This was one of the songs that got me motivated to learn some of Rich's stuff on guitar and try my hand at it. I actually memorized all the lyrics to 'blood of a young wolf' took forever! This song is fantastic though, one of if not his best. I can never explain to my buds why I like his stuff but I'm a lifetime fan....picked up Dirtbike and can't wait to get into it. This song and 'phil' were the best on the square album.
Are you serious? If so I would like to commend you for sticking by a friend despite being attacked for it. And this song is amazing!!! Goosebumps everytime.
dose anybody have the buck 65 strong arm mixtape i've been looking all over for it, theres a song called suspect thats been stuck in my head for days. if anybody has it could they please upload it to you tube or send it to me thank you.
@merkabaradio Really? For me the delivery is one of the things that makes him memorable... kind of like the Johnny Cash of hip hop, tellin stories in his gravelly voice...
I don't think there's anything really wrong with his lyrics, his delivery/diction is a bit flat though. Really bad-ass beats, but his delivery is really what prevents me from loving his stuff.
Seriously? I am a big fan, of a wide range of hip hop, and someone I know recommended this guy to me and I am thoroughly disappointed. I can appreciate some of his lyrics, good story teller but the delivery is really fuckin lame and some songs are just horrible. To each his own, but I will have to disagree with this one.
Yeah you don't get it . Your one in a million . He has performed world wide . Not bad for a small town boy . He was also there at the start of hip hop not all this new stuff that claims to be hip hop. Some people know where the music started. Some don't .
This is my favourite Buck 65 song.

reading his book. stella shows up in the first ten pages. of course, we don't know if she was real, but the story is brilliant.
It's on his 'Square' album.
This was on CBC's Zed right? They need to keep shows like that on the air. We need a CBC's Radio 3 music show!
