8:42....I'm glad your showing a side by side of these Hercs bc Hadbro needed to make him the same size as the TB version just w/some better hands and an angry bigger headsculpt.

If I was collecting the Masterverse figures I would totally display V1 Herc with them. Even the odd skintone works with them. And thank you very much 👍🙂
Awesome review of an awesome figure. Herc's always been a favourite of mine. I have the previous modern Hercules figure. As you say the legs aren't bulky enough. New Herc looks way bulkier. Aside from him being a little short compared to Thor, I think they should've given him the up and down hinge on his mace holding hands. 80yrs Thor has one.
Thank you very much 🙂 this such a great looking figure, and I would love to see them redo their first Hercules on this body. It would need new legs due to all the straps on the legs, but it would look great on this body. And if they do hopefully they will give him vertically hinged hands.
I love pin-less.. however, I am finding it more common to have solid frozen joints. Has this ever happened to you? Used to just be on hands where the pin-less hinge would be essentially one solid fused piece. But now it’s happening in the knees and butterfly joints. No manor of boiling the figure can fix it. It’s welded together permanently as if it were cast as one piece. I should start documenting with pictures. It happened 10 times now and twice in the What If series. It’s starting to be more common problem, and for $25 a figure it’s completely unacceptable.
That is something that I've been worried about moving to pinless joints, and misassembled parts. I've had figures with the forearms backwards, biceps on the wrong side, etc. With pins it's a simple heat and pop to fix. I haven't had completely frozen joints yet, but some that I had to work free. I did recently have a hand where the wrist joint was installed sideways. But the pinless joints are much better looking they just need a little more QC with those types of joints.
He's basically an upscaled version of the 3 3/4 scale marvel universe Hercules figure. That won't prevent me from snatch this Hercules-Hercules-Hercules up lol
That 3.75" Herc was an excellent figure as well. I'm thinking about getting another to make a custom 200X He-Man. Such a great figure, and I'm looking forward to seeing what other characters makes using this body.
@@CollectorExpress also the Mattel He-man figure has a small upper body in comparison to his cartoon counterpart. It’s Operatory so should be more muscular and wider. I am contemplating doing a kit-bash to make my figure a little more animation accurate.

Yeah, I wish that it could have been same height as the 80th anniversary Thor as well. Still a great looking figure, and I really hope that they start using this body more moving forward.
He looks great. He's my 2nd Favorite character in comics so I'm a little impartial to Him. I feel he should've been a little more bulkier on top and slightly taller similar to the older Toybiz version which was a creat figure but needed a better head sculpt. He should actually be about the same size as Thor. But bc Thors more of a popular character, Herc doesn't get his just do. I'm hoping Hasbro does the Redo of the TB Herc

I think hasbro needs to remaster all the bulky characters like Hyperion or Luke cage or any other character with the Hercule body mold

Thor is 6'6, Hercules is 6'5 so they are accurate in scale to one another. Hasbro nailed his hgt perfectly.
I put the head of Gilgamesh on the last Hercules because thats hpw he is in the comics

Hasbro should have also included grabbing/grasping hands as he is a master Roman Greco wrestler.
Absolutely, those would have been a great addition for him. Hopefully if they ever redo the V1 Herc they will make a set of grasping style hands.
