe you can try insert column or bar chart instead of using histogram. When I insert the histogram, I really can't paste special after copy the figures. But it works when I used the column as the graph.
@@teotzeyongc229 It is sad that Microsoft continues to randomly change functionality and menus. I'll try to revisit this soon and see if there is a better method now.
Same!
It works well. However, I can't get the X-Axis label to appear at the bottom. It keeps appearing at the top. Where the original values are now white.
thank youu
Please guide me how to adjust bar width, proportional to class width/height
my excel 2016 dun have the secondary horizontal option, may I know how can I activate it??
Thanks

yawaa salamat kaayo buanga ka
Thank you, I've been looking for the answer to this for a long time, but how do you do this for 2 or more data sets in the same histogram?
I am not sure exactly what you'd like to do- see this video where I add a normal curve to a histogram, and see if those techniques help you. If not, let me know what changes you'd like!
did u figure it out? I need help w that right now hahah for my econometrics assignment
@@genesisyt4763 I did but that was 3 years ago and I've forgotten how, sorry
it doesnt work for me :( when i click paste special nothing happen:(((((((((((((
Well, blame old Micro$oft... they are always messing things up. I'll try to take another look at this and see what I can do.
Doesn't work for me either. No paste special available when I click on the graph
@@alisha9738 same.! we have the same problem sis
No paste special option
It works! However I'm starting to think that there isn't a histogram chart in excel by default for a reason. This method of displaying the data serves no purpose compared to a bar graph and only if you're in a stupid statistics program will you ever need this.
10 minutes? Seriously?
