- There are a lot of times when SNSD accidentally mention Jessica/OT9 but takes it back immediately because obviously SM wants them to pretend that they debuted as 8. FVCK SM!

For all those people who will contradict this video. You better go to Yuri's TH-cam Channel and see for yourself the comments she liked. Most of the comments she personally liked talked about OT9 and Jessica.
Just to also give you something to think about. Yoona and Hyoyeon are one of the members who are closest to Jessica. Also, there is Sooyoung who's always rumored to be going out at the same place with Jessica. And, Yuri with all those likes she's giving.

One more thing for those people saying that it's the members decision obviously have a shallow thinking.
Do you seriously think that SM would sacrifice the reputation of the 9-member best selling girl group just because the members had a conflict with each other? @King Delevingne I don't think they voted her out. There are some members who still keep Jessica's picture with OT9 in their house, and if they really hated her they wouldn't have done that. There's other videos which shown that they wanted to talk about Jessica, but seemed afraid to do so.

Not even mention Jessica was a top member in SNSD that time, so you really think SM would let members kick her out just because of some disagreements? It's not members' decision about Jessica's department, it's Jessica and SM having problems between them as well. And we don't know what behind the scenes, if there's one having problem with you, it's their fault, but everybody having problems with you, you need to reconsider yourself. After reading Jessica's book I am convinced that it was SM who decided to boot her and not the members. In the book she mentions heavily how the company has so much power and influence over trainees and what lengths they will go to get their way. Knowing that she speaks to some of the members is relieving. I wish the girls could hang out and be friends publicly not secretly, but knowing they speak to each other and are on good terms is relieving. They never speak poorly of each other despite everything they've gone through. I do believe its SM who tries to prohibit them from mentioning Jessica, but they do anyway, our little rebels

Or maybe she's deliberately telling us what she thinks happened between her and the other 8 so the general public(and SM, cause I'm pretty sure the girls have their own private lives and SM cannot watch them 24/7) will think that they're not cool with each other when in reality, Jessica forgave the other 8 for what they did a long time ago and now they're cool with each other, though she still doesn't speak too much with who she thinks started the entire voting process (Taeyeon). This theory was created because we have seen her be in the same place as a couple of SNSD members(Yoona, for example) at the same time, and with how close she was in proximity to those members, there's honestly no way she didn't at least see them.

Sooyoung has stated that SNSD has no ill-feelings towards Jessica and Tiffany was caught listening to her music on several occasions before her concerts. I’m sure the girls want to explain to SONES what happened as a form of closure but until the remaining five (OH!GG) members are no longer part of SM or until SNSD disbands altogether, we may never know the truth about what happened prior to 930. SM is definitely a scary company you don’t want to mess with.

At a meeting of the other eight members, it was decided that I would be told to either turn my back on my business or leave the group." based on this I believe the other 8 members decided on majority votes...
there's probably a few of them are okay with Jessica doing her business but most of the members voted to kick her out...SNSD is an established multi million dollars brand...it is not a rookie group....SM Entertainment want to destroy their best money making group just like that by not allowing Jessica to do her own business? Almost 6 years have passed after jessica's departure and until now i'm still hoping that the day will come that ot9 will come together and sing their songs while reminscing their journey freely without the control of SM.

I wish SM would let them be like the Wonder Girls. In every iteration of the Wonder Girls they still acknowledge past members and they say “Once a Wonder Girl always a Wonder Girl” it was that way when Hyuna left, it was that way when Sunmi left AND came back, it was that way when Sunye left, it was that way when Sohee left and it was that way when the whole group disbanded. Just let them be!
I'm not too familiar with the circumstances of why each of those members of WG left but I can kinda understand why SM went the route they did with Jessica's departure since it was quite 'messy for lack of a better word.

HyunA left due to illness so her parents pulled her out, Sunmi left because she was having a hard time dealing with their overseas promotions in the US, Sunye left because she wanted to get married and start a family (though she was technically still in the group until their 4-member comeback), and Sohee left because she wanted to pursue acting over music, which was her original goal. Not much mess there, although there are rumors to the contrary. All the girls are friendly with each other though some more than others and they were even roommates past the time it was strictly necessary. In general whatever negatives there are about JYPE for the most part (with a few exceptions like Jay Park etc) they or at least JYP himself tend to have a decent relationship with most of their former artists.

