Tbh the thing about tekken is you can main anyone and no one will judge you because there's no such thing as a one trick in tekken when you have all these characters with an insane amount of combos and all this tech that comes along with the game, that's why I love tekken plus the community is also great.

In mk1 I picked up havik a week later since released (I tried reptile but at the time he was just eh not not) and to this day I’m still learning cool stuff with havik. By far the most odd character but so so fun when you learn the fundamentals for him
Oppenheimer was a fantastic watch. The main thing I heard people complain about was that the entire movie was pure dialogue but what did they expect loll.
Sub Zero is so clean in this latest mk1. My favorite iteration of him. My fav is noob Saibot so they are setting a great standard for when this one finally turns evil!
Some characters in Tekken 8 have projectiles but they’re off of strings that the characters can do. Right now, there’s no standing one button unit projectile. I guess you could count devil Jin’s laser but its really slow

Tekken 8 is looking to be a good fighting game in general but the biggest issue is there is still a lack of tutorials in game. Though if you're interested, just go for it and have fun.

Hey Jev maybe try watching the original dune 1984 movie which is pretty accurate in term of describing the source material, and maybe also try reading the book it's pretty cool as a sci-fi litterature standpoint !
