@Arne Boom, the original team is heavily involved, and it’s supposed to focus more on The Blind Man reckoning with his past. Sam Raimi was quoted as saying it’s the greatest idea he’s ever heard for a sequel. So hopefully it keeps on that track, and it has a purpose, instead of just being a money grab copy of the original like you said.