For all those people saying that it's the 8 girls' choice not to talk about Jessica is completely wrong. Come to think of it, Jessica is the one who was "forced out" of the group, so she has all the rights to be angry and never talked about her devastating past. Yet, Jessica never really refrained herself to talk about Girls' Generation. She even included in her book that she was a former member.
What I want to say is that Jessica is free to talk about SNSD because no one is prohibiting her to do so. On the other hand, the 8 members cannot do it because they're still under the brand of Girls' Generation which is under SM Entertainment. Got my logic?

Sooyoung did talked once about them being nine members. Tiffany and Hyoyeon also acknowledges that they were nine a lot of times. Yuri mentioned that they were nine members before but they are now eight. I guess the girls are taking their time or just like what some said, maybe they are just waiting for the other girls to leave SM so they could talk about things before 9/30 freely.

I do think it is less of an evil than people make it out to be. Especially with EXO, the remaining nine members were caught extremely off-guard with the Chinese members leaving; it makes complete sense they would be hurt and a little resentful at those past members (at least for a while). Maybe SNSD and EXO didn't want to mention past members bc it brings up sour memories? And they want their fans and the media to focus on the present group and their future endeavors, not always writing stories about the members who left and theorizing about what happened. Everyone is always quick to blame SM when there are other reasonable explanations.

@@layloo5244 Well, to be fair, SM has the largest amount of groups that have lost members; there aren't a lot of others to compare to from other management companies in terms of how they handle the situation. What other active groups consistently talk about past members (who may have left on bad terms) I'm honestly curious. But for me if a member leaves the group, for whatever reason (whether it was their choice, or the other members, or the company), I really don't think the rest of of the group be obligated by the fans to bring them up in conversation. But I understand the frustration and putting the blame on SM in SNSD's situation, especially if members say outright they want to talk about Jessica, but can't due to SM.

I think just to see them going back together as friends is enough for me to heal my wounded heart. It's been 6 years but moving on is really hard to do. Of course Jessica said she was in touch with some of the members of the sausage, but there were only a few, not all of them. Jessica does not participate in Girls' Generation social gatherings because Jessica is not currently Girls' Generation. Accept the reality and support Jessica. Buy sunglasses and buy books. A mistake in this video is a habit-induced mistake. They also corrected their mistakes. It's beautiful to remember the past, but it's different from the past.

I recommend watching the shining star anime. Reading up on the drama involving Jessica and SM, the situation is reproduced as different intersecting plot lines. Looks like someone decided to use Jessica's idea of a fanfiction to tell the true story. That would explain why there's actually 2 protagonists.

You really have to be very naive to believe the other 8 members were responsible for Jessica's departure. Kpop idols have almost like no autonomy to make decisions like that. I'm 99% sure that SM gave Jessica a warning, that she needed to choose between her brand or the group. And I support her 100% for choosing her brand. SM probably didn't like that she was independent and was making money on her own.

Hollywood stars are free to say whatever they want and make their own decisions.
But kpop idols are far more tied up to their company.
For example what happened between Taeyeon and Wiz Khalifa.
Her company don't allow her to perform with sound problem.
Everyone assumed Taeyeon having a diva moment.
And even Wiz Khalifa himself surprised that she cant make decisions for herself.
So, as long as the band GG still exist, none of the members can spill all the tea about Jessica's departure.

This kind of stuff makes me sadder because I watched a video the other day that was a reaction to forever 1 and the girl joked about how she missed SNSD as 9, didn’t say she hated the others, and she got ripped to shreds in the comments just because she said that. We can’t deny that SNSD had Jessica. It’s silly that they can’t talk about it.

I was a huge sone, and I remember they said in an interview "if one of us leaves we all leave" , and I really believed them, until they kicked Jessica out and pretended like she never existed which is horrible, after that I realized they were puppets in a big game. It was so upsetting, if they were all strong enough it would be great if they said "enough is enough! Im done with SM and I want to say we used to be 9 not 8" .

It's so weird they aren't even allowed to say there used to be 9 of them? It's no secret or anything? That'd be like if Nayeon left Twice this year and then suddenly JYP acted like there were always 8 members. It'd be really unnatural and pretty disrespectful (I say Nayeon bc she's a similar role in the group to Sica)

I think if ever the members have ill-feelings towards Jessica, they may have reconciled already over the years. I believe that time heal all wounds, and these girls were best friends for years. Yesterday, Jessica also liked an IG post from a fan acct; it’s her photo with Yuri and Yoona. Let’s just hope and pray that they will continue to be friends because that’s what really matters.

