Yes! It seems almost impossible, maples and many decidous tress can, but red pine? Itl looks hopeless, but mother nature is so powerfull. We will see a year later.
I came upon a pine that was buried in flood water for months. One of the branches had a tangled mass of sticks and leaves around it and the trunk. When I cleaned it out, there were root tips beginning to grow. So, it does happen.
I see what your sayin..but they have serious humidity there..that's got to help. Dude usually seems to know his stuff tho..time will tell, fingers crossed here !
As far as I can tell, red pine seems to be the most friendly to rooting. I have never tried it myself. Some very strong hormones and a constant moist, but not flooded, surface should help.

いつも素晴らしいです。つかぬことお聞きしますが、テープでぐるぐる巻きにするのは何の為なんでしょうか？
本来はラフィアと言うモノを使うのが適切だと思いますが、その代用の一つとしてビニールテープを使いました。無理に曲げてるので、幹、枝の樹皮を保護したり、折れたとしても千切れるのを防ぐ効果があると思います。
