    I love Mascota! On our last trip there (a few years ago), we were lucky to witness the Benediction of the priest in the church….everyone in the square came to a silent standstill during the benediction which lasted about 5 minutes. Then we had the privilege to witness the “Promenade “. There are 2 circles of people,…each circle going in the opposite direction. I think traditionally, the promenade is for the young women & men to look for potential partners. However, on the evening we were there it was everyone….families etc. Mascota truly is a Puebla Magica. And we stayed in a very nice colonial hotel on the Main Street that was supposedly haunted!

    I went to mascota a few years ago. My Mexican friend Roberto, from Talpa, showed me ruins from the 1500s when the Spanish arrived. Very old and historic town.

    I must go! Bonito video! I like the billboard above the abarrotes and one can never have too much unhealthy food on a road trip. Do you know if the buses go to Mascota? (The greyhound style of bus).

    • @MovingToMexiCo
      @MovingToMexiCo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course, you are the first to notice! 😂
      Im not sure what you win yet but I’ll think of something.
      I think that if you take the bus you will need to take the local buses from Puerto Vallarta. That would add to your adventure 😃

    Well done Paul! Mascota looks like a great town to visit and escape the heat. The cabin is very nice, perfect base camp to stay and explore the surrounding area. The drone footage of town seemed much larger than 1,500 residents, I believe the population is 15,000. Still small enough to enjoy the small town atmosphere.

    • @MovingToMexiCo
      @MovingToMexiCo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe I misspoke. It is 15,000. Thank you!

    you guys are doing a great job with the channel Paul! its videos like this why I started watching 3+ years ago. I lost interest when Joel turned it into a real estate channel. anyways, fantastic video that has a sort of documentary feel to it in the parts where you arent interacting with your family. the skeleton of that unfinished church looks amazing covered in bouganvillas! so many cool photo ops there! have not yet been to Mascota but its on my list. adding a couple more pueblos magicos on our current trip - San Cristobal and tomorrow Chiapa de Corzo down in Chiapas. the weather in San Cris has been amazing... maybe 80 degrees for highs and night time lows in the 50's. I am seriously considering moving here. tomorrow we drop about 5500 feet in elevation and return to tropical heat and humidity. yuck.

    people become heartless. all they see foods and don't care about other living creatures that have family just like we are. soul sucking foods always intestinal stinks and from there developed selfish egoistic thoughts on brain . take breath on lost soul for stay alive is not true living. why is society existing with violent through whole civilization? because of violent behaviors only by people nobody else. harm the animals is seems nothing but same as harm all include oneself, first selfishness kill relate to rest of kills and become epidemic crime and blame on each other's. boring. Univers is not about me me me and your foods ,IT IS UNIVERSE .
