    Kurt was an innovative songwriter and a damn good singer. His "screams" here are top notch during the chorus. His pitch is right on. People who bashed the band just didn't have ears to hear with.

    You can rly notice the double vocals, if I remember correctly he didnt wanna double the vocals on the tracks but his producer explained that this is how John Lennon would do it most of the time. And that made Kurt more accepting to it.

    • @nope110
      @nope110 5 ปีที่แล้ว +205

      He hated the production on this album, it was over produced and not raw sounding like he liked, while this sounds objectively better than bleach or in utero, the actuall sound on those 2 are far superior to, in kurts words, the 'squeaky' sound on this

      True. That’s why I don’t miss him. Because I just knew his music and talents and those are still with us. When he was alive most of us just watched him playing on tv and even if u went to a couple concerts there’s no way to miss him cause there wasn’t a personal relationship. I do miss my best friend who passed away a couple years ago but I don’t miss Kurt Cobain cause all that I knew from him was his music...and I still can listen to it or watch his videos .

      It's called double tracking. You record it twice and pan one to the left and the other to the right. Really common in music with heavily distorted guitars.

    This is the vocals only version of the isolated vocals track? Was this video titled by the Department of Redundancy Department?

      Flyboy BC that’s not fair to say. Both from similar neighborhoods, in the fact that there was nothing there for them other than get in trouble and listen to music. Cobain was masterful and precise in how he made his music. He was planning on transforming his music as he grew older, who’s to say his influence wouldn’t have been just as immense as Lennon or greater

    Not this one though. It just shows how incredible his voice was. Rest in peace, you beautiful man.