I love how suju can talk freely about members that left the groups and even include a lyrics saying they are 13 stars in superman song years after the members had left .. It must have been hard for them to pretend. Management should let them talk about it freely since years have passed already. SM wanted a percentage of B&E's profit. SM made sica famous, her brand power (that SM had nurtured) helped B&E's growth so they want to capitalize that under the notion that sica's activity while remaining in GG all belong to SM. sica wasn't having that, and the rest of the members were caught in that dispute, not knowing what to do, unwise if they had picked a side. i'm pretty sure the 8 members don't hold any animosity towards her and vice versa. sad, but ultimately to SM it's just business.
Through her YA novel Jessica confirmed it really was the members that kicked her out and the company just went along with it.

It's a fictional young adult novel, why WOULDN'T she add drama for her readers? Like, maybe we don't take the fictional novel as fact when it is still just a story.

To those who still blame the girls (SNSD or Jessica) for what has happened,
I was SONE from 2009 and even until now, I support both SNSD and Jessica even they are no longer together, even if there are rumours saying that Taeyeon or other SNSD members were the reason for Jessica’s departure, but still, I will never hate her, or them. And vice-versa, even rumours saying that Jessica was the one who left willingly, i will still love her. What has happened back then must be a hurtful memory for them, Jessica was the one who trained the longest in SM compare to the other members, so when the other members first signing with SM, Jessica was already there. Imagine they must have created so many memories together even before the debut, and up until the 7th year of debut. And suddenly they are separated and forced to act like they didn’t know each other at all, because of an unexpected incident. It must be tough for all of them. I would still love all of them even if one of them is actually guilty, either SNSD or Jessica. We are not at their place, we dont know what they have gone through. Just support them all, dont throw hate. It’s been 6 years

This is for all people who still living in your own delusion that SNSD kicked Jessica out. If SNSD was having that powerful rights to decide everything, their 10th anniversary would not that shitty and they would not be treated unfairly from time to time. Not even mention Jessica was a top member in SNSD that time, so you really think SM would let members kick her out just because of some disagreements? If you really think that, you don't know anything about this field at all, Idol have to be perfect and not showing those bad sides between them to the public. It's not members' decision about Jessica's department, it's Jessica and SM having problems between them as well. And we don't know what behind the scenes, if there's one having problem with you, it's their fault, but everybody having problems with you, you need to reconsider yourself. So if all of them decided to vote her out, that's not anyone's fault, it's just there's disagreement between them.
@@hiimlieya8700 she didn't miss anything. Look at SM now, it's clear that they know they made a mistake, because they are now letting their groups do a lot of other activities. If anything, it's probably mismanagement by SM themselves - they probably wanted to take 90% of profits from her company or something ridiculous like that. I'm sure you have seen what the profit split agreement of SM looks like.
There was probably an argument between Jessica and some members yes, but look how sad and upset the other members were when they talk about the changes right after that. They sound like they're going to cry. They were all still quite young at the time, some things were said in anger, and they never thought that an argument would lead to a member being kicked out.

The fact is Jessica also wanted to leave in order to focus on her own company. SM understood and accepted her decision and there was even a song dedicated to her, the "Catch me if you can" MV filmed with her. She was supposed to leave the group and SM in a peaceful way but there were reasons why SM decided to terminate their contract. Its impact on the leading girlgroup's reputation, and the company's reputation in general must have been considered carefully. SM is a business, not a "playground". They don't kick out a member just like that.
@@hiimlieya8700 NO. The only event(s) she missed (dance tech rehearsal for fanmeet in China) were AFTER she was removed, not before. SHE DID NOT BREAK ANY AGREEMENTS. If anything, SM broke faith with her. Any other missed things before that were _not critical and with permission_ and fine because _when you're starting a business, you MUST work with the bureaucracy on THEIR schedule, not yours._ Everything was fine, up until the point where someone upstairs at SM changed their mind (maybe got greedy and demanded a bigger cut/kickback of B&E income?), at which point it was too late for Sica to back out without incurring massive financial penalties. So she plowed ahead, because forward was the only way out.
