Okay, what!! The video is so well made and it’s shows you put a LOT of time into this.. the sounds effect and the visuals makes this a great guide to understanding the game more thank you!!
Something I believe worth mentioning is that, sure, these calculations do help, in practice, it's very dependent on how you loop vs the skill level of the killer and the looper. Like I know people that are still uncatchable even though they play a genrusher and likewise, people who play Yara, Dae and Jun who still die within 5 seconds. It's all very relative. These calculations help measure stuff in an objective, no human error way. But in the actual game, you're dealing with human error that affects the overall looping.
@seufimeaqui9034 Yeah, the video has the assumption that the killer and looper have the same skill level, which is high. But in the actual game, 9 times out of 10, that's not the case. So these results and your results in game are going to be different.
This video's really nice actually for a good technical analysis on Speed and Stamina! I might just talk about some insights I know before the video really. Most of these came from the DB Server. Sorry if it was long, the analysis is so cool! // SPEED FrozenTundra's managed to calculate the speed conversion from DB Speed to RBX Walkspeed which was in the formula of: (16 + (0.25 x DB Speed Points)). They used some characters such as Kiara and Sarah to calculate the accurate values. Another insight was that walkspeed was apparently different for each characters which was actually true, however I didn't know that map size would also heavily affect it too! // STAMINA As for Stamina, I managed to experiment on it before and compiled it on a document to see how much difference each DB Stamina Point has. Some users have actually done this before by accurately checking the exact frame it takes to drain and recover. The ones that I actually focused more on was how much Stamina was lost from 100 -> 0 and how long will it take to recover back. Apparently, characters drain stamina faster the lower your stamina point is, but this is an exception to 5-point characters like Milicent, by around 0.75 seconds and this is for balancing reasons to help them survive entirely. So really, 6-point characters drain faster. Recovering them back however is proportional. However I never seem to notice the delay between draining and recovering stamina properly and this video was a good insight to see how it actually works! Its really nice to know how much dedication the Daybreak community has into making much effort to play and analyze the game so far! Keep up the good work Obliqued, and I'm looking forward to your stamina video analysis :3
I found my speed calculation to be different, and it changes based on whether or not you play killer/survivor (plus the map) For survivors, Walkspeed = 13.5 + (Speed_Points / 8) which was basically an estimate from the testing results at 2:10 And for killers, Walkspeed = 16.25 + (Speed_Points / 4). It could be 16, but the speed tests on different maps give me about 16.125 or 16.25. In terms of stamina, it makes sense to limit the drain rate, since there's already an 8 second difference between 5 and 6 stamina in recovery.
So again, I've been playing around with the pacing (and tried adding more sound effects). Feedback is appreciated! I've also switched video editors (olive to kdenlive).
Level 1k and I barely knew half of the things here
I can't even kite and I'm the same level lol.
THIS IS SO DETAILED THE AMOUNT OF WORK GIRL- I COULD NEVER THIS IS AMAZING YOU'RE AMAZING AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
i have always been curious about how fast the killers are compared to survivors in a more general way than in a loop, thank you for this

Now I can mathematically be a better looper, LETS GOOO

this is insanely helpful WORDS CANT EVEN DESCRIBE
wow this is actually really insightful. thank you for the video! love the editing

Omg I’ve been getting into this game recently and have been looking for a good video on looping. Tysm for this :D
Bro 😂😂 this is fantastic! Good work
Love this! Super underrated!!
AMAZING VIDEO!!!
this is brilliant
YOU ATE WITH THIS VID OML
Now this is the guide on speed and stamina that EVERYONE needed!! 🙏
YES. MORE OBLIQUED VIDEOS.
As a new player this kinda helps me out since i suck at looping😭
EARLY TO AN OBLIQUED VIDEO LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
just come back playing after 1 year hiatus and I became so bad that i search this up tyy 💔💔
How helpful the video is! I can maybe know how to manage stamina properly. Thanks
Taylor is that you??, also this video is amazing
Level 290 here and I saw another level 200 loop 3 minutes with irises perk
How much did you get in your maths test…
This vid is so detailed
you should upload forsaken!
Must’ve taken a lot of time to make this. Hope the video does well
I feel like I can loop better as a genrusher
Imo it's not rlly that hard bc I always have the mindset of a looper
