Most DJs were idiots then. They have always believed themselves to be in the same business as the musicians whose records they played. The truth is that they don't have the talent to be anywhere near that level, so they try to be wits and only make it half way.

Apparently by 1966 they were done with interviews as well as with touring. Nice picture though.
